CHAPTER THIRTEEN : HURTFUL WORDS
Alucard remain still while Leo and Bevin lecture him of the consequence of touching snow after they found me laying in her room last night, her body on mine, her dress pulled up and those lips remain on my neck, looking so provocative ” I was only reading to her”
” your hands was lowering to her arse ” Bevin frown and I clear my throat while sipping my wine ” you need to take this seriously lord Alucard, this is a chance you have been waiting for ”
” I know that ”
” or is it that you are falling for this snow?” Leo eyes fill with curiosity ” have you forgotten about the woman you owe your life, soul and love to”
” am not the kind of person to forget things ” standing up I look outside the window of the east tower to watch snow ” she is just someone I need to keep happy before her death, if she ask for my touch then I will give it to her ”
” my lord, surely you realize what that means ” Bevin mumble ” you know what happens when you embrace a woman, you end up draining them to death ”
” do not remind me of my short coming ” I clench my hands together, my eyes move with snow, how she water the flowers, smiling under the sunlight ” am going out ”
” my lord, have you gone insane” Leo growl getting a glare from me ” forgive my language but you realize you can not step under the sun unless you desire death ”
” I will like to talk to snow ” I furrow my brows at them ” I still have the lotion which the witch prepared for me, though it can last for ten hours under the sun”
Bevin step closer ” my lord, you should save that for a better course ”
” Bevin, Leo” I turn to face them ” you two work under me, you don’t get to boss me around, I know what’s good for me ”
” my lord !” Bevin growl ” we work under you that’s why we care for you, we do not wish for you to throw away your life over such a girl ”
” Bevin is right my lord ” Leo step closer ” you need to think of your life and why you have spent so many time tracking confessors”
” this is the last soul needed my lord ” Bevin growl ” rethink this milord, you can not get fond of her company ”
” hmm” i avert my gaze from them to the window then nod ” I suppose I should go to bed ” after that I watch both of them leave the east tower, I remain standing in the living room, confused about everything.
Why do I so much wish to spend time with snow, why do her company interest me in such ways, I need to stay away for awhile.
I should sleep this off.
Snow place her hat properly, protecting her from the harsh sunlight, the flowers seem to be growing so well but different thoughts keep flowing into my head, why will lord Alucard buy me, if he didn’t want me as a mistress or house maid then what?
Alucard is handsome, rich, just being near him brings me alive, made my blood run hot so why wasn’t he married, surely finding someone to warm his bed won’t be a hassle.
If he asked me to, I would gladly do so.
Heat has nothing to do with the warmth of the flames that suffused on my cheek at my wayward thoughts, with a sigh I close my eyes, summoning his image to my mind, his blue eyes that could burn me with a look, his sharp nose, his full lips.
I could feel my body tingle in every place he has touched, if only he stopped pushing me away, if only he permit me to embrace him, wrap my hands around him.
I flinch at the feel of someone hand on my shoulder, turning around I gasp at the sight of lord Alucard ” lord Alucard? ” I gasp ” you’re out on day light”
He smile ” why does that bother you”
” no my lord” I mumble ” rumors said you’re a man who dwell in darkness ”
” more like a shadow who dwell in darkness ” he mumble but he look rather disturbed, a small cut appearing on his cheeks, his white long sleeves not buttoned fully.
” my lord ” I step closer and touch his cheek, he hiss out in pain ” you’re injured, what happened ”
” I might have forgotten to rob the lotion properly ”
” what lotion?” I asked and he grab my hand, taking me from the garden into the library room, which is the closest ” my lord ”
” last night ” he mumble pining me to the wall ” you did something to me, you creep into my head, I just can’t stop thinking bout the feel of your Brë@št on my bare chest, your bare thigh robbing all over me ”
My cheeks heat up at those lewd words ” Lord Alucard ” I mutter ” you shouldn’t say such things, they are not appropriate ”
” what did you do to me sweet snow ” he look like he is in pain, he look like he is struggling, trying to keep his eyelids from closing.
He look sleepy.
” my lord, are you alright ”
He step back running his hands through his hair” I came here to ask one thing from you snow ” he look at me ” flee, flee before I do something I might regret ”
” what are you saying, are you drunk ”
” if only I know what’s happening to me snow, if only I know why am reacting to you in such a way, if only I know how to go back to my reserve self ” he choke the words out ” if only I know how to push you away and not try getting you back” he lean close, lips touching my cheek as he whisper ” if only I know how to kill you without feeling pain ” and after that he left.
Leaving me with confused interpretation of his words, last night was fine, he read the book, joke and I fell asleep, what have changed.
What do he mean by flee, what do he mean by killing me without feeling pain….why is his words always so confusing.
Why do he change characters always, cold, romantic, harsh and sweet ” pay no heed to what he said ” the red hair man step into the room, its the first time he is talking to me ” he is drunk, whenever the lord is drunk he speaks gibberish ”
” I see ”
” I have advice for you snow ” he step closer ” marry him but before then stay away from him, he bought you for marriage, nothing else….you need to know your place as his property which he can do as he please with ” and the man left after speaking hurtful words.
Its the second time someone is calling me a property.
