“It doesn’t matter because I still love you” Adrian said, and without warning, he pulled Jane closer to himself and pressed his lips on hers, rendering Jane speechless.
Adrian tries deepening the kiss, but Jane pushed him away and she landed a resounding slap on his face.
“Are you crazy? Why did you kiss me!” Jane shouted at him, cleaning her mouth with the back of her hand.
“I’m sorry if I kissed you unannounced, I just want to show you how much I love you” Adrian said, trying his best not to cry.
“How much you love me? Are you sick in the head? Maybe you have forgotten that you’re a married man!”
“I haven’t forgotten about that Jane. I won’t have gotten married to Debra if she didn’t get pregnant. I might be married to Debra, but you’re the one I love Jane. I love you so much” Adrian said.
“It doesn’t change anything, Adrian. After you turn your back on fifteen years ago, what will shared ended. I no longer love you Adrian, and if you keep following me, I am going to report you to the police as a stalker”
“Jane I am so sorry. If you want I am going to investigate about the video that accord fifteen years ago”
“Don’t bother Adrian. It’s all in the past and I don’t want to go through it again. You never believed me back then, so let it stay that way Adrian. We have our different lives now, so let’s continue living that way” Jane said.
She entered her car and drove off. Adrian stood there like a status, regretting his actions. Even if he doesn’t know the real truth, he wished he had tried to believe her.

“Aren’t we there yet?” Julianna asked, as Lucas guild her path. He blind folded her eyes
“Just a little more, Julie” Lucas said holding her hand.
“You’re so dead if you are trying to prank me”
“I am not trying to prank you, Julie” He said and kissed her cheek. Julianna smiled after he did that.
They arrived at their destination, and Lucas slowly took of the blind-fold from her eyes. “You can open your eyes now, Julianna” He said, whispering in her ear.
Julianna opened her eyes, and her mouth formed an O, when she saw how the place was beautifully designed. There was a dinning table and chairs, well decorated by exterior designers. The table was lavished with expensive drinks and food. The lights were shining brightly making it look like a Christmas.
There were violinists playing soft music in the background, making it look so romantic.
“Wow, it’s so beautiful, Lucas. Did you do all this?” Julianna asked smiling. She was so happy seeing how romantic Lucas was towards her. This was the first time he’d be doing this for her.
Lucas smiled and wrapped his hands around her waist. “Well I’d pay some people to do the Job. Do you like it?” He asked, smiling.
“Like is a understatement. I love it Lucas. Thanks for making out time to do this. It means a lot to me”
“I should be the one thanking you Julie. You still continued to love me regardless of my short comings. That’s why I want to ask you something important”
“What could that be, Lucas?” She asked.
Lucas smiled and went on his knees. He brought out a diamond ring and Julianna gasped after she saw the ring. “Lucas” She muttered his name”
“Juliann Rodriquez, will you marry me” He asked with glittering eyes.
“Am I dreaming? Is this you proposing to me?” She asked still looking surprised. She never expected that Lucas will propose to her.
“Yes Julie. Will you marry me? I want to spend the rest of my life with you, please marry me, Julie”
“You don’t have to add the word please, yes Lucas, I will marry you”
“Really? You will?” Lucas asked, smiling.
“Yes! Yes! I will marry you” Julianna said with so much excitement, hugging him at the same time.
Lucas hugged her back too, and they both stood up to their feet, breaking the hug. Julianna stretch forth her hand and Lucas inserted the diamond ring in her middle finger.
“I love you so much, Lucas” Julianna said, smiling.
“I love you too Julianna. Thanks for loving me Julie, and I promise I will try my best to be a good husband to you”
“I know you are going to be a good husband to me Lucas. You’re a rare gem” She said and kissed Lucas.
Lucas smiled, before reciprocating to the kiss, with his hands doing magic to her back side. The violists topnotch the kiss as they played romantic music with their violins.

≤ RODOLFO’S CONDO ≥
Rodolfo sat on the sofa, watching TV and at the same time he was talking to Julianna on the phone.
“Really? Lucas already propose to you?” Rodolfo asked.
“You’re shock right? I was also shocked too when he propose to me. I didn’t see it coming” Julianna said, with a smile on her face, looking at her engagement ring. Without being told, one could tell that the ring must have cost an arm to get it.
“I am happy for you, Julianna”
“Thanks Bestie. You’d be at my wedding, right?”
“Of course I will. I’d be there even if no one attend” Rodolfo said and Julianna laughed.
“But are you sure you want to get married to Lucas? You… ”
“I know I have made lots of mistakes in the past, but I have put all that behind me. Lucas came into my life and I turned a new leaf”
“I just want you to be happy Julianna. If it gets too touch, don’t hesitate to call me, ok”
“I will Rodolfo. What about Joyce? Is she home?”
“No, she’s not yet back. I’m sure she’s still with Jane”
“Alright, send my best wishes to her. Goodnight, bestie”
“You too” Rodolfo said and ended the call. He looked at the clock and it was past 10pm, so he decided to call Joyce, but just when he was about doing so, Joyce entered the house and he quickly rushed to her.
“You took time to come home, I was so worried about you”
“Sorry I got you worried, Rodolfo. I dropped by at the hospital, that’s why I took time to come home”
“Hospital? Are you sick?” He asked, touching her forehead.
“I thought I was sick until I went to the hospital few minutes ago. It turns out that I am pregnant. You’re going to be a father, Rodolfo!” Joyce said, squealing.
“You’re joking, right?” He asked, smiling.
“I’m not joking Rodolfo. I’m pregnant” She said giving him the pregnancy test result. Rodolfo took the result from her and read through the lines.
“I’m going to be a father! I’m going to be a dad!” He said in excitement, swirling Joyce around, and she laughed.

≤ THE STAR’S ACADEMY ≈ NEXT DAY ≥
“I’m so glad you’re still friends with me Kayla. I thought you won’t talk to me anymore” Isa said to Kayla as they walk on the hallway of the school together.
“Why will you think that way?” Kayla asked.
“I already know everything that transpired between my dad and your mom, Kayla. He told me everything, I thought you might h@të me because he was there for me when he should have been a father to you”
“I don’t hold any grudge against you, Isa. Mr. Adrian is your dad too, so he should be a good father to you. I don’t even want him as my father, I’m better off with the dad I have now”
“Kayla… ”
“I know what you’re trying to do Isa, but please don’t do it. I can never be on good terms with Mr. Adrian, so don’t try to talk me into it”
“Fine I won’t. I’m sorry” Isa apologized.
“You didn’t do anything wrong, so there’s no need to apologize. I’m sure your mom told you to avoid me, right?”
“Yes she did, but I am not going to listen to her. You’re my half-sister” Isa said and Kayla smiled.
“I have something to give to you, Kayla”
“Really? What could that be?” Kayla asked, smiling.
“Well I am not sure if you will like it” Isa muttered. She opened her backpack and brought out a sketching picture of Kayla that was well designed in a frame.
“Wow, did you draw this?”
“Yes I did. You like it?”
“Of course I do. You’re the best” Kayla said, hugging Isa, and she smiled.
Kayla broke the hug some seconds later and hold Isa’s hand. “Since you gave me a present, how about I feature you in one of my TikTok video, that way you can boast your TikTok account”
“Well I don’t have a TikTok account” Isa said taking in her lips
“Why?”
“You’re surprised, right? I don’t do this kind of stuff because I am always shy to do it”
“Well say bygone to shyness, because your sister is gonna kill that shyness” Kayla said taking Isa’s phone. “What’s your password?” She asked.
“Kayla” Isa answered.
“You don’t mean it, right?” Kayla asked, blinking.
“That’s my password” She said in a low voice.
Kayla typed her name in Isa’s phone, and it opened instantly.
“Wow, my name is really your password”
“I’m a big fan of yours, Kayla. You don’t know how happy I am that you’re my sister” Isa said, shyly.
Kayla smiled, and began creating a TikTok account for Isa.
“I have created a TikTok account for you, and your first video I will be featuring in it. How about we dance one of the trending dance steps. It’s going viral on TikTok”
“I’m not a good dancer”
“No worries, Isa. I’m going to teach you. We should also add Xiaomi in the video too” Kayla said, smiling.
“Do we have to include her? Can’t it be just the two of us?” Isa asked.
“That will be unfair on Xiaomi’s side. The three of us are friends, so we should do everything together. Beside, Xiaomi is a dancing machine, and filled with vibes. I love her extrovert spirit so much” Kayla said, calling Xiaomi.
Isa took in her lips wearing a sad face.

≤ CITY JAIL OF LOS ANGELES ≈ SAME DAY ≥
Grace was about entering the station, when Craig blocked her entrance and presented a bouquet of flowers to her, with a smile on his face.
“What the heck is this?” She asked, frowning
“Happy day one courting, Grace Tilley”
“Were you serious about courting me?”
“Yes I am. I won’t have engaged myself in a combat with you if I wasn’t serious about courting you”
“I think you should stop” Grace said, with a serious look on her face.
“Why?” Craig asked.
“Because you are just wasting your time. I’m not interested in guys”
“Are you a lesbian, then?”
“Hell no! I’m not a lesbian” Grace said, defending herself.
“Since you said you aren’t a lesbian, it means there’s still a little bit of hope”
“Hope on what?” Grace asked.
“That you might fall in love with me” Craig said, smiling.
“I don’t know if your ears are clogged, but listen to me attentively, I don’t believe in love and its fantasy. If I did, I won’t have been single till now”
“Then give me a chance, Grace. Let me court you for three weeks, and if you don’t love me back, I’m going to leave you alone, and stop being a detective here”
“Fine then, but make sure you don’t blame me when your heart gets heartbroken”
“I’m confident that I will be able to win your heart”
“Let’s see about that” Grace said, trying to leave, but Craig held her hand.
“Accept my flowers. I’m courting you” He said smiling.
“You’re courting me right? So it means it’s my decision to either accept your flowers or reject it” Grace said and entered the station without collecting the flowers from Craig.
Craig looked at the bouquet of flowers in his hand and smiled. “She’s a hard nut to crack, but I won’t give up on her” He muttered, smiling.

Xiaomi arrived in Richard’s studio with a smile on her face, after she was done dancing with Kayla and Isa.
“You’re Xiaomi right?” A man asked her
“Yes, I’m. Who are you?” She asked.
“My name is Earl, I’m Richard’s manager”
“Oh, where is he?”
“He’s on his way, he just went home to get something. You can sit here and wait for him” He said.
“Thank you”
Xiaomi sat down, looking around the studio which was filled with musical instruments, and she smiled when she saw a picture of Richard that was hung up on the wall. He was shirtless. His hair was sticky in the picture, it fell and stop near his eyes, with his pink lips doing justice to the picture.
“He is so hot” Xiaomi muttered, gulping down her spit.

≤ THE LAWSON’S MANSION ≈ NIGHT ≥
Richard was about leaving the house after getting a text from his manager that Xiaomi was in the studio waiting for him, when a maid rushed to him.
“Richard!” The maid called him and he turned to look at her.
“It’s your mom. She’s throwing a tantrum again. She wants to jump down from the window in her room!” The maid announced, and Richard quickly went upstairs to his mom’s room.
“I’m going to join you, my love, just wait for me. I’m coming” Veronica said crying, with the night breeze blowing her hair. She was about jumping from the window, when Richard entered the room.
“Mom!” He screamed, pulling her back and they both fell to the floor inside the room.
“Mom, are you okay?” He asked, and the answer Richard got was a slap from Veronica.
“You murderer! You should have just let me die rather than saving my life. You killed my husband, so allow me to die too, you cursed child. Kill me too just like how you have killed my husband!” Veronica said, slapping Richard. She stopped slapping him, when she got tired and slept off. She got drunk like always.
Tears rushed from Richard’s face as he looked at his mom who was sleeping on the floor like a log of wood. His face were red and filled with Veronica’s fingerprints.
He picked up his phone and called Xiaomi. “Hello Xiaomi, I’m sorry but I don’t think I will be able to come, just go home” He said and without giving her a chance to speak, he ended the call.
He looked at his mom and began to cry.

Jane poured a bottle of red wine into two glass cups and gave one to Lucas when she was done.
“Congratulations Lucas” She said, smiling.
“Thanks Jane”
“I am so happy for you Lucas. You can finally start a family with Julianna”
“I have always wanted to have my own kids Jane, and I think it’s time I do that. You should also considered getting married too, Jane” Lucas said and Jane laughed.
“I’m not interested in getting married Lucas. A lot of things has happened to me in the past, and I don’t want to walk through that part again” Jane said.
“You were so heartbroken, right?”
“Yes I was, and I regret falling in love with Adrian. He brought me nothing but pains”
“Can I ask you a question?” Lucas asked, looking at her.
“Sure. What could it be, Lucas?”
“What if I told you I was in love with you back then, would you have loved me back?”
“Huh?” Jane muttered, surprisedly.
