Immediately Felony entered the house,everyone stood still,staring at her like she d!ed and just resurrected.
“Big sis!” Ava ran and hugged,shedding tears instantly.
She broke from the hug,and started checking her out.
“Are you alright? Where were you yesterday,you got all of us worried” she said and hugged her again.
Felony hugged her too,lovingly.
“I am fine,sis. Big sis just needed to be alone yesterday,that was why I ignored your calls and switched my phone off.
“I wasn’t planning to commit suicide nor do anything stupid” Felony said.
“I understand,big sis. I love you,and I really missed you yesterday” Ava said.
“I did too,really really did.
“You know I can’t trade you for anything. I can’t trade any of you for anything” she added.
Colton doesn’t even know what to say or do at that moment.
He was just staring at his daughter with no words coming out of his mouth.
He knows his daughter is a strong headed girl right from small,but he had no idea how strong and enduring she could be.
Despite the pains and sorrows she passed through while he was in jail.
She was strong enough to endure them,and still acted like nothing happened,until yesterday when she couldn’t hold back the pains anymore.
“Dad…” she said and hugged Colton who still couldn’t utter a word.
He’s even somehow scared of her daughter. The fact that she’s a Mafia,like,it’s just so crazy.
“You got your mom,sister and I worried,princess. We couldn’t sleep all night” he finally spoke.
“I’m sorry dad,I just couldn’t control myself yesterday,so I had to run out” she said.
“Shhh…stop saying you’re sorry. Your mom and I are the ones that should be saying sorry,not you” Colton said.
“It’s nobody’s fault,dad. I guess everything was destined to happen” Felony said.
“Destined or not,this is all because of me. I don’t deserve to be called your mother.
“I’m a bad mom”Rose said.
Felony left her dad,and hugged her mom this time.
“You’re my mother,and will always be till eternity.
“I am your flesh and blood,and nothing can change that,not even the blames you put on yourself.
“Stop blaming yourself,mom. If you don’t want me to run away and never come back”Felony said.
Rose gave a loud cry,sniffling and crying like a baby.
“I love you,mom. And the love is eternal,no one can take that love away” Felony said.
Rose increased the cry on hearing that.
“d@mn it,mom! And I thought Ava was the only crybaby here. You even cry more than her”Felony said,and everyone started laughing,including Rose who was crying.
“I am not only crying,my baby. But they are also big tears of joy. You have forgiven me,do you know how much that means to me?
“It’s the best feeling a mother can get. I love you so much,baby.
“I love you all so much,my sources of happiness” Rose smiled.
Ava and her dad joined in the hug.
“We love you too” they all said to Rose,then broke from the hug.
“I need to call the police,where’s my phone?” Colton said.
“What do we need the police for?” Felony asked.
“To arrest and jail Jerry of course” Colton said.
“That won’t be necessary,dad” Felony replied.
Rose and Colton looked at each other like….is she being serious right now?
“Why isn’t it necessary,he needs to be taught a lesson he will never forget” Rose said.
“I have handled that already” Felony said.
“What are you saying?” Colton asked.
“Don’t worry about that,mom and dad. Trust me when I say I have handled him” Felony smiled,Ava smiled too,knowing what she’s talking about.
“Wait,did you ki…..
“I didn’t k!ll anyone,I only sent him somewhere” Felony cut him off.
Ava smiled and shook her head.
Felony said the same thing she said to Ava when Ava asked her about Carla and Ivy.
Colton scratched his head, and stared at his daughter,without knowing what to say.
“Now,where’s my granddaughter?” Rose broke the sudden silence.
“She’s at the orphanage” she replied.
“Orpha…what!? How can my grandchild be living at the orphanage when I have more than enough?” Colton spoke,with widened eyes.
“I’m sorry,dad. But I was left with no choice”Felony replied.
“When last did you visit her?”Colton asked,keenly.
“I…I can’t remember” She stuttered.
“Whitney!!”her dad shouted.
“Dad! Please,not now. I’ll be going to the orphanage tomorrow,to get her out of there”Felony sighed.
Colton sighed too.
“Okay,princess. But I am not happy with this,I don’t like the fact that,my granddaughter is living in the orphanage when I am not poor” Colton said.
“I know,dad. I am not happy either” Felony said.
“I can’t believe I’m a grandfather” Colton said.
“I can’t believe I’m a grandmother. I’m just imagining her right now,running around the whole house,and calling me grandma.
“Jumping on my body,and scattering the whole house. I can’t wait to meet her” Rose said,excitedly.
She’s so happy that she cannot even explain how she feels.
Her daughter has forgiven her sn easily,she wasn’t even expecting it so soon.
“I can’t believe I have a niece,and I’m actually an aunt.
“This is the best feeling ever!” Ava screamed.
“Big baby”Felony chuckled.
“Well,I’m the baby of the house,yunno. So..”Ava said,and they all chuckled.
“Let’s see if you’ll still be the baby of the house when Royalty comes”Felony rolled eyes.
“Until then,I am still the baby of the house. So,start spoiling me more than you were,before my niece comes”Ava said,and everyone started laughing.
“What’s for breakfast,please? I am so hungry”Felony said.
“Miss Meg…! Please set the table,my baby is hungry”Rose said to Meg,one of the maids.
Meg is an elderly woman,and head of the maids.
She’s actually the one Felony was referring to as mom,when she and Ava made shepherd’s pie then.
When she said mom makes the best shepherd’s pie. She was actually referring to Meg.
Meg is a diligent and a hardworking woman. Felony just likes her,and always preferred calling her mom.
“Mom…what about me,am I not your baby anymore?” Ava asked jealously,pouting.
“Shhh! Don’t make my baby choke,lower the volume” Rose said,placing her pointer finger on her lips.
“Noo….my mummy has been taken away from me by my big sister. I.need justice…!!” Ava screamed jokingly,and they all bursted out laughing.
