“Why are you still here?” Jane asked Adrian. Romeo already left with a cut on his forehead. Adrian wanted to report him to the cops, but Jane decline the idea.
“I just wanted to see if you are alright” He said, looking at her with eyes filled with emotions.
“I am fine. You should leave, if Kayla comes back from school and sees you here, she won’t be happy”
“Are you moving out from this house?” He asked worriedly.
“Yeah, and you don’t have to know where I am going to” She said, curtly.
“I won’t force you to tell me, Jane. As long as you and Kayla are fine whenever you are, I will be at peace. I care about you and Kayla so much” Adrian said, trying to go close to her, but Jane snuggle backward.
“You should leave Adrian. Wh@tëver I said few minutes ago, don’t take it to heart. I was just scared and that’s why I said that” Jane said, looking away from him.
“Take care of yourself, Jane” He said before leaving. Jane looked at him as he leaves and sighed.

Grace sat on her chair, flipping through the pages of the list Jane gave to her.
“What are you looking for, Grace?” Craig asked, sitting beside her.
“I think we miss out someone during the interrogation” She said.
“Really? I thought we interrogation all her employees?”
“No we didn’t. I tick out all the names of the people we interrogated except for one person”
“Who?”
“Stephanie Ruger”
“Stephanie Ruger?”
“Yes. She’s one of Jane’s employees. She started working as a cleaner there, recently”
“Have you tried calling her? Everyone will called came for the interrogation, and none of them is a suspect”
“That’s why I am flipping through the pages to see if I can see more details about Stephanie Ruger, but it’s just her phone number and name. Her number isn’t going through, and she didn’t come for the interrogation, which makes her a prime suspect”
“I will look into it myself. You should take a break”
“I’m good, I can handle this. I just need to find Stephanie”
“You have been working the entire day, Grace. You should rest” Grace said and dropped a white plastic bag on her table.
“What’s this?”
“I brought you lunch. You should eat, I will look into it” Craig said and took the booklist from her, before walking away.
Grace brought out the food Craig brought for her, and it was spaghetti sauce with cream cheese frosting, and she smiled.
“He even knows my favorite food” She muttered and began eating with a smile on her face.

≤ LUCAS MANSION ≈ NIGHT ≥
“Thanks for allowing Kayla and I stay in your house for the meantime, Lucas. We are going to move out as soon as possible”
“I’m not chasing you out, Jane. There are more than seven rooms here. You and Kayla can live with me as much as you both want”
“It’s wrong Lucas. You and Julianna are getting married soon, so it’s will be unfair if I don’t give you both your privacy. I’m finalizing the payment for my new house, we’d move out soon”
“Do you want me to be of help? I can…. ”
“Save your money for your wedding, Lucas. I have enough savings which can buy a house”
“What about your company?” Lucas asked.
“I will take a break for now, but I’m still going to attend the fashion show that will be coming up soon”
“If you need anything, don’t hesitate to tell me, okay” Lucas said, and Jane nod her head, smiling.
“How’s Julianna doing? She’s been scarce lately”
“She’s has been busy, but she’s going to come around soon” Lucas said and that’s when he saw the red marks on Jane’s neck.
“What happened to you, Jane?” He asked, looking at her neck properly.
“It’s nothing Lucas. It’s a red mark from how I slept earlier today”
“Don’t lie to me Jane, I wasn’t born yesterday. There’s fingerprints on your neck, who is the coward that did this to you?” He asked with rage.
“Well…. ”

Lucas’s car stop with force immediately he arrived at Romeo’s mansion. He entered the house with rage and sees Romeo treating his injured forehead.
“Lucas, what…”
Romeo was caught short by a heavy punch from Lucas that sent him flying to the ground. Lucas grabbed his collar, and his eyes were twinkling with anger.
“Who gave you the right to assault Jane!” He barked at Romeo and Romeo laughed like a psychopath.
“Why? Are you going to kill me for it? I’m sure you can’t since you’re a doctor. Jane led me on, and I won’t stop until I have her. Even if it means killing her, I will do it, and we will become couples in hell” Romeo said laughing, with blood coming out from his teeth.
“How about I kill you right this moment?” Lucas said and began punching Romeo severally on the face.

≤ OUTSKIRT OF THE CITY ≈ SAME NIGHT ≥
Stephanie had a smile on her face as Rebecca approach her after she came down from her car.
“Is the cops following you?” Rebecca asked.
“No. I change my phone number and house address. They’d be looking for me, that’s why I have to become an actress quickly, that way they won’t suspect me. You said you’d give me a chance to be part of the upcoming Netflix series, right? What role will I be playing?” Stephanie asked, smiling.
“I lied to you, Stephanie” Rebecca said, and before Stephanie could say a word, some men grabbed her.
“Let go of me! What’s going on here Ma. Rebecca?” She asked and Rebecca smirked.
“You made a mistake believing that I was going to help you become an actress, Stephanie. Thanks for helping me carrying out my number one plans on Jane. Lock her up in the same house you have locked Roseline, and don’t ever let her escape. If she throws a tantrum, beat her up until she summits” Rebecca said to her men.
“You’re evil Rebecca! Let go of me! Let me go!” Stephanie screamed in a crying voice as she was being taken away by Rebecca’s men.
“Fool” Rebecca said and smirked. She got a call from the lady looking after Antonio, and she picked immediately.
“How’s he doing?” She asked.
“His legs and hands are moving. There’s a chance he’d be able to walk again”
“I won’t allow that to happen. Everyone thinks he’s dead, it should remain that way. I will be coming to Dashie to give him more injections” Rebecca said and ended the call with a cold look on her face.

≤ RICHARD’S STUDIO ≈ NEXT DAY ≥
“What are you doing here?” Richard asked Xiaomi when she arrived at his studio.
“Your question is kind of funny. You ask me to come here so that you’d hear me sing one of your songs”
“That was before your brother threaten me. I have a lot on my plate and I don’t want to add to it. I don’t want to be accused wrongly again”
“What are you trying to say? Who accused you wrongly? What happened to your face?” Xiaomi asked, trying to touch his face, but he held her hand.
“My life is none of your concern. Your brother is right, you should stay away from me. I’m not a good person”
“What did heck are you saying, Richard? You’re not a bad person? My brother is only being protective of me”
“That’s the more reason you should stay away from me. If you find out about what I did to my dad, you’re going to h@të me”
“I don’t understand”
“It’s better if you remain in the dark” Richard said, sniffling.
“Why are you crying? Did something happen?”
“It’s none of your business! Just go!” Richard yelled at her and Xiaomi flinched.
“You don’t have to shout at me, Richard. I’m leaving” Xiaomi said and turn to leave but stopped, and look at him.
“You shouldn’t have made a promise you can’t keep, Richard. I’m sure my brother is not the only reason why you’re trying to avoid me. I thought that we could be more than friends because I admired you a lot, but I guess I went overboard” Xiaomi said and leaves the studio.
Richard sat down on the piano seat with a sad look on his face. He had a earful from his mom who called him a murderer again. The injury on his face was given to him by his mom.
He wiped his tears and slowly began to play the piano.
“You’re going to suffer alone if you keep hiding your pains with a smile, Richard” Earl said to him.
“I deserve the pains Earl. Xiaomi don’t have to know about the main reason why I don’t want to talk to her. I just use her brother as an excuse”
“Is it because of what your mom said to you earlier today?” Earl asked.
“She’s right, Earl. I killed my own dad, I don’t deserve anyone by my side. I became a teen soloist just to cover up my guilt. I don’t want to drag Xiaomi into my messed up life”
“But you like her, right?”
“That’s the more reason I should stay away from her. I don’t want anything bad to happen to her because of me. My mom is right, I’m a cursed child”
“You’re not a curse child, the incident that happened… ”
“I want to be alone, Earl. I will be spending the night here, so you can go home”
“Will you be okay here?”
“I will, Earl. My mom will get mad if she sees my face today again. I will go back home tomorrow”
“Take care, Richard”
Richard nodded his head and Earl left.
*Really? You will feature me in your song if I have a good voice? Don’t go back to your words, okay* Xiaomi’s voice echoes in his eyes, and he sighed sadly.
“I didn’t even get the chance to hear her voice. I’m a murderer, I don’t deserve to be around a pure soul like Xiaomi” He said, cleaning the tears in his eyes.
He took his songbook and began writing a song.

≤ BEATRICE’S HOUSE ≈ SAME DAY ≥
Xavier sat on the sofa watching a funny home video. He was all alone because Beatrice has gone on a date with Ethan.
Xiaomi entered the house sniffling and Xavier quickly rushed to her after seeing her tears.
“What’s wrong Xiaomi? Why are you crying?” He asked, and Xiaomi pushed him.
“The last time I checked, we are of the same age. I don’t meddle with your personal life, so why are meddling with mine? Do you necessary need to tell Richard to stay away from me!”
“It was just an empty threat. I didn’t know he was going to take it to heart”
“Well he did, Xavier!”
“Is that why you are crying? Don’t tell me you’re crying because of a boy?”
“What if I am?”
“Then it makes you stupid”
“Of course it sounds stupid to you because you have liked someone before” Xiaomi said.
“Aren’t we too young for that? If mom finds out that you already like a boy at fifteen, she’s going to be mad”
“Then go ahead and tell her, I don’t care! It’s not like liking a boy is a crime!” Xiaomi said and went to her room.
“Did he really fall for my threat, or he is just using it as an excuse to avoid Xiaomi? How do you even know you like someone?” Xavier muttered.

≤ LUCAS MANSION ≈ SAME DAY ≥
Kayla had a smile on her face as she looked at Xavier’s pictures online.
“It’s surprising he uploads his pictures on Instagram. I thought he was allergic to social media. Well he is good at taking pictures, it’s essential he takes pictures of himself too. He’s really a showoff, always showing off his dimples like it’d bring him cash” Kayla said and smiled.
She strolls down to the next picture and her heart melted instantly when she saw Xavier’s next picture. His hair was sticky wet and it almost covered his eyes and it made him look sëxy.
The more she stared at the picture, the more her heart race. Kayla quickly throw her phone away when she notice how her heart was beating.
“No Kayla, this wrong. You can’t have feelings for Xavier. You h@të boys just like how you h@të the devil, right? So let it remain that way. You have to avoid Xavier, he’s nothing but an agent sent by the devil. New Rule, avoid Xavier the best way you can” Kayla said, nodding her head.

≤ ADRIAN’S MANSION ≥
★ Dear Diary… My heart is filled with guilt, I can’t even look Kayla in the eyes like I used to. I feel so guilty. I want to tell her the truth so badly, but I am scared. I don’t want to go to Juvenile detention, what should I do?★
Isa covered her diary, allowing her tears to flow. A knock came on the door, and Isa quickly cleaned her tears.
“Come in”
Adrian entered the room and Isa came down from the bed and hugged him tightly.
“Dad”
“What’s wrong, Isa?” Adrian asked and Isa broke the hug.
“It’s nothing dad. I just missed you, you haven’t been home for a while now”
“Sorry about that Isa. I was just trying to avoid your mom and grandma. But I’m back home for you”
“Dad, am I a bad person?” Isa asked.
“Of course not, Isa. Why would you even think such?” Adrian asked, and Isa smiled.
“I was just curious. Did you get something for me?” She asked looking at the two shopping bags in his hands.
“Yes I did. I got a present for you and Kayla, but she’s not going to accept it from me. Can you give it to her under your name, tomorrow?”
“I will dad. Thanks for coming home” Isa said, hugging him again.
“If you are bothered about something, you can open up to me, Isa”
“I’m fine, dad” Isa muttered, hugging him tightly.

“Julianna is not here?” Lucas asked one of Julianna’s friend. He came to pick her up, only to find out she left.
“Yes. She left in a hurry after getting a call from someone. She looked nervous and scared when she left”
“Nervous and scared?” Lucas asked and she nodded her head.

≤ RESTAURANT ≈ SAME NIGHT ≥
Julianna quickly entered the VIP room inside the restaurant and sees Rebecca waiting for her.
“You said you will never call me again, so why are you doing it now after 15 years?” Julianna asked, shaking.
“Relax, I am not going to bite you. I just wanted to say hi” Rebecca said with a sly smile.
“What do you want from me? Why did you come back into my life again?”
“Because I kind of miss you” Rebecca said and laughed.
“You must be having the life you want now, right? I was so nice back then to have given you the opportunity to move from Dashie to Los Angeles, just so you could become an anchor. You’re even dating Lucas Tilley, Jane’s best friend”
“What do you want Rebecca? We already cut tiles a long time ago”
“The world is such a small world, isn’t it? Who would have thought you’d date Lucas one-day? How will Lucas react when he finds out that you’re the waitress who sedated Jane’s water and sent her clip video to Adrian fifteen years ago?”
