CHAPTER FORTY NINE: SECOND WIFE
Alucard watch the building snow was in fall down into pieces, they is no way anyone can survive through such a thing, my gaze move to Ares who is standing and grinning widely ” You must be joking ” I growl but no matter how many times I try to move my body, it seem like his spell just get more powerful.
” I told you ” he move close to me ” you belong to me and absolutely nothing will change that ” I watch how he flick his fingers and that’s all it took for my location to change, I suddenly stand in a dark corner.
Looking around I realized am no longer in that forest, snow isn’t here either ” Ares!” Growling I squeeze my hands, they is so much a vampire can not do but am dracula, how can a half wizard torture me in such ways.
” Dracula is it?” Hearing that voice I turn to the direction it’s coming from ” I have heard a lot about you ”
” Who are you?” Mumbling I watch as she step closer, her blond hair making this hell hole a little brighter.
” A witch” she smile, her green eyes glitter ” trap in here with you ”
” Surely a witch can’t be in here, you have magic unless you’re half ”
” You don’t recognize me” she look sad as she mumble ” am Elizabeth” my eyes widen from that ” your wife ” minutes passed and I said nothing, absolutely nothing surprise me at this point, this could be another Ares trick to fool me.
Seconds once again passed before I laugh ” my wife ” shaking my head I frown ” I have no wife, all I can remember is that she is dead ”
” Why ” she sniff ” why did you forget me?”
” Stop muttering words you know nothing of ”
” You said you loved me ”
” I loved my wife! Not you!” Moving close I grab her by the neck ” you do not compare, you are nothing to her, absolutely nothing ”
” Remember me!”
Snow struggle from Alucard grip, she has no idea why he keep comparing her to his late wife but she knows one thing, if this continues, she is likely to die be soon ” Alucard, stop!!!!”
” You are nothing to me ”
Placing my hands on his hands I try removing his hand as I hit them with all my force, tears dropping from my eyes the moment I find it hard to breath ” please stop ” mumbling for the last time, his hands let go of my neck and he finally open his eyes, he looked tortured.
” Who are you?” From his voice you will know he doesn’t believe it is I ” where am I? Why am I here…..where is Elizabeth?” Is he traumatized.
” Elizabeth?” I look at him confused ” she is no where to be found, Alucard your wife is dead ”
“Impossible!” He growl and am left to worry, he doesn’t remember me, is this a trick or the truth, can Alucard really forget who I am.
” Don’t you remember me?” I asked, rain threatening to fall ” am snow, the one you love, please tell me you remember me” the trees in the forest move slowly, Alucard face look blank, he might have really lost his memory.
After I escaped from the church and watch how it collapsed, I hurry here noticing that the magic barrier has disappear and that the forest looked different, more alive, lively, Ares must have taken us somewhere else, I found Alucard on the ground, unconscious and trembling, what did Ares do to him.
” What about Ares” I asked ” do you remember him?”
” I do” Alucard stand to his feet, I have never seen him looking this confused in my life before, he run his hands through his hair, look at me then avert his gaze all over again ” I know he is my stepson but he isn’t important, I told you, I need to see my wife ”
” Alright ” my agreement made him to turn and stare at me, even when he lose his to memory, I guess he still get suspicious of people ” I will take you to meet your wife ”
” Am sorry miss ” he frown ” I do not trust you, I feel you are born to deceive me and I can’t take that ”
” Who in their right mind will learn to deceive the dracula ”
” Exactly, I have no idea why you keep calling me Alucard ” he frown again ” that’s not my name nor do I want it to be ”
” Forgive me for my childish act then ” I mumble standing to my feet ” can I hug you milord ”
” Why should I permit that ”
” Because I miss you ” tears drop from my eyes ” because I love you ”
” I am a married man” he mumble ” your love is preposterous ”
” I do not care ”
” I suppose you’re one of my concubines?”
” No milord ” this made him furrow his brows ” am your second wife ” that surprised him, he step back and look around not believing my words.
” That’s just scandalous” he growl ” I do not believe I engage myself in another marriage ”
” But you did milord ” I push on the matter “and am pretty sad you can discard me so casually as if I matter not to you!”
” What’s your name ”
” Snow ” I mumble ” Snow dracula ”
” And you love me?”
” Yes milord ” I swallow, I have to say something that will make him stick closer to me ” I am also having your child soon ” and I think that sealed our fate because he stop moving, just remain standing and surprise while I repeat my words ” I am pregnant for you ” with each word I take a step closer to him ” can I get a hug now ” no response came from him so I did it anyway, placing my head on his chest and crying.
No matter what, I won’t let you split out of my fingers…..Alucard is mine and mine alone
