Kayla arrived at the playground and she sees Xavier sitting in one of the swings in the public playground.
“Where you able to talk to Isa last night?” She asked and Xavier stood up from the swing.
“Yes I did”
“What did she say? Did she tell you why she changed all of a sudden?” She asked.
“I think he’d be in a better position to tell you why Isa is misbehaving”
“Who?” Kayla asked again and Christian approached them.
“Hi Kayla” He said, waving at her with a smile on his face.
“I don’t think I have ever seen you before, so how do you know me?”
“You have lots of followers on your TikTok account, so why are you surprised that I know you?”
“Oh, I see. Do you know why Isa change all of a sudden?”
“I have to apologize to you both first before proceeding”
“Apologize? Why?”
“Do you remember the day you accused Xavier of stealing your phone? I was actually the one who snatch your phone from you”
“What!” Xavier and Kayla exclaimed at the same time.
“It was you? I got accused of being a thief, Christian” Xavier said.
“I didn’t mean for it to happen Xavier. It was just a coincidence that we were both wearing the same outfit that day. I’m a poor orphan and I needed money badly, stealing Kayla’s phone was the only idea that came to my mind, when I saw making a video at the mall few months ago. I wanted to apologize to you, but I couldn’t do it”
“So why are you apologizing to us now” Kayla asked.
“Because you both are friends with Dora and I like her” Christian said, grinning and Xavier smiled.
“Well it’s all the past and I’m sure you must have sold my phone. What’s more important is for me to know why Isa changed all of a sudden”
“She didn’t change, she’s just angry and her anger is making her do something she didn’t mean”
“Can you emphasize what you are saying right now?”
“Sure Xavier. On the night Isa waited for you to show up, she was almost R@PED” Christian said, and Kayla gasped in shock.
“Isa was almost R@PED?” She asked, feeling remorseful.
“Yeah. She’d have been R@PED if I didn’t stop them. Isa is angry because she thinks you took her love for you for granted”
“That’s not true. I’d have met up with her, but my mom was having a bad day, and after I consoled her, I forgot to read Isa’s message” Kayla said, sniffling.
“You should talk to her Kayla. Isa is a sweetheart and I’m sure she’s going to come back to her old self. Just like Christian has said, she’s just being consumed by anger” Xavier said and Kayla nodded her head, cleaning her tears.

≤ LUCAS’S MANSION ≈ SAME DAY ≥
“Mom” Kayla said and hugged Jane when she came back home, and Jane smiled
“Where have you been Kayla? I thought you’d be advertising Dior’s products since its weekend, but on arriving there,you weren’t at the company” Jane said, caressing her face.
“I met up with Xavier because he had something to tell me” Kayla answered.
“What’s your relationship with Xavier?”
“He’s my friend, Mom”
“Friend?”
“Yes Mom”
“I met Isa at the boutique today, and she told me Xavier is your boyfriend and that you are having s*x with him”
“That’s not true mom. Xavier and I are not together” Kayla said and Jane smiled at her.
“Do you think I’d believe a stranger over my daughter? I admit that I was shock when she said that, but on a second thought, I know you won’t break the promise you made me with me, that you weren’t going to have a relationship at a tender age”
“Actually mom, the truth is that I have a crush on Xavier. I don’t know how it’s started, but I have a crush on him”
“Really?”
“Yes, but it’s just a crush mom. I won’t allow it to get into my head. I’m more focused on my studies”
“I believe you Kayla. Thanks for opening up to me. You’re still very young and it’s proper for you to have a crush on someone or fell in love, but don’t let it get into your head like I did. When the right time comes, and you still like Xavier, I won’t stop you both from dating”
“Thanks mom”
“I should be the one thanking you for being a perfect daughter” Jane said and hugged Kayla. “I love you so much, Kayla”
“I love you too, mom. You’re the best” She said and Jane laughed, tightening her arms around her.

≤ ADRIAN’S MANSION ≈ SAM DAY ≥
Isa folded her legs against the other, as she sits on her bed, writing on her diary.
★ Dear Diary… For the past few days, I have done something terrible . I don’t know what has gotten into me. I feel so much anger inside of me, and it’s driving me crazy. What should I do? Should I just accept the fact that Kayla never valued the love I have for or? Or should I go back to Australia with my mom, since my dad wants a divorce? ★
Isa writes on her diary, sniffling. Adrian entered her room and she quickly clean the tears in her eyes, but Adrian saw her before she did that.
“Isa, why are you crying?” He asked sitting with her on the bed.
“It’s none of your business. You should have knocked before entering my room”
Adrian held her hands and Isa looked somewhere else.
“Isa wh@tëver is bothering you, you can talk to me about it, because I know this isn’t the Isadora I raised” Adrian said, caressing her face.
“Are you serious about divorcing my mom?” She asked in a low voice and Adrian slowly nodded his head.
“Does aunty Jane still loves you?”
“No she doesn’t. She loves someone else now” Adrian said, in a hurtful tone.
“Then why do you want to divorce my mom? It’s not like you and aunty Jane will reunite again”
“I don’t know Isa. If she hasn’t collide with my mom and make me believe that Jane left Dashie after I broke up with her, maybe I’d have the chance to be there for her when she needed me the most. But then again, I’m just looking for someone to pinned the blame on. It’s all my fault anyways, I didn’t believe the woman I claim to love, despite being the first person to touch her”Adrian said, cleaning his tears.
“I am sorry for the way I reacted last night, but please don’t divorce my mom. She loves you a lot and I’m sure you both can work this out. I don’t want to be a victim of a broken home” Isa said, crying.
Adrian cleaned her tears and hugged her. “That’s enough Isa, stop crying” He muttered, patting her.
Rebecca who has been listening to them from the door clenched her fists in rage.

≤ BEATRICE’S HOUSE ≥
Xavier sighed as he kept the last plate on the dinning table.
“Seriously, Xiaomi? You won’t help it out here?” He asked.
“Just let your twin sister be, Xavier. She practicing her vocals, don’t you want Richard Lawson to feature her in his new song?” Beatrice asked
“Richard is definitely going to faint if he hears your snake voice”
“Say wh@tëver you want, Xavier. The entire chores will be done by you” Xiaomi said and stick out her tongue for him.
Xavier was about going to where Xiaomi was sitting, when the doorbell rang.
“Leave your sister alone and get the door” Beatrice said and Xavier frowned his face before going to the door.
“Grandma!” He exclaimed in excitement when he opened the door and sees it was his grandma.
Xiaomi also left what she was doing and jumped on her, and Grandma Jojo laugh.
“Did my beautiful twins miss me so much?” She asked, smiling.
“Yes we do. I have been expecting your visit for a very long time”
“Same here Grandma”
Xavier and Xiaomi said, clinging on her and she laughed.
“It’s so good to see you again, mom” Beatrice said and Grandma Jojo smiled at her.

“So you’re dating someone?” Grandma Jojo asked. The twins were already sleeping.
“Yes I do. Ethan loves me so much” Beatrice said, smiling.
“Does he know about the kids?”
“Yes he does, and he treats them like his own kids”
“I can see from the way you look now, Beatrice. He’s definitely taking care of you”
“Yes he is. I’m so lucky to have him Mom. I’d thought my life will be over when I birthed both Xavier and Xiaomi”
“Does he know about your R@PE case?” Grandma Jojo asked, and Beatrice shakes her head.
“Why haven’t you told him, Beatrice? Didn’t he ask about the father of the twins?”
“He did, but I lied to him that I got married at a very young age and that my husband died at a young age. That’s what I told Xavier and Xiaomi anyways, it’s better they don’t know they’re products of R@PE”
“I think it’s time we tell them the truth, including Ethan too”
“And what am I going to tell them, mom? That I got drug and I got R@PED and after that, I was dumped on the road side. You already know heartbroken I was after I woke up and find out that I was R@PED, and to add to my dilemma, I got pregnant” Beatrice said in a painful voice.
“I know how painful it was for you, Beatrice, but nothing can be hidden under the sun forever. The twins and Ethan needs to know the truth” Grandma Jojo said, and Beatrice blinks back her tears, hurtfully.

≤ THE STARS ACADEMY ≈ NEXT DAY ≥
Isa entered the library and sees Kayla sitting in one of the chairs inside the library, she wanted to leave, but Kayla quickly approach her.
“Isa”
“What do you want?” Isa asked.
“I know you’re mad at me, but you shouldn’t have lied to my mom. Why on earth did you have to lie about Xavier and I?”
“Because I wanted to make you see how it feels to be accused, but unfortunately your mom believes in you, and it ruined all my plans”
“Isa… ”
“Don’t touch me, Kayla!”
“I already why you’re mad at me. Christian told me everything”
“How did you know Christian?”
“It doesn’t matter how I knew him, Isa. I’m sorry you almost got R@PE”
“Why didn’t you show up Kayla? I waited for you, but you never came! Did you know how scared I was thinking I was going to be R@PED at a young age? If not for Christian I’d have been a victim of R@PE. I was angry and I wanted to make you feel the pains you caused me, but my weak heart keeps having a conscience!!!” Isa shouted at her, crying.
“I’m so sorry Isa” Kayla said, remorsefully.
“Stop saying sorry Kayla! I know you don’t value our friendship because I don’t vibe like Xiaomi do. I’m always the one who tries to get close to you. You always take me for granted, like I’m nothing especially to you”
“That’s not true, Isa, you’re my sister and I cared about you a lot, and even if you were not my sister, I still care about you. Believe me when I said I didn’t read your message. I was about doing so, when I saw my mom crying, and after console her I forgot to read your message. I’m sorry for not believing you, I’m sorry for speaking you to you harshly. We are sister and we shouldn’t be against each other. I promise I’m going to value your friendship from now on. I’m sorry sorry, Isa” Kayla said crying.
“I’m sorry as well, Kayla. I regret everything I did. I was out of control because I wa angry. I realized that no matter what I do, I can’t change my quite, soft and timid self. I’m sorry for leaving you in the rain and for lying against you”
Kayla hugged, sniffling back her tears. “I should be the one apologizing to you a thousand times. I promise I am going to be a good friend and a good sister to you Isa” Kayla said and Isa cried silently, hugging Kayla as well.

≤ J•K•L HOSPITAL ≈ SAME DAY ≥
“What brings you here, Adrian?” Lucas asked when he entered his office and sees Adrian waiting for him.
“Can we have a proper talk as friends?” Adrian asked with a smile on his face.

“You want to divorce, Debra?” Lucas asked, few minutes later, and Adrian smiled lightly.
“I was planning on doing so, but not anymore”
“Why?”
“For Isa’s sake. I love Isa so much, and I don’t want her to be a victim of a broken home. I love both my daughters so much, and even if I love Jane a lot, I think I should let her go. With everything I have done to her, she deserves someone else and not me”
“I’m sorry you and Jane ended up like this” Lucas said and Adrian smiled.
“You don’t have to be sorry Lucas. I guess not all love story have a happy ending. Debra is a nice woman, and I don’t want to turn her into a monster. How about Julianna, any words from her”
“Not yet, Grace is still looking for her, once we find her, everything will be settled”
“If you need my help, don’t hesitate to call me. I’m still your friend, right?” Adrian asked, and Lucas smiled.
“Of course, worm head. Come to think of it, you’re the only male friend I had. I was just angry for what you did to Jane. You were so stupid” He said and Adrian chuckled.
“You should tell Jane the truth”
“What truth?” Lucas asked.
“About your love for her. I have always known you love Jane romantically, but I just choose to turn a blind eye to it. You hid your feelings from her because she was in love with me and you wanted her to be happy. You’re the only man in Jane’s life, and I’m sure you’re the one she loves now. You understand her more than I do, Jane needs to be with a man who loves and trust her and that person is you. It’s time to come clean about your true feelings, I’m going to root for the both of you”
“Thanks, Adrian” He said and Adrian beamed a smile at him.

Julianna is seen banging the door, while Roseline and Stephanie looked at her.
“Get me out of this place, I don’t belong here!!!”
“You’re just wasting your time, Julianna. It’s Rebecca we’re dealing with, she has lots of men working for her” Stephanie said
“Are you trying to say you both we live in this locked up room for the rest of your lives?”
“I have been here for 15 years without getting a chance to see my daughter and granddaughter” Roseline said.
“I have been here after I helped Rebecca explode Jane’s company” Stephanie said.
“You were the one who explode Jane’s company”
“I was just following Rebecca’s orders because I needed a way to become an actress, but she stabbed at the back, and I regret working for her. What about you, Julianna? What business did you have with Rebecca?” Stephanie asked while Roseline looked at her.
“I helped her separate Jane and Adrian years ago”
“You were the one who sedated my daughter?” Roseline asked.
“I was desperate and that’s why I did that, and because of how desperate I was to be with Lucas, I almost killed Kayla”
“Wow, you did a bigger crime than me, Julianna” Stephanie said, smiling.
“Well there’s more”
“Which is?” Roseline asked.
“After I left Dashie fifteen years ago, Rebecca called me to come back to Dashie and carry out a mission for her, but I declined. Rebecca thought I didn’t push through with it, but I did”
“And what’s this mission about?” Stephanie asked.
“It’s Kayla” Julianna said.
“What is it about my granddaughter?” Roseline asked.
“She’s not Jane and Adrian’s daughter. I exchanged her with another baby, because that’s what Rebecca wanted. Kayla is not the daughter of Jane and Adrian. The child Jane had fifteen years ago was a baby boy” Julianna said, dropping the bombshell.
