Bella and her friends were shocked with the way Jenny talked back at jaylen.

“Well, that will be nice cos I need to get back to my hostel and take a rest and sleep”
Jenny replied, Mave just smile.
“Am mave, nice to meet you… Please you can use my seat instead…

Jaylen looked at Mave and back at Jenny before walking out of the class keeping a straight face.
The whole class were surprised jaylen didn’t take any action.
Bella hit her table angrily.

He muttered checking is phone time and rushed out.

Josephine said and smile throwing him the shop vest.
“Am sorry, we finished class late today and today was full of surprises”

She said and drag a chair to herself.

“Well, a random guy came claiming a seat Jenny and I already sat on…
It not like we are in High school, it actually very stupid and there is one free seat he could have sat on it but insisted on Jenny’s seat”.

“A new girl I met today, we actually go along well, the way we met was actually funny but I think I like her”
He said and Josephine face fell sadly.

(Twelve years ago)
~ Crescent Research laboratory ~
Mr Carter walked into the lab with ham burger and a drink.
“Taylor, you really need to eat something, you have been working all day”
Mr Carter said placing the snacks on the table.
Taylor was in a lab coat working on a specimens on a petri dish.
He place some samples under the microscope and view it…
He groaned and sighs….
“This isn’t working, there are still some clotting (When a liquid substances turn into solid when exposed to air) ….. There is no way we can achieve our aim without a successful pass of this step”
Taylor said and put off his lab coat.
“Come and eat something first before you drain out all your energy”
Carter replied.
“You do know, we don’t eat inside here”
“Well, let’s move outside then, you actually need a fresh air”
Carter said and remove his blue suit.
Taylor took the ham burger and drink and they both walk outside.
Carter and Taylor both sighs.
“Do you know if we achieve our aim, we are definitely going to swim in money,, we are going to be rich”
“Thanks for investing in my project, Carter and for believing in me even though I haven’t achieve anything for now”
Taylor said.
“You’ve done something already, let’s just relaxed and take things slowly” finding a cure to a disease isn’t an easy work”

Racheal went to a night party at bella’s place but didn’t come home in the morning…
Olivia had already woken preparing for school, Jenny is still in bed sleeping peacefully.
Her phone alarm rang and she sprang up immediately.

She said and quickly get up.
“Relax, this is just 6am and besides your alarm woke you up”
Olivia grunt and walk into the bathroom.
Jenny sighs and took her phone.. A school notification was already up on her phone screen.
“Why does school send messages to students??”
Jenny asked.
“Well, for admission acceptance or maybe other reasons.. Did school sent you a message??
Olivia asked from the bathroom.

Jenny replied and kept quiet for a while.

Briston just sent me an expulsion letter??
“Omg, Jenny…

Olivia came out of the bathroom with bath towel around her body.
“I don’t know… I didn’t do anything… I didn’t violate any of the school rules”
“Are you sure, Jenny..??
You just got admitted, so why will they expel you without placing charges for any offence’

“The other reason students get expel is when they provoke the president of the college union, he has power and authority more than professors in this school’

The professor who interrupted jaylen yesterday was also relieved of his job.
Students moving around throw a pitiful look at him.

Jenny took up her bag and walk towards the admin building.

“Am at the admin block, I have an appointment with the scholarship board.

Josephine said and ended the call.

Jenny walk fast towards the admin building in a haste and mistakenly hit another student beside her also in an hurry to get into the building. The cupcakes she held spill all over the floor.
“Omg, you pushed me..”
Josephine said angrily.
“Am so sorry, I will pay for your cupcakes, am in an hurry right now
Jenny replied and drop some Dollar notes on the ground before walking away.

Jenny knocked on the door of the academics administrator
“Come in”
A voice said from inside.
Jenny stepped inside.
“Hmm… Let me guess, you are miss Jenny Taylor”
The man said.
“Yes, I am”
“Alright, if it’s about your expulsion letter, I can’t do anything about it…
The came from the top”
“But I did nothing wrong sir, I didn’t violate any of the school rules”
“Am sorry… The only advice I can give you now is to leave the school immediately or if you still insist, you can convince Mr jaylen Carter, he has the power to reverse your letter”
“Fuçk you all in this school”
Jenny said angrily and went out admist tears.
“Please, I will advise you to reduce your foul languages, miss Taylor”
He replied as she went out and close the door really hard.
“What am I going to tell mom??
My law dream is entirely shattered”
She said to herself as she walk through the hallway.
Jaylen came just in time waking towards her direction with his hands in his pocket.
Jenny saw him, her adrenaline sprang in action… She quickly rushed to him and gave him a Punch in the stomach with her baby hands.

He leaned back and watch them closely.

You just ended my dream… How would I find who killed my father”
Jenny said and Burst into tears.
Jaylen saw her teary face and became sad…. He suddenly hug her.
Jenny looked surprised for a moment and pushed him away.
“Are you out of your mind??
Jenny said more angrily and walk away…
Jaylen look behind her as she walk away.
“What just happened??
Mave look confused.

(8pm) Evening
“Why would you hug someone when you do them bad??”
Jenny asked confused Olivia.
“Are you sure jaylen hugged you cos I find it hard to believe it right now!?
“Yes, Olivia.. he did when he is responsible for my expulsion.
Like who does that??”
“The jaylen that the school knows well does not have sympathy for someone nor talk to people much, the only person he talk to is no other than his friend, Noah”
“I don’t care anymore… I just have to leave his school by tomorrow morning”
Jenny replied.

“It’s okay… You can go to the party you want to…

Jenny said and collapse on the bed.

Jenny face the ceiling remembering she is no more a student,, tears fell down her eyes again.
A knock came on the door.
“Gosh, did Olivia forgot something??”
She muttered and stood up from the bed…
She walked to the door and opened it.
There he was, Jaylen Carter.

Jenny shouted at him.
Jaylen didn’t say anything, he just walk to her, grab her back neck and lock lips with her.
