CHAPTER FORTY TWO: PROLONG ENCOUNTER 3
Snow remain still, many thoughts running through my head, where do I start from and end, how do I get the truth out of all these, what is Alucard relationship with his look alike
Falling back on the bed I exhale, feeling exhausted from everything happening, Alucard and I haven’t spend any day with each other, no fun, no chat
I need to make sure he is no longer angry with me and after that I will think of doing something about his look alike, standing up I walk out of the room to the hallway ” Leo” calling out Leo name, he stop walking then turn to my direction, giving me his usual smile ” do you have any idea where Alucard is?”
He nod ” his study room milady ”
” direction”
” turn left, the only room in that hallway ”
” thanks ” doing as he said I turn to the left and knock on the door ” come in ” opening the door I frown, its not a study room but a bedroom, the man sitting there seem to be confused ” and you are?”
” am sorry, its a….” Before I could finish my sentence he wave his hand, cutting me off completely ” I should go ” after mumbling that, everything happened so fast, him grabbing my hand, pulling me in, shutting the door and pining me on the wall with a knife close to my neck
” who sent you ” he growl ” that bastard king of yours have decided to finish me off right ”
” No, is not what you think I…..” He didn’t let me finish before placing the knife at my knife, cutting me a bit, no one need to tell me before I know he will kill me.
My eyes quickly change its colour to brown ” drop your knife and obey my orders, from now on you are my servant, you are only to obey my orders and nothing else
He drop the knife then bow down ” yes milady ” immediately after that the door flung open revealing a worried Alucard, he look at the man then me ” did he touch you ” he rush over yo my side, his gaze move yo the blood around my neck and his eyes darken ” Devlin you bastard ” he rush over to his side, giving him blows after blows
” Alucard, stop, stop it ” holding his hand I pull him back ” its okay ”
” this bastard touch you ”
” is okay Alucard, he is under my control, he has been confessed ” Alucard look at me before dragging me out of the room, he seem angry and he keep walking fast ” what’s wrong” no reply ” Alucard!”
He said nothing expect dragging me out of the hallway into the house in the ranch, closing the door, we want upstairs, ye let go of my hands then sit on the bed, his gaze not leaving me ” did I do something wrong ”
” no ” he shake his head ” what took you to his room ”
” I was looking for your study room to meet you, Leo directed me to that room, I never expected someone else to be there ”
” hmmmm” he exhale falling back on the bed ” can I let you on a secrete ”
” yes ”
” am tired ” his voice suddenly down ” this kingdom affairs are wearing me down, a war is coming up, things are happening, I have no idea how to fix all that ”
” Alucard…..”
He cut me off, his face really pale, have he been feeding” I barely have time for myself these days ”
” when last did you feed ”
” can’t tell ” moving close to him, I sit on his lap and he quickly sit up ” Alucard”
” I have so many things on my head and you keep acting up, saying I was cheating, falling unconscious, accusing me of having a child ” he frown ” all these are preposterous, who is feeding you these lies, how many times will I tell you to trust me ”
” I want the truth ”
” not everyone is meant to know the truth ”
” you promised Elizabeth to bring her back to life ” my words made his gaze widen ” you were hurt but why didn’t you cry, no tears ”
” what are you saying ” he chuckle ” I told you repeatedly that men don’t shed tears, tears are for the weak, am not weak ”
” Alucard ” I touch his face ” do you want to cry?”
” no” he smile ” thanks for your concern but no, am not the type to cry ”
” won’t you cry if am to die ‘
” stop muttering those words, just promise me you will stay out of this ”
” I want to know more about you Alucard, I want to know everything they is to do with you ”
” snow ”
” it still perplex me why you don’t want me to know all these things ” I try standing from his lap but his hands around my waist stop me ” I h@të that you have to lie to me ”
” you can make me say the truth” he frown ” why not do that ”
” I love you” I smile ” I can’t do that because I love and care for you, I don’t want you to obey all my orders, I wish for us to be equal, to tell one another our truth, I don’t want is hiding things from one another ”
” snow ”
” that’s what I want Alucard, can’t you give that to me?” Silence fall between us after that, his hands loosen from my waist as he run them through his hair ” what do you say Alucard ”
” I love you snow ” he nod ” that’s why am keeping this from you ”
” then drink from me ” I title my head to my left ” drink from me or can’t you do that too?”
” snow ”
” do it Alucard ” I watch his fangs elongate before he lean close, his gaze watch me, probably waiting for me to stop him, getting no respond from me
He pierce his fangs into my neck and I gasp out of pain mix with pleasure, I did this because I was angry, because I wanted him to know am available for all what he needs
Why won’t he trust me and tell me the truth.
