As soon as the needle was removed from Milena’s neck, she fell down weakly. “I thought you are more than what you call yourself.” Leader Sapphire laughed, swinging the bottle in her hands.
Milena groaned, trying to stand up but couldn’t and the others helped her. What is wrong with me? Just a single bottle of my blood and I am this weak? She thought.
Leader Sapphire went to place the bottle on her cowry throne and in a second, she reappeared to where she was standing again. “Now, it’s show time!” She laughed.
Before any one of them could blink, Milena choked and they glanced at her, wondering what was wrong with her and they could see that she was a little above the ground which means…..
Brittany strained her eyes, trying to figure out why Leader Sapphire could bring out blood from her so easily and now, punishing her? It was so not possible!
Now, she could see a tiny rope holding Milena’s neck which made her a little above the ground; something was definitely wrong somewhere, this wasn’t meant to be happening.
Christian looked at Kristen and she sighed in defeat too, they had been trying to transform into their wolf at least to help with something but strangely, it wasn’t working. “You won’t be able to transform in the dark coven.” Voile said.
They looked at her surprisingly. “The darkness here will affect you, it will taint the soul of your wolf and if you force it, your wolf may die.” She said and they quickly stopped forcing it, none of them wants their wolves to die, not now.
Leader Sapphire was still adding more strength, pressing and choking Milena’s neck harder. “She’s using the coven’s invisible rope.” Nikita gasped, looking at Voile; it seemed that only the two of them could see the very tiny rope plus Brittany.
Brittany was perturbed, it doesn’t seem right: she couldn’t push away the thought that it doesn’t just feel right. She silently thought, looking at Milena who kept wriggling in the air and trying to free herself.
Why was Maltilda not coming out too? It just doesn’t seem right. Brittany suddenly gasped when her eyes traveled to Milena’s neck, the dragon necklace, it wasn’t on Milena’s neck anymore!
Brittany quickly stepped forward, standing two feets beside Milena. “Beverley, use your Mordseth power. Nikita and Voile, attack the leader with your dacras from different positions and Ellen…. I’m afraid you need to get us out of here.” Brittany instructed.
They nodded, each going to work immediately. Beverley stepped forward, sending lightning and struck it towards Leader Sapphire but she dodged and was still controlling the rope which held Milena’s neck.
Nikita tried attacking her with her dacra but the leader dodged every attempt, disappearing and reappearing which was unexpectedly flinging Milena all over the room as Milena screamed in pain, all her body ached.
Leader Sapphire pointed her staff towards Ellen who was meditating, trying to remember the complete spell her mother has recited to her just yesterday and Beverley stopped the dacra which came out of the staff with her palms.
Wind blew in the whole coven as the fighting grew intense. Nora whimpered, she couldn’t do anything as she just watched as the scene got bloody. Her eyes widened and her inside screamed in pain and anger when Loaner happened to stab Christian.
No!!!!!! She screamed and ran to Christian without caring that she could get injured. “What have you done?” She yelled, glaring hard at Loaner who stepped back in surprise; he felt their bond, they were mates.
He chuckled. “He is your mate?” He asked the oblivious question but she just cried holding unto the wounded Christian. “I am fine…” Christian pulled her cheek and she sobbed the more.
Loaner just watched in hatred and all of a sudden, he wanted to kill Christian by stabbing him as he targeted the stomach and not the shoulder this time but Nora stopped him in time with just her shout, no!!
He was flunged few metres away from them, they looked at her surprisingly but no one had the time to ask her questions because the shout didn’t affect the leader.
Suddenly, the coven went still with Leader Sapphire’s eyes wide open. “You…. you betrayed me again?” She stuttered, staring unbelievably at Voile who smirked at her.
While others were fighting, Voile had found her way to leader Sapphire’s cowry throne and immediately, she stabbed the red light that was blinking on the throne which caused everywhere to go still.
Leader Sapphire stepped back, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Is this not the Voile who’s heart is full of hatred and darkness? “What could have removed the darkness out of you?” She asked.
Voile sighed, it was a shock to herself too but she couldn’t deny it. “Love….” She muttered and Leader Sapphire started laughing at her silly response. All this time, Ellen had gotten the spell and had gestured at the others to come into the circle she created.
Nora pulled Christian up while Brittany quickly went to Milena just before she fell to the ground. “You will regret this…I promise!” The leader groaned in annoyance, “Voile, come on!” Ellen yelled.
The leader just watched them disappear, your doom awaits you all! She uttered, walking majestically to her throne and didn’t even bother about Loaner who was on the ground, lying almost lifeless.
Ellen could only bring them out of there to the front of the palace’s portal as she rested on the edge of the portal weakly, she couldn’t believe the disappearing spell could take about ten people this far.
Milena dropped to the ground weakly and vomited blood, Brittany rushed to help her but stopped when she saw the blood which was spit out, it wasn’t a normal red one but black!
Before she could move forward to try to pull Milena up, Milena managed to stand up herself. “We all tried but now, Voile has proved herself and she is now welcome. Treat her well!” She smiled weakly before dropping to the ground, seeming lifeless.

Ursula and Naptha gasped, seeing them all wounded and looking tired. “What the hell happened?” “Where did you all go to?” They both asked simultaneously but none of them could answer.
Brittany and her sister carried Milena to the bed, Ursula glanced at Naptha who was also surprised. What exactly happened? Ellen and Beverley went straight to get water while Nora removed her mate’s shirt and attended to his wounds.
Voile and Nikita just stood at the far end of the room. “Can someone please explain what happened?” Naptha yelled, rushing to Milena who’s face and lips looked very pale.
They sighed as if they were waiting for who will talk first. “My sister was trying to save me…..” Fire was still saying when Brittany scoffed, cutting her off.
“Your sister? You say your sister?” She repeated and Fire hung her head low, “Was it your sister who singlehandedly saved you? What of her that losed your chains?” Brittany pointed to Voile.
“Or the remaining of us that risked our life to save yours in that dreaded coven?” Brittany shouted and Fire shuddered, Brittany was still angry at her.
Ursula and Naptha gasped in surprise. “Coven??” They asked together, “We went to save her in the coven after knowing the master planner who started the whole trouble with Loaner which happened to be their father.” Brittany explained, pointing at the sisters.
“We succeeded but the leader of the sisters of the dark wouldn’t let us come and go scot-free so she attacked Milena.” Brittany explained further, “She took the Enamel’s blood.” Nikita says.
Naptha collapsed on top of the second bed, this wasn’t good and even Ursula sat down dejectedly. “The darkness is coming but it’s coming so soon.” She muttered, looking at Milena.
Naptha stood up to examine Milena but Ursula stopped her. “Let me do it….” She offered and Naptha didn’t refuse, she let Ursula look at Milena.
Ursula held Milena’s left hand, feeling her pulse. Her eyes widened a little bit, unnoticeably but her heart raced in commotion; there were two pulses beating in one body!
