β Whatβs he trying to do?β She and Mu Yul said coincidentally in their heads. Blueberry faced Mu Yul who raised his brows.
β What? Why are you giving me such looksβ He asked cluelessly.
β You said youβre sorry about yesterday right?β Blueberry asked and he nodded slowly, not sure of what Blueberry had to say. Blueberry walked to him and leaned closer.
β You know how to make yourself invisible right?β He asked in a whisper.
β Yeahβ¦ I think?β Mu Yul replied, still not getting what Blueberry was trying to say.
β Okay β Blueberry smiled and faced Devyn. β Weβll be back β He said, but Devyn was speechless. Sheβs been staring at him and the last word he said kept her thinking and she tried to figure out what he meant.
β What do you think is happening?β She asked Lesley.
β I think he likes you. Iβm not sure thoughβ Lesley replied as they watched the two boys leave.
β Likes me? No, he canβt! I canβt like him cos Maikel is all that matters to me. I should tell him how much I love Maikel so heβs gonna stop any feelings he has for meβ She said to herself.
β How would he like me when he doesnβt even know me?β She chuckled softly and Lesley nodded in agreement. They were forced to face front when they heard the students murmuring.
They looked at the stage and saw Mr. Zander laughing hysterically cos he felt someone touching him.
β Please stop itβ¦ hahahaβ¦ β He laughed so much that he began to cry, yet wh@tΓ«ver was tickling him didnβt stop.
The invisible force held his legs, turning him upside down and his shirt covered his face.

The students tried not to laugh at Mr. Zanderβs protruded stomach. Miss Rachel and the other judges glanced at each other confusedly. When they try to hold Mr. Zander, the force would toss him in another direction.
β Whatβs that lunatic doing?β Rema frowned and the rest of the boys looked at the stage.
β Superman?β Sweetheart almost laughed. Ian was trying to hold his laughter, but immediately sweetheart said β Supermanβ he lost it. Soon, he was laughing more than everyone else.
β Has he gone mΓ d?β Alistair wondered aloud.
β Iβm not sure either β Maikel replied as they watched the judge fly around the stage.
β You think itβs ordinary? Ian fainted on that stage tooβ Valerie said and the boys looked at him, each of them trying to reason sense to what he just said. They all faced the stage to keep staring at what was going on.
β Please let me downβ Mr Zander pleaded weakly and the unseen force placed him back on his seat.
Blueberry giggled from where he was watching. He then snapped his fingers and Mu Yul appeared in from of him.
β That old man was quite heavy β Mu Yul breathed out.

β Last time Iβll be doing you a favor β Mu Yul glared and Blueberry laughed.
β Wh@tΓ«verβ¦ Letβs go meet the othersβ Blueberry said and they both went back into the auditorium to meet Devyn and Lesley.
β Now replay β Blueberry smirked as he watched Judge Zander hold back the mic. Angel moved her gaze to Blueberry but she quickly looked away when Blueberry stared at her cos he felt eyes on him.
β Hello, studentsβ¦ I think there was a mistake somewhere. For a bit, I forgot Marvins finished performing before the incident, so I still proclaiming them the winner of the first showβ Mr Zander managed to say cos he was feeling uncomfortable.

β This is quite interesting β Gemma scoffed. She actually wanted Marvins to be kicked out.
β What happened? β Devyn faced Blueberry but he ignored her and just watched the judges.
β So right now, Marvins are going to perform for the second roundβ Mr. Zander said and the curtains that were lifted were put down.
β I donβt know what just happened but Iβm grateful to wh@tΓ«ver magic that just took placeβ Maikel smiled as he touched Ianβs face.
β Grandma will be watching us soon β He said as they mounted the stage to perform.

Nash chuckled at what he heard.
β Iβm Maikelβs babyβ¦ Iβm taken, sorryβ He said and the crowd laughed.
Everything about him fascinated their fans.

He smiled even more when he heard that.
π₯ Val, can you go deeper this time? That voice sounds so sΓ«xy.
π₯ Sweetheartβ¦ you didnβt pick my calls, I almost had a heart attack.
β If I didnβt pick your call, then I was busy thinking about youβ He winked and Valerie laughed at Sweetheartβs childish reply.
β And whoβs ready for M.A.R.V.I.N.S?β Maikel asked and a loud deafening scream erupted from the students.
β Even without singing, if theyβre to cast a vote, Iβm sure Marvins will still take all the gloryβ Lesley said as they watched the boys sing.
Anytime each of them sings, the screams got even louder.
β Go Maikel!!β Devyn screamed. Her scream penetrated Blueberryβs ears and he shuddered.
β I might go deaf at this pointβ He rubbed his ears and left the place with Mu Yul. Devyn and Lesley kept watching MARVINS dreamingly as they performed.

Cecilia entered her office since she just got to work. She met her boss, Jayden, and she tried not to look nervous.
She always comes to work late, but what could she do as a single mother? She has to cook for her kid and make sure sheβs comfortable before coming to work. She takes the cab and traffic was another thing entirely.
β Good morning Sir β She bowed slightly.
β What says your time?β He asked and she swallowed nothing.
β Iβm sorry Sir β She said instead and He left her desk which he sat on and walked to her. He leaned closer and she breathed out nervously.
β If you continue this way, you might lose your job for real β He said to her hearing before standing properly.
β Why were you cleaning my office yesterday?β He asked.
β The cleaner was late, so I did it instead β She replied.
β Theyβre some docvments youβll have to work on. See me in my officeβ He said and walked away.
β If you continue this way, you might lose your job for realβ Cecilia mimicked, making funny faces.
β I heard heβs not married yet, and heβs in his early forties? No wonder he knows nothing about how a single mom works before coming to work and then I work my butt out here just for him to keep complaining β She rolled her eyes and turned to the door.
β Ohβ¦ myβ¦ FΕ―Γ§Ζβ¦β She exclaimed when she saw him leaning against the door.
She took out a pen and a piece of paper from her bag, she wrote her resignation later and handed it to Jayden. She bowed to him and left the office. Jayden didnβt stop her as he watched her leave.
β Really Cecilia? β He sighed as he walked into his office with her resignation letter.

Angel sang already, and so did the other groups. It was left Devyn and Lesley and after they perform, the second round ends and the results comes out.
β And now, letβs welcomeβ¦ Devyn and Lesley!!β The host shouted and the crowd screamed. Yeah, were all in love with how Devyn played the piano so they wanted to hear more.
Devyn started walking towards the stage, but someone bumped into her, spilling the cup of very hot coffee on her both hands.
β Ouch!β She winced and quickly turned to see who it was. She almost cried when she noticed it was Gemma.
β Why today?β She asked, tears already gathering in her eyes. Lesley was already on stage while Devyn stared at her already red hands that stings so much.
How was she gonna play? It seemed that was gonna be the end for her. Slowly while sniffing, she found her way to the stage and sat in front of the piano.
Gemma smirked from where she stood.
β Letβs see how youβre gonna play with those fingers β She muttered and walked away. Angel looked at her, then at Devyn.
β You can do it. Believe in your abilityβ She muttered and left the place.
Devyn placed her hands on the keyboard and closed her eyes as she began playing softly, trying to forget the pain her fingers were making her go through.
Tears began to leave her eyes cause the pain was too much, but she was ready to endure it since Maikel promised he was gonna listen to her play.
Lesley picked her line and began singing slowly, her tiny voice ringing sweetness into the listenersβ ears.
After a while, they were done singing and Lesley went to Gemma immediately after she sighted her.
β You did that to Devyn, didnβt you?β She said and Gemma scoffed.
β What if she did?β Honesty asked from behind while Lesley laughed briefly, but maniacally.
β Get ready to diΓ© after tomorrowβs showβ She bumped into them as she went to meet Devyn who was getting her hands treated.
Blueberry stared at Gemma, then at Honesty then back at the stage where the judges were seated already.
β So today, weβll be quick. Just three groups made it to the final round. I wouldβve loved to include the fourth group but Iβm not, because tomorrow, itβs gonna be an hour show and the winner wonβt only go home with the glory, theyβll also be privilege to take pictures with their favorite popular artistsβ Judge Zander said and the students all gathered to listen.
β The first on our list is MARVINS! β He announced and the students jubilated.
β Second here is ANGEL!! The third position goes to BEAUTIES!β
β Yes!! β Elvire and Harriet hugged each other.
β The fourth on our list are Devyn and Lesley but Iβm sorry just the first three will be performing tomorrow. You all did great and I canβt wait to see you give in your best tomorrowβ Judge Zander said and the students screamed ceaselessly. Miss Rachel smiled slightly as she left the stage with the rest.
β What just happened?β Honesty asked.
β Am I dreaming?β Gemma asked, shocked.
β Thatβs what you get for your evil deed. Your deed just made you lose the gameβ Blueberry said from behind and he left, leaving Gemma speechless. Emerald sighed sadly as she left the hall.
β I should go see Angelβ Harriet said and Elvire nodded. When Angel heard it, she left the hall before anyone could notice.
Devyn hastened her steps to meet Gemma who was about to enter her car.
β Hope I surprised you? Donβt worry, more is comingβ She grinned, before going to meet Lesley who gave her thumbs up.
β But whoβs that Angel of a girl? I should meet her βLesley said. They were about to enter the hall when they came across MARVINS, the security was helping them out because of their fans who wanted to touch them.
β You did well β Devyn read Maikelβs lips and her cheeks turned red. Lesley pulled her into the Hall cos she was staring too much already.
They almost bumped into Harriet, but they were able to avoid it.
β Weβre sorry β They apologized.
β Oh, Devyn, Lesley.. you both did great out thereβ Harriet smiled as she looked around.
β Looking for someone?β Lesley asked and she nodded.
β Yeah, Angel! I wanna talk to her. Did you both see her? Which way did she go?β
β I think she left cos I also looked for her immediately after the results were calledβ Lesley replied.
β Oh, I see. Thanks anyway, and congrats girls. You both did so well out there β Harriet smiled and left.
β Sheβs nice. I wonder where she saw Elvira and Zora β Devyn said as she sighted Berry.
β I think I should go home now, see you tomorrow. I need to come watch MARVINS perform. Will you come?β
β Yeah, I have to see Nash perform β Lesley replied and Devyn nodded. They hugged and parted ways.

β Your hands, does it hurt?β Blueberry asked while she shook her head.
β It doesnβt anymore. Iβll be fine before you know it β Devyn smiled as they walked into the house. They met Cecilia in tears.
β Mom?β Devyn called and Cecilia wiped her tears.
β Baby β
β What happened? Why are you crying?β Devyn asked, walking to her mom.
Cecilia explained all that happened to Devyn.
β Itβs not your fault, okay? Iβm sure theyβll call you back. Itβs not your fault that at 42 he isnβt married, so he would never know how you struggled every timeβ She wiped her momβs tears before pulling her into a hug.
β How was the show?β
β Didnβt make it to the finals, but we came out fourth β
β Really?β She asked and Devyn nodded.
β Iβm so proud of you β She hugged her daughter again.
β And you Berry, shouldnβt you learn how to sing? I mean if one day my baby gets her voice back, you both could sing together you knowβ Cecilia faced Blueberry.
β Sing? The last time I sang, I got kicked out of the hall β
β That wasnβt singing. You and Mu Yul were shouting β Devyn laughed.
β Isnβt shouting and singing the same thing? Everyone was doing it tooβ
β Donβt worry, Iβll download some music videos for you, that way, you might learnβ Devyn smiled and he nodded.
β I made lunch. Letβs eat something since Iβve become jobless againβ Cecilia pouted as she took them to the dining.

Gemma kept walking in circles since she couldnβt believe they werenβt qualified for the finals. She balled her fist tightly when she remembered Blueberryβs words.
β Itβs all because of you Devynβ She gritted out with deep hatred dripping from each of her words.
β I donβt mind dying just to see you fall. How dare you ruin everything for us?β She said angrily, ruffling her hair like a mΓ d woman.

β It saddens me that I couldnβt find Angel. I only wanted to compliment her on her angelic voice β Harriet pouted.
β Who could have believed Devyn and Lesley would beat SUNSHINE?β Elvire asked.
β Boring β Elvira scoffed and left with Zora. Elvire rolled her eyes and resumed talking with Harriet, ignoring the two girls that just left.

MARVINS RESIDENCE
The boys hugged each other before seating on the couch.
β After tomorrowβs show? Which artist should we take a picture with?β
β BTS β Rema and Valerie said.
β I go for straykids β Sweetheart, Alistair, and Ian said at a time. Maikel and Nash exchanged glances.
β Which do you go for?β Maikel asked and Nash stared at Rema and Valerie who urged him to say BTS while Sweetheart and his group wanted him to say straykids.
β Iβll go withβ¦ β He paused and stared at Maikel.
β Myself β He replied and left for his room. β Iβm tired and sleepy β They heard him say from his room.
β What about you?β Ian asked Maikel.
β Tomorrow x together. I want to take a picture with Choi Yeonjun β He pouted.
β All the same, majority wins the vote β Maikel said.
β Yes!!β Ian and Sweetheart screamed.

DEVYNβS HOME ~ 11 PM.
Blueberry opened his eyes slowly and saw himself amid galaxies. The stars formed a closer and the moon stood solely at the center. It was so bright that he had to look down.
β Where am I?β He wondered aloud.
β We brought you here so youβd know who you truly are β He heard a voice from the star cLΕ«$ter.
β Huh? β
β As you know it, youβre one of us and every human on Earth has his or her star. Just like how you belong to someone β
β Okay, but why was I sent here?β He asked.
β To Grant her three heart desires. Heartfelt wishes! As of today, you canβt keep granting her wishes, unless you desire to do so yourself. You also must protect her from harm β The biggest star among the other stars beamed more.
β But I have magic β
β Yes, because youβre not human β He heard from the star cLΕ«$ters and after that, everything faded away. He opened his eyes slowly and realized he was in his room.
β Am a star, a celestial. Then why arenβt I glowing anymore?β
β Oh, Lesley, she noticed β He said again.
β I have to protect her?β He asked. He couldnβt get a wink of sleep till the next morning.

NEXT DAY
Blueberry left his room all dressed and met Devyn all dressed as well. They already made up their minds to see Marvins perform.
They ate breakfast in a hurry and Devyn went to her mom and K!SSed her cheeks.
β Donβt worry, your boss will come around. Iβll be back late cos I need to celebrate with Maikel after the showβ Devyn said.
β Bye Cecilia β Blueberry waved and Cecilia chuckled.
β Iβve told him to stop calling me that, but he wouldnβt listenβ She laughed and resumed eating. She remembered she submitted her resignation letter and her heart sank again.
β Itβs gonna be great Cecilia β She assured herself.

ALL-STAR MUSIC SCHOOL
The hall was filled up and the students were all waiting for MARVINS to win cos everyone rooting for them.
Devyn found her way to them while Mu Yul tapped Blueberry from behind.
β You came?β Blueberry asked and he nodded.
β I knew you would come, so I came β
β Why? Are we close?β Blueberry asked.
β You donβt forget things, do you?β Mu Yul hissed while Blueberry rolled his eyes
Not long after, MARVINS started performing and Devyn kept smiling throughout.
β Hey β Lesley touched her.
β Why are you just coming?β
β I got menstrual cramps throughout last night. It just relieved me moments agoβ
β Sorry about that, okay?β Devyn said and she nodded as they watched the boys perform. They sang for three minutes and their song came to an end. Angel went up next, and after she was done, Beauties performed too.
Judge Zander stood in front of the students who couldnβt help but scream.
β And the winner is? β

The crowd chorused.
Lesleyβs eyes traced Angel who was leaving the auditorium, and so did Harrietβs. Devyn and Blueberry followed her behind while Mu Yul stayed in the auditorium.
Angel noticed Harriet was almost getting to her she increased her footsteps but someone pulled her into a corner and a gasp left her mouth.
β Thank Berry β Lesley breathed out as she approached Angel with Devyn.
β Hi Angel, Iβm Lesleyβ¦ β
β I know β Angel replied and Lesley nodded.
β Iβve been looking for you since yesterday and I wanted to talk to you but you seem to be avoiding everyone, why?β
β Can I see your face? You look like someone I knowβ Devyn chipped in and Lesley looked at her.
β Sorry I canβt β Angel said and somehow, Blueberry felt like she wanted to disappear so he pinned her down.
β Release me and Iβll show you the face you all want to seeβ She said and slowly, Blueberry released her. She held the black veil covering her face and took it off.
Their eyes almost popped out of their sockets as they stared at her. Lesley looked at Devyn who also had a shocked expression.
β Whyβ¦ why do you have Devynβs face?β Lesley asked, shocked.
