CHAPTER 9
Kiara stared at her aunt who was seating on the bed looking at the window ” Aunt jadle ” Kiara called out .
” I was expecting all of you ” aunt said without looking at them, her eyes was Smoky white and Kiara walked up to her and she was stunned.
” What happened to you ? ” Kiara asked worriedly as she has never seen her aunt eye change colors before at least not until now.
Antonio park sat down close to aunt quietly waiting for her to say something ” My lazy yet gifted fighter, how are you doing ?” Aunt asked.
” I’m not lazy ” Kiara said and her aunt laughed ” You opened the door for them now you have to stop their evil plans ” Aunt said and they were surprised.
” How did you know that ?” Antonio asked and aunt turn to their direction ” Alpha stop this act of yours and seat up, the journey is going to be tough from now on…your duty is to keep your park together maybe you-all will survive… Luckily you’re not ordinary yourself ” aunt said.
Antonio wasn’t ordinary ? What the heck is going on ?
Anytime her aunt starts talking like this, Kiara is always scared that something bad is going to happen.
” Aunt, can you please tell us about this book ?” Oscar said bringing out the book from Tracy’s backpack.
” No don’t bring it close to me… Keep it ” Aunt said and Oscar nodded as he put it back, aunt jadle was behaving strange and they know it but the main question is ” What’s her reason behind all this ?”
” What do you mean by Antonio is not ordinary… He’s like any other alpha just that he doesn’t know how to use it ” Luke said and Antonio glare at him.
” Some abilities are meant to be known after the storm….” Aunt jadle replied and they frowned upon her reply.
” Can you explain more ?” Tracy asked and aunt looked at her direction ” You just need each other…. Maybe you all will survive this ” ain’t jadle replied.
” Guessed we have to find out ourselves ” Oscar said ” You seems to be the one who thinks fast ” Aunt jadle said as her eyes met Oscar eyes but he quickly looked away.
Tracy felt like Oscar knows what aunt was talking about but he doesn’t want to say anything or maybe he wasn’t sure yet.
” ONI can live for 1000 years ” aunt said ” That’s a long time ” Tracy said and aunt smiled ” The door to unlocked the army of darkness required four things ” aunt said
” How can we stop them ?” Luke asked and aunt shake her head ” Ask the most basic question ” aunt responded staring at Antonio and Oscar
” The book will tell you what to do but first don’t trust anyone except yourselves ” aunt warned
” Who are the people you’re talking about ? ” Kiara asked worriedly. She just wanted a peaceful life but it seems like fate has other plans in store for her.
” Army of darkness ” Aunt replied and they exchanged looks ” Army of darkness ?” They chorused and aunt chuckle.
” You’ll met the good ones that will help with the mission but it will be very difficult to find them ” Aunt added.
” You said something about unlocking the army of darkness, what are they ? ” Antonio asked ” If we know them maybe we can try to avoid them ” Oscar added.
Aunt could only sighed as she knows they were still naive and this whole thing was new and strange to them ” The more you know, the closer you’re to your death… The least you know it’s better for everyone”
Aunt said.
Kiara heard a voice and she shake her head ignoring it… Not again ” First I found this chain, then it lead me to the book.. if I’m correct the book will lead me to something else ” Kiara said
” There are two chains and two other things… When combined it will cause destruction ” Aunt said and they looked at each other in confusion.
” Army, difficult, trust gosh I’m confused ” Tracy said ” At least I’m not the only one who is confused ” Kiara added.
” Don’t let that book out of your sight ” aunt warned as she slowly lay down ” wait you can’t sleep now after drowning us in confusion” Kiara complained.
” I feel like you guys ain’t listening” aunt said coldly and the lights flicked and Kiara bit her lower lips ” that’s because you’re speaking in riddles ” Luke pointed out and a force pushed him away.
” Just leave ” aunt said as she closed her eyes ” No please continue ” Antonio said but aunt already closed her eyes.
” See what you caused ” Oscar said looking at Luke then Kiara ” Okay aunt we will be back when you’re fully rested ” Kiara said as she kissed her aunt forehead.
” You seem to like your aunt alot ” Lily said in amusement and Kiara smiled ” I guessed your aunt must mean so much to you ” Tracy added.
” Well she’s my home, soul, heart and my entire world…I won’t be able to do anything without her she’s my only family left ” Kiara said and her voice cracked as her eyes were filled with unshed tears.
Antonio handed her a napkin ” Gosh I can’t believe am crying ” Kiara said as she laughed ” Don’t worry we are your family now ” Lily said as she tap Kiara shoulders .
One of Kiara’s eyes changed color and she groaned as she suddenly stopped ” Let’s go for a hike through the forest, it will be fun ” She shouted ” Luckily I have a map and touch ” lily added.
” Lily…. Why are you always carrying a those things ?” Luke asked ” well baby Incase I get lost ” lily said. ” That’s supposed to be Tracy job… An FBI” Oscar teased.
” Okay fine only today ” Antonio said as everyone was staring at him.
Well the hike was fun as they chatted happily until the map flew from lily’s hands and they chased after it but it flew away with the help of the wind.
” We can make it out of here right ?” Kiara asked as they sat under a tree ” We are lost ” Tracy yelled as she couldn’t pick up any scent expect from Kiara.
” We will be find stop shedding crocodile tears ” Oscar said pissed off ” I’m tired of walking” Kiara said in a low voice.
” Hop on I’ll carry you ” Oscar said and Kiara laughed ” What can u do without you guys ” Kiara said and Tracy rolled her eyes.
It was already dark when they came to a stop ” I think we are moving in circles” Antonio said as he scanned the environment ” How can you tell ?” Kiara asked.
” I’m a werewolf and besides we keep walking passed that weird tree ” Antonio replied. Kiara walked towards Antonio ” Hmm at least we are safe ” Kiara said.

A sound was heard From behind them, they turned slowly and saw a pair of eyes in darkness ” is someone there ” Kiara asked.
She was feeling strange and her heart was beating loudly. Antonio looked at the pair of eyes that suddenly blicked.
He hold Kiara’s hand and turned ” Run ” he said loudly. Kiara didn’t know what happened next, gosh they were really fast.
They ran towards the direction of the weird tree, they ran so fast that they didn’t notice the sign on the tree
” Mining ancient burial ground ” it was written in blood, ” Guys.. this is a cemetery” lily said looking around as she transformed into her wolf form ” Take this and run don’t look back ” Oscar said giving Kiara the book.
” But I can’t leave you guys alone ” Kiara tried to reason out but Oscar mind was already made up.
Antonio and Luke were already fighting the creature with lily ” Tracy will accompany you ” Oscar said walking closer to Tracy who just nodded in agreement.
Tracy lensed closer and kissed Oscar ” Take care ” Tracy said pulling away and Kiara blinked as she smiled.
Tracy took Kiara as they ran into the cemetery, Oscar who was in a daze forge about the situation in ground ” Oscar a little help please ” Luke called out and Oscar came back to reality.
Tracy and Kiara continued running until the book slipped out of Kiara’s hand. They stopped to pick the book but it moved and they stepped back.
“How to kill an ONI ” Tracy said out loud as Kiara was still patting and she sat on top of a stone

The pace Kiara sat suddenly opened and Kiara fell inside before Tracy could catch her the place closed ” Kiara ….” Tracy yelled out of shock.
