Chapter 38 ?
She wanted to fold her arms against her chest but was surprised when she found a jacket on her. He must have put this on me, he shouldn’t be a d_1ckhead – she chuckled sadly.
Milena, Brittany, Kristen and Ellen continued chatting and walking to God-knows-where.
Kristen sights Christian coming out from the female’s cubicle. “Hey brother!” She yelled, waving her hands.
She could see him roll his eyes as he jogged to where they were, a little bit far from the restroom. “I told ya they were lovey dovey.” Ellen winked.
Christian got to them, obviously heard what she said. “We weren’t doing anything.” He opposed, rolling his eyes.
Ellen laughs. “I wasn’t talking about you. Got ya!” She laughed again, earning a glare from him.
“I never knew you liked her.” Britt grinned and he sent her a glare too. “Sorry, just surprised.” She flung her hands up in a surrender manner.
He stuck his hands into his pockets. “Where’s your jacket?” Kristen asks and it looked like his tongue was tied.
Kristen giggled, giving Ellen a high five. “I don’t like h—-” He groaned but his sentence was cut short by a loud scream.
All of their eyes were directed towards the same direction, the cubicle. “Nora!!” His mind screamed.
Before the others reacted, his legs were already running towards the place. “How do you know it’s Nora?” Ellen asks, running behind him.
Kristen and Ellen were both running behind him while Milena and Brittany struggled to keep up with their pace.
They run so Fuçking fast! Maybe because they are werewolves. “Which cubicle is she?” Ellen asks.
Christian couldn’t reply when he opened the restroom in which he left her and found it empty!
Ellen checks where he’s checked. “Why are there no students around?” Brittany asks, gasping for breath.
They looked around yelling Nora’s name but they couldn’t see her anywhere. Not in any of the cubicles, not anywhere around the toilet area.
“Which cubicle did you leave her in?” Milena asked. He looked at her, his eyes screamed with anger.
Milena gulped, she has never seen his eyes that way before. His eyes looked like….. ‘Red!’ her head echoed as some weird images formed in her head.
They weren’t very clear but she could recognize herself in the embrace of someone and he touched her head – she gasped.
It seemed to get the attention of Brittany. “Are you okay?” She asked, worriedly. “I think so.” She replied, blinking her eyes and forced a smile.
Kristen ruffled her hair. “We can’t find her anywhere.” She says but was surprised when Christian growled fiercely at her, showing his canines.
Ellen also gasped seeing him growl. “What’s……” She was about cursing when they heard another loud scream.
Christian took the direction, running like he has never ran before. He feels insane sensing her in danger!
They followed him, running and panting. Ellen was bewildered seeing Christian sniff in the environment, running through different directions.
He ran madly towards a particular direction, sniffing very hard. He was trying to find her scent but he could only smell blood.
Her blood – his blood boiled in anger. “There!….” Kristen shouts, pointing opposite him.
Everyone’s gazes fall to the direction. “Christian…..” Nora’s voice sounded but only him could hear it.
He could feel the pain, the agony she was going through. He felt so mad that his cannines grew longer as he tried to run to her rescue.
Ellen held him back. “You can’t just get in there like the super hero you are.” She yelled at him and he growled at her.
Brittany’s eyes dimmed in shock seeing the same tail which attacked Kristen also holding Nora as a prey. But what is it doing here again?
Kristen gulped hard. “The creature again?” She asks, stepping back fearfully.
Milena holds her head again as she tries to remember something, clear images coming in a rush into her head. “It’s the creature!” She suddenly gawked.
They all looked at her except Christian who was still trying to break free from Ellen’s grip. “Remember our first day in school?” She directs the question to Britt.
Brittany nods her head aggravatingly. “When we wanted to change, the room we entered?” She asked.
Brittany nodded, urging her to continue. “I said I saw a creature wave past which resulted in me losing my necklace and going gaga with my demon.”
Brittany’s eyes widened. “The creature…the…is the tail?” She gasped and Milena nodded.
Kristen’s mouth was wide open. “Do you mean this same tail that attacked me, you have seen it before?” She asked to be sure.
Milena nodded slightly. “Not really seen, it only wavered past me in maybe one second.” She drawled.
Brittany looked at Nora, then to Milena. “Someone is using the tail against us.” She concluded.
Ellen hiccupped. “Not only us. I think it’s just starting but using us as a start.” She said and they nodded.
“How do we stop it?” Kristen asks, sighting Nora struggling with the creature. “I don’t know, maybe my demon could help?” Milena suggested.
Brittany raised a brow at her. “Do you know how to call her out? I mean, she only comes out whenever she wants to.” She asks.
“I will try..” She shrugged. “Maltilda? Maltilda?” She closed her eyes calling her demon but everything just seemed silent.
“Help!!” Nora’s weak voice sounded but they all stood looking at Milena expectantly.
Christian’s slight hazel eyes has changed to a brown ones. His wolf has taken control. “I will not wait till she gets killed!” He growled, turning into his wolf form.
Ellen was taken aback by the little strength he used to free himself from her tight grip. There was only one meaning to Christian’s behavior – Nora is his mate.
Brittany and Milena were shocked to see Christian’s wolf, he has never changed, not in their presence. He looked a little bigger than normal wolves, a big deep brown wolf.
Ellen and Kristen screamed in unison as they saw his wolf run to the background of the field where the creature was holding weak Nora.
They all ran, going closer to it but not too closer. “Christian, get a hold of yourself!” Ellen half yelled.
The tail wriggled at the high sound of her voice and held Nora tightly. They gasped when they remembered that Maltilda said it h@tës noises just like her.
Christian jumped on the tail, trying to bite it. His wolf teeth bitting the tail but only bit the hairy comb and suddenly, it flinged at him.
He ducked the long hairy comb of the tail. How can there be an invisible tail? Does it live inside the school? And why is it starting from us? – These questions roamed in their heads.
Kristen didn’t dare come close to the creature, she stood centimeters away from it as she was it’s first victim.
Brittany watched in shock of seeing a tail from nowhere attacking her friends, who knows who’s next on the line?
Milena closed her eyes trying to call her demon out desperately but Maltilda just refused to answer. Maybe she is still sleeping?
Ellen thought about who actually could be using the creature against them in particular. They aren’t the only one in school and how can Nora be her brother’s mate?
Nora whimpered in pain as the tail wriggled around throwing her around with Christian looking for a way of saving her.
They were all out of ideas of how to save their friend and yet, Maltilda who saved Kristen the other day refused to appear.
Christian wasn’t growing tired as he kept on jumping on the tail, trying to bite it or to use his long sharp nails on the tail but the hairy comb on the creature is like a protection coat.
Ellen stopped Christian from trying with her grey wolf and they growled at one another. “You are not helping her!” Ellen growled at him.
He growled back at her. “I can’t sit here and watch her die.” He snarled. “Don’t be blinded because she’s your mate!” She growled more fiercely.
He stopped I’mmediately, hearing that word ‘mate’. Who was she talking about? Nora…my mate? – He asked no one in particular.
His fierce eyes is now calm as he was more than shocked, standing as he glanced at the already unconscious Nora.
Everywhere was silent now as the others wondered what the hell Ellen said to be able to have calmed him down.
