Since I wasn’t at home Kelly had a change of plan, and the plan was sending five of his gunmen to the road I was driving through when coming back from the office.
I thought my security men were smart, but these guys were not only smart they are also clever and fearless.
on our way coming back we saw a little girl crying at the middle of the road.
we stopped.
I told my security men to take care of the situation.
we never knew it was a set up
one of the hoodlum released fire on my security.

at this moment Kelly’s gang came out and release fire on my second security and he died at the spot.
it was left with just me and my last security guard who was left alive.
In other for us not to die he came out with his two hands up.
I was about to follow him out as well when one of the hoodlum beheaded him with a machete.
luckily for me I moved back, but my luck was just for a while.
I don’t know if I should shout, cry or run because at this point I was already surrended by these guys.

They never knew Kelly wasn’t inside, he had already escape with his mother and one of his child before the guys got there.
so sad the people who was Burnt inside the house was his two baby mama and his two kids (the twins).

Kelly mourned his children and Vowed he would rest at nothing until I’m dead.
I thought Kelly and his mother would give up because for weeks I never heard about them.
I never knew they had a loyalist in my house, this was the same person who told them I wasn’t at home when they came in the first place.
Kelly thought he was the god of the street, I made him know that when it comes to the street I’m a god and the devil combined.
He has no one to fight for him so he had to get to his cousin who I never knew was One of my house help, her name was Gift.
Kelly and his mother gave Gift a poisonous liquid to be poured in the food Ada (The Cook) was preparing.
That day Ada finish doing her duty, she was surprise that gift was working overtime.
The both of them normally goes home together but Ada couldn’t wait for her to finish Up.
On her way going home she realize that she had left her personal keys in the kitchen.
She got back to the house and notice the house was totally calm, she wasn’t seeing Gift doing her overtime job, instead of delaying herself she went straight to the kitchen to get her keys.
due to the sound coming out from the kitchen, She decided to slightly Open the door and peep, only to find out that Gift was pouring a purple looking substance inside all the pots and staring it.
Her instincts quickly told her it was poison.
Ada immediately called me to rush to the house that something is happening, before then she has already locked the kitchen with Gift inside.
I suddenly rushed down to the house.

The door was opened for Gift to come out. She was angry, she never knew she was seen, so she began to express her anger very seriously.
“What’s your problem? who gave you the right to lock me inside the kitchen like that, you’ve done your job wouldn’t you allow me to finish mine” she lashes her anger Disrespectfully at Ada.

“Bring All the food for me please” the food was brought and serve under my order!
“Ma! I don’t understand, but I’m not hungry, I will eat when I’m done with my overtime” Gift relented!
“Gift I insist you eat the food now. you like eating always, why rejecting now?? so please eat” I sounded more polite.
“Ma I’m having running stomach, I can’t eat now, else I will just leave what I’m doing now and run to the toilet” she continued with her excuses.
“I insist you eat it now, no more excuses, You can do it here for all I care” I ran out of patient!
“Please Ma, Please I can’t eat it, please” she started crying like a witch!
“Who sent you?, How much were you paid to kill me?” I ask!
“No ooo ma, I wasn’t sent to kill you, you’re a very good person to me. infact to us all. So why will I want to kill you” she was already shivering!
“I was wondering the same thing,l… Guards” I ordered My PSA (Personal Security Guard) to force the food into Gift’s mouth!.

🌱 Chapter 17 (Final)
Kelly and his mother doesn’t want to give up, I was already frustrated of the killing because the ghost of those I’ve killed were already crying. I could feel their breath on my shoulder at night when I sleep.
I wasn’t raise that way, but life didn’t give me another option.
I’m now living a life of Kill Or Be Killed with my own flesh and blood.
In other for me to stop this I sent a message to Kelly that we should have a truce. I’d already called off the bounty hunter of him.

after that happened Kelly & the gunman disappeared.
I called for help but he wasn’t among those that came. It all make sense now.

That was exactly how I lost Ada, we all mourned her like our family and not our cook.

his mother burst into tears and ran off.
before Kelly got home his mother had killed herself.
Before she committed suicide she took her grandchild to me and asked me to take care of him as my own child.
It was a wish I couldn’t say NO to because the child was my redemption
I was the one who killed his siblings in the house that was set on fire, so there was no way I would reject the child.
Kelly was arrested and had to do life in prison this time.
i became a mother to his child, and brought my mother to come and live with me, that woman have suffered, it’s her time to enjoy the fruit of her labour.
