“Erm… Can you please stop bowing down to me? It’s feels odd” Valerie said to Alex.
“I don’t think I can do that” Alex said.
“Then I’ll start bowing down to you too” Valerie said.
Alex looked at her and chuckled.
“Okay fine, I’ll do that” he said.
“Where do you think he’s taking me to? To kill me?” Valerie asked.
Alex laughed.
“The Boss wouldn’t do that, be rest assured” he laughed.
“She’s here” Alex said when they got to Fernando.
Valerie suddenly felt shy seeing him, her mind drifted to their lovemaking last night.
“Valerie, it’s s*x not lovemaking. S*x, he only Füçked you” she corrected herself.
She bit her lips.
“You can go” Fernando said to Alex.
“Huh? I have to drive you, you can’t go alone” Alex protested.

“Are you going to keep staring that way?” Fernando asked, jolting Valerie back to reality.

“Get in” he said.
“Where are we going?” She asked.
“Stop asking questions and get in” he said.
Valerie rolled her eyes before moving closer to the car. Fernando went to the other side and sha stared at him not taking a move.
“Why aren’t you going in?” He asked.
Valerie scoffed. She actually thought he was going to open the car door for her like every other guy in movie does.
“What are you thinking? He’s different, Valerie, very different” her subconsciousness spoke.
Valerie entered the car, banging the car door loudly.
“Heartless prick” she mumbled under her breath.
“You don’t have to remind me” Fernando said beside her.
Valerie stared at him in surprise. Did she said that aloud?
“I’m sorry” she mumbled.
Fernando switch on the ignition before driving out of the clan.
“Er… About yesterday, I promise to avoid Andres from now on” Valerie said breaking the silence in the car ever since they left the clan.
Fernando didn’t glance at her nor say a word.
MINUTES LATER***
“Where is this place?” Valerie asked as Fernando stopped his car in front of a huge complex.
“Don’t you think you need to have your own clothes?” Fernando asked back.
Valerie stare at him in surprise, did he brought her here to buy her dresses?
They got down from the car and entered the complex.
Valerie wowed, seeing different dresses on display.
A lady walked to them and bowed her head.
“Good afternoon, sir. It’s so nice to see you here” she said.
Valerie scoffed inwardly. He must have brought a lot of women here.
“Do you need clothes for your girlfriend?” She asked.
“I’m not…” Valerie tried speaking.
“Yea, you know what to do” Fernando said.
“Sure, please follow me” the lady said to Valerie.
Valerie stare at Fernando.
“Where is she taking me to?” Valerie asked.
“Just follow her” Fernando said.
“Ma’am?”
Valerie faced the lady and faked a smile before following her to a room.

RED’S CLAN***
“Alex!!”
Alex stopped walking, he turned to see Andres approaching him.
“Have you seen Valerie?” Andres asked.
“Why?” Alex raised a brow.
“I just want to apologize to her, what I did yesterday was uncalled for” Andres said.
“Good you know. Well, Boss lady is not around, she went out with Boss”
“Huh? Where?” Andres asked.
“Boss didn’t say”
“Okay, thanks” Andres smiled at him before walking away.
Alex was about to walk away when three cars suddenly drove into the clan.
Different men came out of the car, Alex creased his brow wondering who dares enter the clan.
He was about to go to them when a man came out of the car. His eyes went wide.
“Don!” He shouted. He quickly ran to him.
“Welcome, Don” he bowed his head.
“Where’s Fernando?” Don asked.
“Well, he….” Alex bit his lips. How would he tell the Don that Fernando went out with a woman?
“He went out but will be back soon” Andres said behind him.
“Andres, it’s been long, is everything okay with the clan?”
“Yes” Andres replied beside him.
“This way” Andres led him inside with his men trailing behind him
“Call Fernando” Andres turned to Alex and mouthed at him.
Alex nodded immediately and brought out his phone.

Valerie came out of the dressing room with a smile on her lips. She’s putting on a red flair gown, she’s looking so hot in it.
“How’s it?” She asked Fernando.
Fernando looked at her for a while.
“I don’t like it, try another one” he said.
“Huh? Ferdie!!” Valerie shouted. She huffed before going back to the dressing room.
“Ferdie?” Fernando mumbled, remembering that was what she called him last night.
Valerie returned, this time, she’s putting on a black crop top with a black bumshort. A jacket is around her giving her the bad girl vibe.
“Yea, I love this. Next” Fernando said.
This went on for a very long time till Valerie felt exhausted.
She slumped next to him on the chair.
“I’m so tired and my body feels numb” she groaned out.
Fernando smiled gently. He faced the attendant.
“I’ll take all the dresses she tried on except the first dress” he said.
Valerie faced him in shock.
“What? That’s a lot of money!” She exclaimed.
“Do that now” Fernando said to the attendant.
The attendant smiled before doing as he said.
Fernando paid and they both left the place.
“You really don’t have to spend much, the clothes are so much!” Valerie complained immediately the clothes were placed in the car by the attendants.
Fernando picked his phone in his car, he took the other one in so he missed Alex’s call.
“Why is he calling?” He dial Alex’s number and he picked it immediately.
“Boss! I’ve been trying your number” Alex said.
“What is it?”
“Don is here and is asking of you”
“What!”
“You need to be here and make sure he doesn’t see Boss lady” Alex said.
Fernando hanged up and starts the car, he drive out of the place roughly.
“Is something wrong?” Valerie asked, seeing how tensed he is.
“Make sure you stay inside the car for a while when we get to the clan” Fernando said.
“Huh? Why?” Valerie asked.
Fernando ignored her till they got to the clan. He parked his car and was about to climb down when Valerie held his hand.
“What do you mean I shouldn’t come out of the car? You aren’t replying me” Valerie questioned.
“Just do as I say” he removed her hand and got down from the car.
“Don’t come out for now, Val” he mumbled before leaving.
Valerie stare at his back, confused on what he’s saying.
“Gosh! He just keep confusing me” she Mõ@ned, resting her back on the chair.

“Where are you coming from? Is this how you go about without your men? And you call yourself a Mafia?” Don asked immediately Fernando entered.
“Good afternoon” Fernando bowed his head.
“You haven’t answered me, where are you coming from?” Don asked in a cold voice.
“I… I went to visit my parent’s grave” Fernando lied.
The Don’s face softened when he heard that.
“You really have to be careful, Fernando. Arturo is surely on his moves, what if you got into any danger?”
“I can defend myself” Fernando said.
Don walked closer to him and held his shoulder.
“What did I use to tell you?” He asked.
“Make sure I never get soft and….” Fernando trailed off.
“And what?”
“Not to fall in love” he completed.
“Good. I’m back now and I’m going to make sure Arturo never go scot free this time around” Don said.
A figure stood at the door, eavesdropping on their conversation. Immediately he heard the sounds of footstep coming close, he quickly left there before they could notice him.
