The next day, Cinderella woke up early, brushed her teeth, and walked out of the room.
She headed towards the kitchen, when she got there, she met Fiona there.
“What are you doing here so early?”Cinderella asked
“What are you trying to say? I don’t use to wake up early before, “Fiona asked.
“No! I don’t mean it that way; I’m just curious what you are doing in the kitchen. This is unlike you.
“Have never seen you in the kitchen before?” Cinderella said
“Oh, about that! I was asked to prepare breakfast for them, “Fiona said.
“Break what?”Cinderella asked
“Fast, “Fiona replied with a smile.
“Don’t you tell them you can’t cook?”Cinderella asked
“I did, but they said I was trying to dodge the work, and I want to show them my skills.” Fiona said
“What are you doing here as well?” Fiona asked
“As their nanny, I’m in charge of their food. Cinderella said
“Oh, bad combination.
“You can’t cook as well.” Fiona said
“Why are you talking as if you can?”Cinderella said annoyingly
“Come on! Let’s make something for them; we don’t have much time, “Cinderella said.
“What are we preparing them for?”Fiona asked
“I don’t know! Why don’t we make toast, bread, and tea for them?” Cinderella suggested
“Can you make that?”Fiona asked
“What’s there is just bread, fish, butter, and other ingredients.
“We will just add everything to the bread and put it inside the toasting machine, “Cinderella said.
“And I can also make there tea, “Fiona said.
Cinderella brought out the ingredients she would need for the toast bread while Fiona was making tea.
When Cinderella was done putting all the ingredients in the bread, she arranged them inside the toasting machine and turned it on.
Fiona, on the other hand, put salt inside tea instead of sugar since they were both placed in the same place.
“I’m done with the tea, “Fiona said, and she walked out to arrange the dining.
Cinderella has forgotten that she was making bread.
Fiona entered and turned off the machine.
“Where are you?” Fiona asked
“I’m here, “Cinderella replied.
“No! You aren’t here; your body isn’t here, not your mind.
“Let’s check the bread. I hope you haven’t burned everything. Fiona said
Cinderella opened the machine, and they both moved back due to the smoke that came out of it.
“What’s this? “Fiona asked
Toast bread, “Cinderella replied.
“Don’t you think they are burned?” Fiona asked
“They are not burnt but brown, “Cinderella replied, and she served the breads.
She took it to the dining room. “Everything is set, “she said, smiling happily.
“I can’t believe I know how to cook. She said and took her seat.
“Won’t you go and wake them up?”Fiona asked
“Why ? Cinderella asked
“They should eat before you do, “Fiona said.
Cinderella stood up and knocked on their door.
They all walked out, except Theo.
“Do I need to enter before you wake up?” Cinderella asked, standing in front of his door.
“Theo walked with a towel around his neck.
“Move out of my way! Theo said, going towards the dining
They all took their seats, and Cinderella opened the toast bread.
They all screamed when they saw it.
“What’s this?”Cole asked
“Toast bread, I make it, “Cinderella said proudly.
The boys look at one another.
“Are you sure this is toast bread?” Jaxton asked
“Are you trying to poison us?”Theo asked
“I woke up early to prepare food for you guys, and you are saying this,”Cinderella said sadly.
“We don’t mean that “we are just trying to confirm if it is toast bread like you said because it doesn’t look like one, “Cyrus said.
Jaxton took the bread and took a bite. Others looked at his face to confirm if they were ready to eat it.
Jaxton smiles and nods his head at them.
“It must be really delicious for you to be smiling this way, “Cyrus said, and he also took a bite.
“Delicious!” Cyrus said, controlling himself from vomiting.
Theo and Cole also took a bite of their food.
“They all split it out and drank their tea.
“They splinted out the tea as well, making a mess of the dining room.
“What the hell?”Theo asked
“What do you mean?”Cinderella asked
“Too much salt, too much seasoning and the worst part, you added salt inside the tea! “Theo shouted and stood up from the dining room.
“Salt ?” Fiona asked and took a sip of the tea.
“She split it on Cyrus body.
“Oh my God! Cyrus said this and stood up.
Fiona stared at him blankly.
“Is the tea hot? Why do you shout? Fiona asked Instead of saying sorry
“Don’t you see you split tea on my body?” Cyrus asked
“That was why I asked, If the tea is hot, not like your body is burning, “Fiona said, not accepting her mistake.
“They all left the dining room angry except Jaxton, who finished one toast of bread out of his
“Why did they all left?” Fiona said and ate from the bread.
“You are really horrible at cooking.” Fiona said
“I can’t eat it; my health is important. Cinderella said and walked away from the dining room.
★Theo’s room★
He walked out of his bathroom. “She is really bad at cooking.
“I don’t think she is good at anything, “Theo said.
“Why do I feel somehow connected to it? Why do I feel like we have met before? Who is Arielle? Why do I feel attached to her name despite the fact that I can’t remember her face?”Theo thought
He picked up the picture that contains all of them and the little girl.
“Who is she? Why can’t we remember her? We seem to be close, but none of us remember her, “Theo said.
He dropped the picture and walked out.
He met Cinderella at the swimming pool.
She wasn’t close to the water, and the way she was staring at it
She was shaking in fear. “Why do I feel scared whenever I see a pool?
“Have I drowned before? Has something bad happened to me in the past?
“What could be the reason for these fears?”Cinderella thought
Cinderella was so lost in thought that she didn’t know that someone was behind her.
The person was wearing a black hoodie with a mask that covered her face.
When Theo looked at Cinderella’s sides, he saw the person trying to push her into the pool.
He ignored it, but when he saw the way the person was dressed, he sensed that the person was up to no good.
Before he could take any action or say anything the person has already pushed Cinderella into the pool
And ran away when she saw Theo running towards her.
Cinderella started struggling with the water, having difficulty breathing.
Theo ran after the person with the aim of catching her. When he couldn’t catch up, he returned back to the pool.
His heart stopped beating for a while when he saw Cinderella floating on the water.
He jumped into the pool without thinking twice.
He swam towards her and pulled to himself.
He swam out of the pool and laid her towards it. Besides the pool, he started to perform CPR for her.
But she isn’t breathing. You have to wake up.” Theo said crazily.
“Wake up, Arielle!” Theo shouted
Jaxton and others ran out when they heard his voice.
“What happened?” Jaxton asked
“Do you push her into the pool?” Jaxton asked
“I wasn’t the one.” Theo yelled angrily.
“How can we believe that? Jaxton asked and pushed Theo away from Cinderella’s body.
“I don’t have time for this,”Theo said, trying to go back to where Cinderella was lying.
“Don’t you dare touch her?” Jaxton said
“You guys should stop this madness. “She will die if you continue doing this, Cole said.
Theo stared daggers at Jaxton before moving closer to Cinderella.
He squatted in front of her and performed a mouth-to-mouth resurrection.
After for some second, Cinderella coughed out water.
Theo pats her from the back.
When Cinderella feels a little better, she looks at Theo in tears.
Why did you do that?” Cinderella mumbled
