{The SchoolPlay Kiss}
Janet didn’t know what to do or feel after Rocky
said he’d expose her secret. There was nothing
she could do than try to stop him from doing so.
” Rocky Salvador.” She spoke.
” Only the woman who birthed me knows my
full name, so stop calling me that, android Bîtch.
” He spat blindly in anger.
” Please, do not try to reveal my secret as it
might cause consequences beyond your
capabilities.” She finally begged, but he scoffed.
” Yunno what? Now that you’re begging me not
to do it, it makes me feel like doing it even more.
I’m gonna tell every single body in this world
about your identity, and no Füçkin’
consequences are gonna happen. Let’s see.” He
said stubbornly and left, then Janet just stood
still and watched his back till he disappeared.
She felt the need to look down, and she did so.
She didn’t know how her insides were acting, it
was as if something invisible was telling her to
feel worried.
For the first time in forever, her blank face
actually had an expression. Her brows moved
towards each other, making her look worried
indeed.
♣ MINUTES LATER♣
Cleo was coming out of the cafeteria after she
had eaten to her fill. She was walking though
the hallway when she met Janet coming her
way, and she quickened her steps towards her.
” Janet! How have you been!” Cleo muttered
cheerfully and hugged her.
She broke the hug and looked at her face, only
to notice that Janet looked worried. Her eyes
widened.
” Janet… Your face…” She muttered with shock
and took a step back, palming her mouth.
” You’re… You have an expression on your face..
. Am I dreaming?” She muttered unbelievably.
” Rocky discovered my android secret and plans
to tell every single body in the world about it.”
Janet told her, and Cleo froze.
” Oh… My… Goodness.” She muttered slowly.
She was witnessing too many shocking things
at once. She should have passed out a minute
ago, but she’s a strong girl.
” How did he know about it?” She asked.
” I believe that he overheard Brayden calling me
an android.” Janet said.
” Wait… Brayden knows you’re an android too!”
Cleo exclaimed.
” Yes. He told me that he wanted us to be closer
to each other, nit physically but intimately.” She
replied.
Cleo held her head, almost going crazy. Janet
was supposed to be the one acting the way she
was, but for some reason she was the one
overreacting.
” Okay. So there are like… Four of us that know
you’re an android now. Melody, Rocky, Brayden
and me. Except that the remaining three could
tell your secret to the whole world!” Cleo
panicked and gasped for breath.
” Attention Students!” A voice spoke over the
loud speakers in the hallway, and their attention
turned to it.
” As you all know that we’re approaching the
end of our session in quite a while, a school
play has been planned out by the board to take
place anytime from today. The participants
have been chosen already, but only the lead
roles are to come tomorrow for tryouts before
others can take part too.” The person spoke.
” A school play?” Cleo questioned.
” This school play is special because it’s a
musical school play, based on William
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. The lead roles
are just two persons.” The voice said again.
All other students were currently hearing this
too. Even Rocky wasn’t left out as he stood in
the hallway and listened, his heart pounding
against his chest.
He was the leader of Platinum Boys, the best at
talents in the school to the board. What if they
picked him… And paired him with Janet? He
couldn’t take that kind of pressure.
” Brayden Savage and Janet Coleman, you have
been nominated as the lead roles for the
musical school play.” She announced, and the
whole hall crowded with students went wild
with noise.
Cleo was almost deafened with the noise as she
blocked her ears so as not to become deaf.
Rocky looked back, and surprisingly, Janet was
standing afar from him, also facing his
direction so their eyes met immediately.
He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, losing
his mental sanity. He quickly dashed out of the
hall before things would get worse.
” Okay. Here’s the plan. I’ll go try to talk to Rocky
about your secret, while you just steer clear out
of trouble’s way. Okay?” Cleo said, and Janet
nodded positively.
She ran off across the hallway in search for
Rocky.
Rocky was about to step out of the school when
he suddenly remembered something, then he
turned back to the hallway, facing everyone.
” Hey! Stop talking!” He shouted at them, and
they instantly turned dead-silent, turning to him.
It was easy for Cleo to locate him as she saw
him at the school’s entrance and began running
towards him like hell.
” I have something to tell you all.” He began. He
was obviously about to blurt out Janet’s secret.
” Janet Coleman… She’s not actually a human
being. She’s a…” He was about to reveal
everything when Cleo crashed into him and
pushed him out of the school, preventing the
rest of the words from coming out.
They both landed heavily outside on the
school’s carpet grass with loud grunts.
They both stood up at a time, facing each other
with heavy pants. Everyone gathered at the
entrance and watched them interestedly.
” Why the Füçk did you run into me!” Rocky
shouted angrily at her, and she grabbed his shirt
by the neck, bringing her face closer to his in a
fierce manner.
” I have just one single friend in this life. If
anything should happen to her, I’ll tear you to
shreds from top to bottom.” She growled, and he
seprated himself roughly from her, stepping
back.
” What the Füçk are you talking about?” He
asked.
” Janet. She’s the one I’m talking about, and you
were just about to blurt out something about her
that you shouldn’t even know.” She said.
” Oh… The fact that she’s an…” He was about to
say ‘android’ when Cleo sped to him impossibly
and pushed him down, sitting on top of him and
choking the last word in his throat.
” Let me go!” He yelled and held her hands,
trying to get them off his neck.
” Reveal her secret, and this is where I’ll Füçkin’
kill you.” She threatened and tightened her grip
around his neck, almost choking him to death.
Breathing already seemed impossible for Rocky,
and he gasping for breath.
She was about to kill him completely when
someone grabbed her arm from behind and
pulled her up from Rocky.
” Leave me alone! Let me kill him!” She shouted
and made to go to Rocky again, but the person
holding her didn’t let go.
She finally turned back to the person, seeing his
face. Her eyes widened in shock and she
stopped struggling, staring at his handsome
face endlessly.
It was Mario.
” Let him be. That’s enough.” He spoke in the
handsome voice that always got her charmed,
leaving her spellbound with his natural beauty
as she kept on staring. She couldn’t help herself.
Rocky stood and made to attack Cleo, but Mario
shielded her immediately.
” Stop it, dude.” Mario told him.
” She almost choked me to death! How do you
expect me to let her go freely!” Rocky barked.
” Don’t try to come near her.” Mario wanted
seriously, and Rocky glared dangerously at Cleo
before rubbing his neck, then he spat on the
ground and walked away without another word.
Mario turned to Cleo, who had a bold red blush
on her cheeks, but he ignored it and looked at
her eyes.
” You owe me one for saving you.” He told her
and left like that, leaving her in her state.
She turned back to watch him leave as her heart
kept on pounding insanely till he left her sight.
” Füçk!” She muttered and held her forehead and
chest at the same time, falling on her knees on
the grass. Her rapid heartbeats made it almost
impossible for her to breath properly.
The show was over, so everyone left the scene.
Flash was the only one left at the entrance as
he stared at Cleo with a blank face.
On the outside… He looks tough and cold. But
deep inside… He’s a softie who wants to love
someone just like how Cleo loves Mario.
He sighed, then he left the spot.
♣NEXT DAY♣
It was the day for the tryouts, the day that
Brayden and Janet only were going to practice
their lead roles for the Romeo and Juliet
musical school play.
Rocky wasn’t in school. He was presently in his
father’s office at FIREWORKS, a company
owned by his father and dealing in cosmetics.
Rocky was sitting on his father’s main seat, a
swivelling chair. He turned around in it and
stopped, facing the table, then he placed his
legs on the table, feeling like a king while he
waited for his dad to arrive.
His father finally opened the door and entered.
He looked shocked to see Rocky in his office,
and he dropped the bag he was holding with
wide eyes.
” Son!” He exclaimed.
” Welcome Mr. Salvador.” Rocky greeted
formally and stood, walking to his father.
Mr. Salvador picked up the bag he dropped and
faced Rocky seriously.
” What are you doing here son? How did you
even get inside my office in the first place? This
place has high security , so I don’t expect even
you to…
” I bribed your guard, then he handed me this…
The keys to your office.” Rocky responded,
raising the keys to his dad’s face.
Mr. Salvador scoffed and walked past Rocky,
going to his seat.
” Remind me to fire that guard when you get out
of here soon.” He said and sat on the swivelling
chair, facing his desk.
” You know that I’m here for a reason, right?”
Rocky spoke, coming to sit in front of his father.
” What are you here for?” Mr. Salvador asked,
rather calmly.
” Thee is a girl named Janet Coleman in my
school. I want you to expel her.” He requested.
” And for what reason should I expel an
innocent student in your school?”
” She’s not innocent Dad! She’s not even a real
human. She’s like an abomination of science
creation, okay? She’s not even a real girl.” Rocky
stated fiercely.
Mr. Salvador crossed his fingers into each other,
staring at Rocky unbelievably. Later, he smiled
at him.
” You’re a really funny kid, yunno? You inherited
your jokes from me.” He said unseriously and
laughed.
” I’m serious Dad. She’s an Android. She needs
to be expelled from the school.” Rocky said
more firmly.
” Look, son. I don’t have time for your games.
I’m a really busy businessman. I have a
company to look after, so I have no time to
expel an ‘android’ from your school.” He said,
putting air quotes around ‘android’.
” This company you’re looking after wouldn’t
exist if not for me. I’m the reason this freakin’
building exists in the first place. You built this
place so that you’d get more money to take care
of me since mom isn’t there to help you.” Rocky
said.
” Son…”
” I’ve had enough of all this. Remove that girl
from my school… Or I’ll do so myself.” Rocky
threatened boldly, not having an iota of respect
for his own father.
” If you dare do anything funny in your school
and they report me to you, I’ll…” His father tried
to threaten him in return, but Rocky cut him off.
” Murder me? Just like you did to Mom?” He
spoke seriously, and Mr. Salvador’s eyes
widened as he choked on nothing.
” Isn’t that what you were gonna say?” Rocky
spoke and stood, bending himself across the
desk and coming nearer to his Dad’s face. ”
You’ll kill me just like you did to mom? You had
an affair with another woman. She found out,
then you tried to poison her drink while she was
pregnant with me, just to shut her up. You didn’t
even care about me too. Them she had a heart
attack when she found out about the poison…
And died.” Rocky said, and Mr. Salvador started
shaking, beads of sweat forming on his
forehead.
” How did you…”
” How did I know?” Rocky cut him short again. ” I
have my ways… And that’s how I’ll have my way
with you in avenging my mother’s death…
William.” He called his father’s name, then he
knowingly pushed the desk towards Mr.
Salvador before leaving the office.
Mr. Salvador sighed heavily, laying his head on
the desk.
He’s honestly regretting his action. He tried to
forget about his wife’s death and bury his guilt…
But Rocky dug back his memories of her right
out. There was no escaping from the truth now.
He was a complete murderer, and he was still
swimming in guilt… Regretting his actions
terribly.
He began to cry, and tears of sadness rolled
down from his eyeballs.
♣ UMA ∞ ACTING CLASS ♣
There was an acting class for students with
acting talent, and it had all the necessary
equipments for acting, especially the stage
where Brayden and Janet where currently
standing and facing each other.
The director and his crew sat on front of them
to assist and supervise their practice.
They both held scripts from where they’d be
reading lines for the musical play.
” In this play… Romeo is in love with his Juliet,
whereas Brayden is acting as Romeo and Janet
is Juliet. You get me?” The director said, and
they both nodded.
” I assure you that you have no reason to be
afraid or nervous. Just read the script in your
hands, memories each verse and act it out
naturally, then you’ll be perfectly ready for the
play.” He said and smiled, then Brayden and
Juliet faced each other.
They started to read lines from the script, acting
out the play the way it was written in the script.
The director kept on commending them greatly,
impressed by their amazing acting skills. They
were born stars.
They kept on their practice when Rocky silently
entered the room, and he snuck on to the stage
without any of their knowledge.
He stood somewhere behind Brayden and Janet
on the stage, spying on them.
” Of course, there’s the most important part of a
musical play, the music. Janet, just skip the
remaining verses and go to the part with song
lyrics. Sing them out first.” The director told her,
and she flipped directly to the page.
Brayden looked away from his book and began
to stare at her. Her eyes were still blue for a
reason he couldn’t figure out, and yet she was
right in front of him.

🎶It’s your Juliet next door…🎶
Janet began to sing the verses with such a
melodiously beautiful singing voice. Rocky
suddenly became hypnotized by her voice that
he suddenly forgot himself and stated to stare
intently at her.
The way her lips moved… The way her brown
hair was flowing because of the spinning fan
above her… The way she sang. It was all too
magical for him to handle.
She stopped singing, and it was Brayden’s turn.
He sang his part too in a really good masculine
voice, only that he switched the names in the
verses.
” And now… For the most important part of the
okay… The ending kiss.” The director
announced, and Rocky suddenly got pulled out
of his hypnosis.
Did the director just mention a kiss? Like… They
were gonna come closer to each other and
touch lips?
He suddenly didn’t know how he felt. It was as if
he wasn’t in control of his emotions… As if he
felt… Jealous?
” Just come closer to each other and kiss… It’s
as easy as that. I want to see how good of a
kisser you both are.” The director spoke
excitedly.
Janet’s eyes met with Brayden’s own, locking
firmly. She started feeling hot inside and her
system acted all glitchy, then her eyes switched
from blue to red, but no one noticed except for
Rocky and Brayden.
Rocky’s heart started to pound in suspense and
anxiety. He watched as Brayden took Janet’s
hands and moved closer to her face… Like he
would really kiss her.
Janet could detect the heat between them, the
heat of the kiss that was about to happen and
probably make her feel the true emotions she
came to the school for.
Brayden was already so close to her face that
his breath fanned her. He smiled handsomely
before closing his eyes, then he opened his lips,
leaning in to her for the kiss.
Janet also followed his steps and closed her
eyes, opening up her lips too for him. Rocky’s
eyes widened in his place as their lips kept
coming closerin a slow motion.
He quickly stood up and went to pull down a
rope hanging from the roof, which was
supporting a plastic cloud hanging on top of
Brayden’s head.
The rope left the cloud, and it plunged down
hard in the air, falling right beside Brayden with
a large noise.
Brayden’s eyes flew open and he separated
from Janet eventually, stopping the kiss from
ever happening.
