” This is the price Kiara has to pay ” Cora added and Skylar stepped back, so she can’t do anything to help her sister ?
She can only watch Kiara suffer continuously, this isn’t fair ? How can fate be so cruel towards Kiara ?
“There’s one thing, you can do ” Levi said and Skylar looked up immediately ” what is it ?” Skylar asked as she is willing to do anything for Kiara.
“Make her experience the joy of living, spend more time with her now you have the chance, the battle is fast approaching, you-all needs Kiara’s protection” Levi said.
” Levi, why do I feel like you’re leaving again ” Skylar said and Levi smiled as he patted her head gently.
” Skylar is all grown up ” Levi said and Skylar slapped him ” you can’t leave again Levi, you can’t leave me here alone ” Skylar cried
“I’ll do everything to bring your memories back, I just need time ” Skylar added and Levi chuckled. It seems like Skylar is in fun of slapping him.
” Tch, don’t cry Skylar, Hadley will kill me if I don’t go back, not that she can kill me for real but I need to do my tasks ” Levi said.
” You know Hadley ?” Skylar asked and Levi nodded ” so Kiara is safe around that witch ?” Skylar asked as Levi wipe her tears.
” Who are you calling a witch ?” Hadley asked coldly as she suddenly stepped out of the shadows, Skylar hissed and Levi almost fainted as Hadley glare at him.
” Sky, I’ll get punished if you get her upset” Levi whispered ” so ?” Skylar asked and Levi gasp in shock.
” You h@të me so much ?” Levi asked and Ashley laughed ” I’m Ashley nice to meet you again ” Ashley said and Levi knock her head
“Pervert ” Skylar cursed and Levi chuckled ” don’t worry baby, I only belong to you ” Levi whispered and Skylar rolled her eyes.
” Are you jealous sky ?” Levi asked and Ashley giggled ” I can see she loves you alot ” Ashley replied before clapping.
” Where’s Kiara ” Skylar asked as she looked around but Kiara wasn’t there ” she’s fine ” Hadley replied as Skylar eyes were on her the entire time.
” You turned her into a beast for your own selfish interest” Skylar pointed out.
Everyone was taken aback when they heard Hadley laughter, no one has ever heard Hadley laugh or seen her smile before.
” Do you think if I didn’t take her away things would have been better ? Little girl, Kiara have to make sacrifices that’s her fate, she need to suffer to become stronger, she needs to accept her responsibilities and fulfill the prophecy” Hadley said seriously.
” Hadley is right….I h@të to admit it but she got a point, Kiara needs harsh treatment to make her stronger, the things waiting ahead, is bigger than you can imagine ” Levi added.
” So what are you guys doing about it ?” Skylar asked she still can’t believe or even think that Kiara is safe around these people, which made Ashley chuckled in amusement.
” One thing is clear, she won’t die ” Ashley utte ed and Skylar sighed before she inhale deeply ” funny, how your friends showed their true colors” Hadley taunt.
Skylar hands clenched into tight fists and Hadley chuckled ” jadle made it clear for you-all not to trust outsiders or allow them enter the pack but did you guys listen? ” Ashley asked.
” Ellie, Derek and your friend s are the reason Kiara is suffering again, so tell me girl, what will you do to avenge your sister ?” Hadley asked as she looked at Skylar with her red eyes.
Levi stared at Hadley for a while, he can’t read her thoughts, she was obviously manipulating Skylar but why ? What’s her motive this time ?
” Wolves and demons can never be one, same goes for Kiara and Antonio, if Kiara didn’t leave, he would have been dead by now ” Ashley added.
” I’ll tell you a short story about Kiara’s existence, according to what I Know, care to listen girl ?” Hadley asked.
” Why are you calling me girl ? ” Skylar asked and Hadley glare at her ” do you want to listen or not ?” Hadley asked coldly and Skylar gulped before she nodded.
” Thousands of years Ago, the whole demon clan was at Peace at first, demons started mating humans, looking for human mate, until one day when the prophecy appeared, someone is going to either end the demons or save us for what lay ahead ” Hadley explained.
“Then what happened ?” Skylar asked as she was still confused ” you know girl, there two types of people in this world, the good and the bad, so you can roughly guessed what happened ” Hadley replied.
” So there were good and bad demons ?” Skylar asked and Hadley laughed ” Demons were asked to stop using humans as meal, some agreed while some didn’t ” Levi added as he looked at Hadley.
” The so called prophecy caused the war, do you know how much power is inside of Kiara ? She can destroy everything and everyone without knowing, when the demons found out, the selfish ones who wanted power -” Hadley paused suddenly.
” Skylar ” Antonio called and Skylar turn around before she frowned ” Not now Antonio, Please continue” Skylar said .
” I’ll skip to the end, both Humans, demons, vampires and other creatures want Kiara dead, do you want to know who the prophecy is about ? ” Hadley asked.
” Kiara, but why ” Skylar asked and Hadley looked at Levi for him to continue “When the humans found out demons won’t stop Killing them, they started training some set of people using black magic and so on to hunt down demons, according to them we are all Evil, we all know of an example I don’t want to mention name but Derek is amongst those hunters ” Levi replied.
” But that’s not true ” Skylar uttered and Levi nodded ” When Kiara first came to this world, the whole clan was aware, she was a threat to some of us, she would either open the gate of hell which will destroy humanity or she will get rid of the army of darkness ” Ashley explained.
” Kiara’s battle began since the day she was born ” Levi added and Skylar shake her head.
So many creatures are after kiara, how will she survive, Kiara can’t fight them alone.
” Can’t we get rid of the prophecy then, I don’t want anything to happen to Kiara ” Skylar asked and Hadley stepped closer.
” No, the army of darkness are already getting ready, that’s the reason Kiara needs to work hard and master her powers ” Hadley replied.
” If Kiara ended up reaching her limits in the battle then everyone will be destroyed ” Ashley added and they frowned ” limits ? ” They chorused.
” Right now, Kiara body can’t carry all her powers, that’s the reason the more she temper with her powers she will loose her six senses till she fully becomes a soulless demon” Levi explained.
” What happens if Kiara don’t use her powers ?” Skylar asked and Hadley sighed ” Then her powers will destroy her ” Hadley replied coldly.
