CHLOE’S ROOM***
“You haven’t been going out of the room for sometime now, is everything okay with you?” Anna asked Chloe.
Ever since Fernando shouted at her and almost shot her with the gun, she’s been staying indoor.
Even when she heard that he’s back, she didn’t even bothered to go out.
“Like you care” she rolled her eyes.
“I care about you, but I get pissed off whenever you act like a bìtch” Anna said.
“That’s because Fernando placed me aside when she arrived here. I so h@të her so much” Chloe said.
“To the extent that you feel like killing her?” Anna asked.
Chloe chuckled.
“Do I look that desperate to you?” She asked.
“Well yeah, you’re obsessed with the Boss, and it’s high time you stop this obsession before you get more hurt that this” Anna said.
Ivy entered the room and quickly rushed to them.
“Care to know who’s right here in the clan?” She asked.
Anna looks at her curiously while Chloe acted nonchalantly. That’s the least of her problem right now.
“What?” Anna said.
“Boss’s mother is right here in the clan!” She snapped her fingers.
That caught Chloe’s attention and she sprang up immediately.
“What?!” She yelled.
“I thought you weren’t bothered before” Ivy chuckled.
“What did you just say? Fernando’s mom is here in the clan?”
Ivy nodded.
“I overhead Don’s men talking about it among themselves, I think no one is aware about it yet” she said.
Chloe smiled.
“I can use her to get to Fernando” she mumbled to herself but Anna clearly held her.
She looked at her as though she’s gone mad.
“You’re crazily obsessed, Chloe” she mumbled to herself.

NEXT DAY***
BELLA’S ROOM***
Bella stared into space sadly, Fernando never came back to her last night.
“He’s mad at me” she mumbled to herself slowly.
The door opened and Chloe entered, she flashed a pretty smile at her.
“Good morning, ma’am” she said.
Bella stared at her, not saying a word. She doesn’t even know who she is.
“I’m Chloe, Fernando’s friend” Chloe introduced herself.
“Did my Ferdie sent you to me?” Isabella quickly asked.
“Huh?”
Isabella looked away disappointed.
“I guess he didn’t” she muttered.
Chloe went to sit beside her.
“Can I call you mom?” She suddenly said.
Isabella stared at her in surprise
“I’m Fernando’s friend so it’s not bad calling you mom, right?” Chloe said.
“I don’t think there’s a need for that, and if you’ll excuse me, I’m not in the mood for any conversation” Isabella said.
Chloe frowned.
“I mean no harm, I just…”
Valerie entered at that moment, a deep frown formed on her face when she saw Chloe with Isabella.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“I should be asking you that” Chloe fired back at her.
“Ferdie sent me here, and you?” Valerie lied. Truth be told, she hadn’t seen Fernando after he left her hanging in his room.
She’s supposed to be mad at him but she couldn’t help but to get worried when he didn’t returned last night.
That was why she asked Camila if she knows where Isabella’s room is.
“Dear, how’s your health now?” Isabella asked.
Valerie smiled and went to sit beside her.
“I’m fine now, mom” she muttered.
Chloe almost burst out in anger when she heard Valerie calling Isabella ‘mom’.
“Why are you calling her mom? You don’t have any right to!” She half yells.
“Can you excuse us? I’ll like to speak with her alone” Isabella said.
Chloe bits her lips hardly before putting on a fake smile.
“I will, mom” she glare at Valerie before going out of the room.
“What’s she doing here? And calling you mom?” Valerie asked Isabella.
“I don’t know but she claims to be Ferdie’s friend”
Valerie scoffed inwardly.
“That bìtch” she mumbled.
“So, how’s your baby? Is he okay? He didn’t get hurt did he?” Isabella asked worriedly.
“They are fine” Valerie smiled.
“They? Are you carrying twins?”
“No, but I want twins even though Ferdie insists babies are trouble” Valerie chuckled.
“Ferdie? Are you carrying his baby?” Isabella asked.
“Yes, I’m carrying Ferd’s baby”
“Oh my God! That’s great! I’ve always wanted you both for each other since you were kids. Ferdie really loved you then, always talking about you” Isabella said happily.
“You know I’m Lola?” Valerie asked in surprise. Did Fernando actually told her that?
“Yes, your Dad told me that” Isabella said.
“My Dad?”
“Hmm… It’s high time you forgive me. Trust me, Donald loves you more that you think” Isabella said softly.
She wouldn’t lie that Valerie’s presence has brighten her mood.

CAMILA’S ROOM***
Jade laid down on the bed sulkily, she’s been that way ever since she left Alex’s room yesterday.
He didn’t even bothered to see or talk to her and that hurts her a lot.
“That jerk! After I stayed with him when he was unconscious, is this how he’s going to pay me back?” She muttered to herself.
“Who?” Camila asked beside her.
Jade suddenly sat up and screamed loudly.
“Arghhhh!!! Why did I tell him that? How will he see me now?” She screamed.
Camila touched her chest which was thudding loud.
“Jeez, you scared me. What has suddenly come over you? Who’s he? And what did you tell him?” She asked curiously.
“I so h@të myself right now” Jade lies down back on the bed and covered her face with the pillow.
“Aren’t you gonna say anything?” Camila asked but there was no response.
“Fine, keep ignoring me all you want. But don’t expect me to console you when you come back to me in tears” she said.
Jade removed the pillow and looked at her.
“It’s not gonna end in tears!” She shouted.
Camila laughed.
“Now you recognize my presence” she said.
“Tch! Just go away” Jade muttered.
“Should we take a stroll?” Camila suggested.
“I don’t feel like” Jade mumbled.
“Then, I’m going alone” Camila walked to the door.
“Wait for me!” Jade yelled as she got down from the bed.
Camila laughed and they both went out of the room.

They were taking a stroll when they saw almost like fifty men, looking so determined as if they were going to a war.
“What’s going on?” Camila wondered.
Luckily for them, they saw Anna walking past them, Camila held her hand and stopped her.
“What’s going on? What’s with the boys?” She asked.
“You don’t know what’s going on?” Anna asked in surprise.
Camila shook her head cluelessly.
“Boss is going to fight with Arturo. Don is also going, they’ve been at it since yesterday” Anna said.
“What?” Jade stuttered.
“Is Alex going along?” She asked.
“Why won’t he? Almost everyone is going, except the girls tho, according to Boss’s order” Anna said.
“Why wasn’t I awa…” Camila was still saying when she realized Jade wasn’t beside her anymore.
“Where did she go?”

“Are you ready?” Fernando asked, looking at his men.
“Yes Boss!” They chorused.
He faced Alex.
“Where are the others?” He asked.
“Outside” Alex replied.
“Good” Fernando said.
Valerie bursts in looking so scared, she ran to Fernando’s side.
“Don’t go please.i don’t want to lose you”she pleaded, staring at his blue eyes.
Fernando signalled his men to excuse them with his eyes, they left and he faced Valerie when they are alone.
“Val I will be back, okay” he smiled assuredly at her
Valerie broke into tears
“Don’t go, Ferdie it’s dangerous, please”she sobbed.
Fernando cupped her cheeks, wiping her tears away,
“You look cute while in tears”he teased
Valerie slapped his hand away
“Be serious, I… I don’t wanna lose you, you devil”
Fernando smiled before pulling her to a hug.
“I will be back for you, for us and for our baby” he muttered
Valerie wrapped her arms around him tightly.
“You must fulfill your promise, come back for us, okay?”
Fernando nodded. He broke the hug and kisses her deeply.
“I love you, Val” he muffled against her lips.
Valerie quickly disengaged from the kiss and stared at him in surprise.
Did he just said the three magical words to her??
“I love you so much and I’ll be back. Don’t cry anymore” he kissed her forehead and left the room in a hurry.
Valerie’s hand went to her lips, her eyes still wide in shock.
“I love you, Val” his words kept ringing in her head.
“I love you too. Make sure you come back to me safe” she whispered to herself.
She don’t know why, a part of her feels as is that’ll be the last time she’ll be seeing, that he won’t he able to fulfill his promise
