< MELODY HIGH ~ GYM >

The twelfth graders were having a friendly game of dodgeball. While the boys sat on the bleachers watching, the girls were divided into two teams playing

“Alisa is so cruel… She’s actually aiming at Juni” Jack scoffed releasing an angry sigh

Blake chuckled, his eyes were on Vera who seemed to be avoiding Alisa

Ever since their scuffle, Alisa and Vera have drifted apart. They’re no longer friends, Vera has suddenly become someone in the shadows

“d@mn!” Moon smiled when Yuri’s ball hit a student sending him out

She’s just too good

Gavin smiled too, and then glared at Moon

The girls kept throwing and dodging balls, until Alisa’s aim at Juni’s face got her

Juni screamed and fell on her butt, her nose bloodied and lips bursted.

The game came to an abrupt stop

Alisa smirked satisfactorily, bashing her lashes rapidly

“Argh!” Her smile was wiped off when Yuri’s ball connected with her face accurately

“Yuri!!” She shouted and they began throwing balls at each other

Juni was still on the floor holding her bloody nose while crying. She saw Moon coming towards her but before she could speak, he walked passed her to where Yuri was crazily throwing balls

“It’s okay.. she’s bleeding already” He grabbed the ball from her hand, she rolled her eyes at Alisa

Alisa ran out screaming, the sight of her blood irritated her

“Come with me.. you’re hurt too” He held her hand and led her away

“I’m not a baby.. let me go” Yu-ri yanked her hands away

Moon smirked and lifted her in his arms, leaving her dumbstruck

Gavin almost fell from where he was standing. Juni burst into fresh tears and ran out using the second door

Like that, everyone left the gym

Jack searched around wearily, he ran after Juni but before he got to her, she was gone

He sighed about leaving when he heard someone sobbing near the shrub in the garden. He went closer and his eyes widened when he saw Juni crying while hugging her knees

“Hey” He crouched beside her, she lifted her face but it was teary and her eyes red due to the sobbing

“What’s wrong?” He sat down

“Nothing” She wiped her teary face, and he scoffed knowingly

“I also know how it feels when the person you like, likes someone else” Jack said

Juni gasped and hiccuped… Yeah, she was upset because Moon went for Yuri instead of her, she likes him so much but he likes Yuri

“You do?”

“Yeah, and it Ṣūçƙs…but I don’t cry about it…stop being a crybaby” Jack said, and she scoffed

“I’m only crying because a ball hit my face and it hurt so much… I don’t know what you’re talking about” She feigned ignorance, pouting

She and Jack stood up, he took out his handkerchief and wiped her face

“Let’s go to the nurse… To apply first aid” He suggested but when she recalled Moon and Yuri were going to be there she declined

“You should forget about him… He likes you but as a friend, don’t hurt yourself after knowing this” Jack advised and began walking away

“Hey what about you…who do you like?” She asked and he turned staring longingly at her but he shrugged and left

Juni sighed, she decided to sit back basking in her thoughts

< JOGNO-GU >

“Ella.. can we talk?” Felix asked, holding Ella’s forearm pleadingly

He might’ve been drunk last night but he remembered everything and he’s feeling guilty about it

Why the Fůçƙ did he have a nightstand with his colleague… Gosh!

“I don’t want to talk, please let go” Ella wiggled out of his hold

“Ella I’m sorry… I wasn’t in my right frame of mind, please I’m sorry.. ”

“I know and that’s why I don’t blame you… It’s my fault too, if only I controlled myself. Let’s forget about last night okay… Let’s put it behind us” She said seriously and walked away leaving him even more guilty

He was still thinking to himself when the front door opened revealing Rhett and So-hee

“How tolerant are you to alcohol..I wanna get this straight, it’s kinda embarrassing..” Rhett pouted, his hands around So-hee’s neck

“Till the 7th bottle” She answered, and he gasped

“7th? You were a bad girl… What happened to you?” He smirked and she snorted looking forward

That’s when they noticed Felix was there staring at them, defeated

Without uttering a word, he walked away. So-hee sighed softly

“Don’t worry, he’ll come around.. he just needs time that’s all” Rhett said and she looked at him skeptically

“What? All I know is you’re mine and mine alone so I don’t care what he does so far he doesn’t K!SS you…touch you…bully you…take you out…” So-hee burst into laughter before he could finish what he was saying, he didn’t know when he joined her too

“Does your head still hurt?” She asked after she stopped laughing, he has a hangover and it was terrible when he woke up

Rhett nodded like a child

“Go take a shower, I’ll make hangover soup for you” She said and he rolled his eyes before reluctantly dragging himself towards the room

A smile crossed her face as she watched him leave.

She went to the kitchen but first, she took out her phone and called Min-ji twice but she didn’t pick

‘maybe she’s at work..but still’ She thought, pouting as she brought out things to make the soup

So-hee pushed Rhett’s door open and stepped in, just then Rhett also came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

So-hee gasped, hurriedly,she moved forward and dropped the soup on the table in the middle of the room and turned to run out with her eyes shut

“Hey..” Rhett chuckled as he held her by the waist and pulled her closer to himself

“Leave me..” She wiggled childishly and he laughed more

“Why? Are you shy… Of looking at your hot boss’s body?” He teased and she blushed more

He turned her and held her shoulders, he almost laughed when he saw how tightly she clamped her eyes

“You look cute right now..way cute” He chuckled and she pouted

“Wear something…”

” Why? I’m too hot right?”

” Argh…no you’re not, I’m ashamed for you” She grinned and he gasped dramatically, she can be such a talker?

Wow, he never expected this.. Nevertheless, he’s glad she’s comfortable with him enough to say such things

A subtle laugh escaped his lips

“Now you’re body shaming me… I’m hurt” He left her shoulder and went to sit on the bed still with the towel

So-hee thought he went to dress so she opened her eyes,

“Hi clumsy” He winked and she squealed when she saw him

“My eyes!!” She ran out and Rhett chuckled.

He picked the soup she made for him and made funny faces at it, knowing how bitter it’ll taste

He sighed

When So-hee got to her room, she met Ella laying on the bed dejectedly, though she had her headphones with her

“Good morning Ella” She shouted

“Stop shouting” Ella snapped and she shrugged

“Are you sick..you look pale” She asked

“I’m fine, thanks for asking though” Ella said and laid on her side, sighing

So-hee raised a brow confusedly, she pushed the thoughts away and headed to the bathroom

When she was sure So-hee had entered the bathroom, Ella grabbed a pillow and screamed into it.

< 9AM ~ WAREHOUSE >

Jiwoon and Anna were having a steamy make out in the corner of the warehouse, away from where they kept Min-ji

She was still alive, since Anna, out of furiousness missed the second target. The first one went straight to Min-ji’s left leg

As they kept Ṣūçƙing on each other’s lips, one of Jiwoon’s guys rushed in, P@ŋting

“Boss… There’s a problem..”

Annoyed, Anna roughly broke the K!SS and arranged herself

Jiwoon frowned

“What is it and why do you look like a dog soaked in water?” He thundered

“The warehouse is…” He was cut short by the sound of gunshots all over the place

“$h|t… They found us!”

“Jiwoon, what’s going on? ” Anna grabbed his hand fearfully, she didn’t want to die

Jiwoon shot the guy and grabbed Anna’s hand

“Nari, there’s no time to explain, let’s leave… Seems they found us”

“How did they find us?” Anna yelled, feeling pissed off

“I don’t know!! Let’s go!” He took her hand and dragged her with him but she stopped suddenly

“Anna..”

“Min-ji has to die… I must kill her” she said ferociously and collected his gun. She scoffed and made way back to where Min-ji was being held captive

When she got there without wasting any time, she pulled the trigger but yelped instead

The gun fell from her hand, while she grabbed her bleeding forearm. She twirled but before any reaction from her, Ace reigned a thundering slap on her face that sent her to the ground immediately

He dragged her up and punched her like she was a punch bag, he kept all principles aside and hit the monster who had the guts to harm his woman!

He kept punching her till she passed out

“Witch!”

“Gosh! Don’t kill the Minister’s daughter” Klein frowned and picked Anna’s lifeless body in bridal style

Jiwoon was cuffed already, along with some of his men.

Ace rushed to Min-ji, he gasped when he saw how badly she was treated, she was even chained like a dog. Her wounds were bleeding and her leg?

He gasped, a tear slid down his face. He felt like tearing Anna’s head from her body

“Min-ji!” He called

Her breath was shallow, he almost didn’t feel her presence

“Someone call the ambulance!!” He yelled

One of Klein’s men came with the chain’s key and unlocked it. Ace quickly carried her in his arms and ran outside

LATER..

Mrs. Kim sighed with a frown deeply engraved on her face, those two girls of hers were going to give her a headache

She tried calling both Min-ji and So-hee but none was picking and she was starting to worry

Especially for Min-ji, she was staying far away from them now, who knows what she might be doing. And she doesn’t even know how to cook, what if, she’s not treated like the princess she is

Gosh!

Her head was already aching terribly and when she thought she could scale through it, Mrs. Chang came by with her troublesome demeanor

“Aissh” Mrs. Kim grumbled and forced a tight smile

“How can I help you?”

“Do you have sardines…and tomatoes, fresh ones, you gave me rotten tomatoes last time…”

Mrs. Kim kept counting sheep in her head as she spoke, she knew better than involving in a lash out with her

The blaring sound of her ringtone broke into her thoughts and she jerked. It was an unknown number

“Who is it..I’m not Yuri’s mother… W..what?!” She gasped jumping on her feet immediately

She pinched her brows, and pushed the customer out of the store

In a jiffy, she closed the place and ran down the street in search of a cab

< MELODY HIGH ~ CLOSING TIME >

“Hey” Vera halted when she heard the voice, never in her life would she have expected him to speak with her… again!

Blake walked to her front, smirking

“You seem lonely and obedient…What’s up girlfriend” He said

Vera grabbed her bag closely and began walking away, he followed

“Stay away from me Blake… Go away!” She snapped and the next minute she was being pinned to a locker. Her eyes widened

“Shouldn’t you be glad I’m here with you despite being deserted once again by your so called friend…first it was Hoon, now Alisa… seriously?” He ranted angrily and she scoffed trying not to breakdown

Actually, Blake was her boyfriend at least till she changed to something else

“So why do you care…go away!” She struggled

“Because I’m a fool…I still like you dumbass…gosh I h@të myself for that!” He scoffed and left her trying to wrap her head around everything

He still likes her after everything?

Slowly, she slid down and broke into tears

“Mehnn…that was a great scene to watch” Yuri patted Blake as he got to them

Jack nodded

“Take heart dude…she’s just so stu…” Blake’s glare cut him off and he shuddered

Juni walked passed them that moment, she waved at Jack, he waved back happily

“I’m lost here” Yu-ri smirked

“Me too” Blake wrapped his arm around Jack’s shoulder

“Truthfully, I am too” Jack grinned

“Good for nothing..” Yuri began chasing him around while Blake laughed, he looked back for any sign of Vera and sighed when he didn’t see her

She’s just so stupid!!

“Hey guys” Gavin came by, Yuri stopped chasing Jack, she scoffed before waving at Gavin

“Yuri let’s go home” Moon said and took her hand dragging her with him

She waved at her friends funnily, they waved back. Gavin huffed and went away

“Where did you come from?” She quizzed and he smirked

“I’m awesome right?”

“In your dreams” She snapped, then her phone rang. After the call, she looked stupefied and shaken

“H.. hospital..!” She stuttered running crazily to the highway

< HOSPITAL >

“We’ve taken the bullet out if her legs, but we’re not sure if she can walk yet… again if I may say” The doctor informed

Ace, Mr.&Mrs. Kim, Eun-Hae were there listening keenly to his report

“What do you mean doctor… she’s paralyzed?” Ace asked and they gasped

” What!!” Mrs. Kim flared up like a blown fuse, the doctor blinked fearfully

“Calm down hunny…he’s still explaining” Mr Kim cooed

” We can’t say just yet…we have to be patient till she regains consciousness”

“Eomma!” Yu-ri hugged her mother immediately she got there, she was already in tears

All Eun-Hae was thinking about was Min-ji not being able to walk again

‘Nari why? Why?’ She cried silently in the corner she sat

Ace was the only person in Min-ji’s Ward and he too kept thinking of what the doctor said

His baby, not being able to walk again? He swallowed nothing and sniffed

“So-hee’s call” Mr. Kim announced and his wife gasped shaking fearfully

What would they tell her, how would they even tell her?

“Answer it…she’s calling again” Mr. Kim panicked but she pushed it back to him

” You answer it… I can’t..”

He sighed softly and picked the call

” So-hee

“Appa…where is mom, I’ve been calling since. How are you guys, and where’s Min-ji, she’s not picking my calls too..did she get a new SIM? Her old line is not reachable… I’m coming home tomorrow, tell her to move back..I have gist for her. She should stock up too, the fridge was empty when I left and what else…”

Mrs. Kim collected the phone when she couldn’t hold it back

“Kim So-hee don’t come back here without a husband!” She snapped, that’s one thing that’ll make So-hee avoid coming back

“Eomma, I missed you and guess what I’m bringing my official boyfriend home to meet you, at least I’ll be free then… Mom, please send me Ace’s number. I know you have it, I have to talk to Min-ji, it’s a best friend emergency” So-hee kept ranting

Yuri cried harder

Mrs. Kim swiftly ended the call, she sat down dejectedly and burst into tears

“Eun-Hae!!” A loud gruffy voice called furiously, Eun-Hae gasped

Minister Lee, how come..

He took long deviant strides towards her and the least expected happened

He slapped her hard across her face that she lost balance

“Satisfied? You killed my wife and now you’re after my daughter?” He sounded furious

” Tae..” She whimpered holding her stinging cheek

“Evil woman!” He cussed and walked away to the doctors office, multiple guards followed behind

Eun-Hae fell on the floor and started wailing loudly
