??Flashbacks ??
The night was dark and cold..
Snowflakes has covered most of the roads and buildings,
It is Christmas Eve
A man in his early 40s was seen driving fast as he can with his wife beside him and two female children at the backseat.
“Dad, hurry we are going to be late”
One of the girls said in an hurry.
“Juliet, as you can see, am driving as fast as I could…
We will surely get home soon,
Don’t worry yourself too much”
Her dad replied.
“Honey, please leave your dad alone… He had a long day’
Juliet’s mom replied.
Juliet just groan and look at her twin sister.
“What’s with the stares??’
She asked removing her headset.
“Why ain’t you saying anything?? We are going to miss Christmas Eve celebration if we didn’t get home fast”
Juliet replied.
Dad just kept driving.
“But did you realise this is just 8:30pm and we don’t need to rush”??
Christmas Eve is not really a big deal
“Well, that’s to you…
“I just want to get home”
Juliet said and relaxed on the seat.
“It’s alright, kids
We will soon be home,… No more talking till we get home”
Dad said as he kept driving.
Suddenly, someone appeared in front of the car from nowhere..
A man stand on the snowy White road, wearing all black leather suit and a black gloves holding a gun.
Juliet’s dad quickly hit the brakes and stop the car.
“What’s going on??
Juliet asked.
“We don’t know… Just stay quiet’
Her mom replied.
Juliet’s sister just stay put listening to a loud music from her headset unknown to what’s going on around her.
Juliet’s dad and mom both look at each other like they know what the man want…
The man on the road raise up his gun and aim at the vehicle.
He began shooting on the windscreen continuously.
Juliet scream in fear…
“It’s okay Honey, just lay low”
Her mom replied…
Juliet’s sister quickly remove her headset…
The mysterious man keep shooting and shooting as he come closer to the vehicle.
“Drive”
Juliet’s mom shouted….
He start the vehicle immediately and continue driving fast.
The mysterious man saw the car coming speedily at him..
He quickly jump to saftey to avoid being hit…
Juliet’s dad keep driving fast and he breathe in relief.
Fear already gripped Juliet and her sister at the back seat..
In the next two minutes, the car flipped over crashing hard on the ground with all the glass windows shattered.
Blood began to flow out from scene of the accident on the snowy White road…
Juliet’s sister coughed…
Blood was all over her face,, everyone else was already dead including Juliet.
Her sister cried seeing a iron rod pierced into her mom’s forehead.
“Mom
Mom,,,
Juliet Juliet,,
She called everyone’s name but no one answered.
She unhook her seat belt and reach for the car door…
She tried opening the door with her little hands but it refuse to open…
The police ?? car and the ambulance already gathered at the scene…
Someone wearing the same black leather suit and gloves was watching the whole scene from the bushes around the road.
A police officer came and opened the door from outside…
A paramedic also came and get Juliet’s sister out,, putting her on a stretcher.
“Help, my parents and my sister are still in there”
Juliet’s sister shouted crying profusely.
“Take her into the ambulance,,, we will try and save the rest”
A cop said.
“One of their daughter is still alive”
The man hiding in the bushes said into a telecomm phone and ran till he disappeared out of sight.

Jenny woke up and yawned loudly…
“How was your sleep??
You didn’t bother to eat dinner before you sleep”
“I guess am really tired cos of yesterday’s work”
“Are you fine now??”
Olivia asked.
“Yes,, I have to go to class,
She picked up her phone..
“This is still 6;30am,, you still got time”
“Where are you going??”
Jenny noticed her dressed up already.
“Oh,,, am having an early training class,,
So I have to go early”
She said and stood up.
Jenny just nodded.
“I will see you later, Jenny”
Olivia said as Racheal snores really hard on her bed.
“You can use my ear pod if you want to”
Jenny burst into laughter…
“Don’t worry, I will manage her”
Olivia smile and she walked out.
Jenny took her phone to check if her mom leaves a message.
She scale through and saw her reply.

Mave and Jenny walk quietly to class.. Lydia saw them and quickly walk to them.

She introduced herself.

She replied and look at Jenny.
“Thanks for saving me the other day”

“So,, are you here for the project work??”
Mave asked.

“How I wish I have a female partner and not jaylen but all the same am happy it’s jaylen…

She said and smile as she walk to class.

She saw Noah and jaylen.

He said and ran to catch up with Jenny.

“No, dummy… Am talking about our project work”
She replied as they both sat together on the Auditorium seats.
“Oh,, will definitely be free… I won’t come with my car today to pick you up”
We will take the public transport home”

“Cos you said you don’t like boys who like to impress or show off”
He replied and Jenny smile.

So you listened to me??
“Well, if that’s what people think,, I have to change that to suit what they want”
“I would say you shouldn’t listen to what other people say all the time,, sometimes be yourself,, listen to what your heart wants”
Jaylen smile and stare at her eyes.
“Thanks for your word of wisdom”.
“People actually think you are a hard person,, someone who is wicked like his sister but quiet and has the power to do anything in this school,, so they fear you and pray not to cross line with you”
Jaylen smile.
“Ouch, that wicked word you used hurt”
“But they are wrong about me actually”
“Yeah, they are… Meeting you and getting to know you shows you are gentle and soft and not even what people think”
Do you actually expelled me that day??
“No,, my sister did,, she stole my stamp ink and used that to issue an expulsion letter,, it was all part of her plans to deal with you”
“I should have suspect that,,, gosh,, I didn’t even think to that way”
Jenny said and burst into laughter.
“Well, it’s my fault,,, I pushed people away,,, I didn’t want to make friends cos I thought of how I lost one friend,, the friend I really cherished when I was little not until Noah came along”
“As from now on… Don’t push people away,,, you need more than one friend to live a good life”
She replied and pat his shoulder.
“Can you be my friend??”
“No, am your project partner”
Jenny replied.
“Hello, am right here”
Mave said in front of them, waving his hands, trying to get their attention.
“Oh, mave”

He rollled his eyes at jaylen.
“Have been standing here for like five minutes now and no one is answering me,,, you two are so engrossed with your conversation staring at each other.
“We are sorry”
Jenny replied.
Mave said down beside Jenny angrily and gave a killing look at jaylen.

Mave stood up…
“I will see you later, Jenny… I need to meet Lydia at the coffee shop for our project work,,”
He said.
“Yeah, same also,, we are going over to my place for ours…
Jaylen replied.
“Your place??”
Mave almost shouted.
“Yeah”
Mave snared at him and walk out of the class.
“I wonder what games he is trying to play now…
Is he trying to take Jenny from me?? How did he just suddenly get along with Jenny so well??”
He kept asking himself until he bumped into Noah.
“Hey, watch where you are going??”
Noah shouted at him.
“Or you watch yours instead,,,
Mave replied angrily and walk away.
“Gosh, I wish jaylen was with me,, he would have dealt with this brat right here”
Noah said to himself and look at jaylen and Jenny chatting and laughing at each other,
“Does jaylen like Jenny this much??”
Is that the reason he ignores me all day just to stick with his childhood girlfriend??

(Coffee shop)
“Why are you so upset,, been noticing your face expression after you came back from class”
Lydia asked.
“Oh,,, no it’s nothing… Am okay”
Mave replied.
“You are not,, it written on your face,,. Tell me,, what’s wrong??”
Mave still keep quiet.
“Is it because of Jenny??”
Mave quickly look at her.

“That’s the only reason for you to be upset…
Do you have feelings for Jenny??”
“Yeah, I do like her but it seems she doesn’t like guys that much and now she is getting along well with Jaylen.
I thought she resent him… I thought she told me she didn’t like jaylen at first”
Mave keep wondering.
“Calm down,,mave…
You are not sure of that yet,, Jenny might not be in love with him,,, they might just be talking casually cos of their project work perhaps??
“Hrmm??
Mave look at her for a second.

Minutes later, Josephine came out with two coffee and saw mave and Lydia on a table having a conversation.
“Wonder what she wants”
She muttered and walk to them.
Josephine placed the coffee at mave and Lydia’s table…

What are you doing here??”
“Am not here for you,,, I came for mave”
Lydia replied…
Mave look at both Josephine and Lydia…
He could see resentment in their eyes.
“Like I care,,,
She said and walk away.
“Josephine,,, wait”
Mave called and wanted to stand up.
“Don’t… We have work to do now that we have lost a lot of time talking about something else”

Mave pointed to Josephine walking away already.
