Zora and Elvira kept laughing as they drove away. No doubt they were very pleased with what they did to Devyn.
” Did you notice?” Elvira asked.
” What? ”
” A part of her face was burnt, but I’m not too sure though. I’ll find out later” Elvira said.
” If that’s true, I’m sure we have something on her now. Something that can make her kill herself” Zora laughed heartily
Elvira’s eyes suddenly widened when she saw a bike coming in their direction.
” Watch out!” She screamed while Zora quickly rerouted the car before coming to a halt. The bike stopped too. From the stature, one could tell the bike’s owner was a girl.
Zora and Elvira left the car at once. They got towards the bike and the girl in a black hoodie left her bike too without taking off her helmet.
” Are you cràzy? Do you wanna get us killed? Do you even know us?” Elvira yelled and the unknown girl sighed.
” One question at a time dummy, but since you asked three questions at once, I’ll give a reply to them all”
” Yeah, I think I lost my mind and that’s why I’m here. Do I wanna get you killed? Of course yes, because you two don’t deserve to live. And about knowing you? Who cares who you are?” She asked as she walked towards them while they shifted back.
” Who are you and what do you want from us?” Zora swallowed nothing.
” Who am I? I’m everywhere you go. Even in your sleep, you’ll see me. I’m your worst nightmare, and you’ve just touched someone you shouldn’t have touched and I’m here to do the same with you both” She said, and before Elvira could think of running, the unknown girl grabbed her hand. She turned her around and slapped her right cheek, then her left cheek before flipping her over her shoulder.
Elvira fell to the ground and her waist made a loud cracking sound.
” Ahh, eomma!!” She cried. Zora’s eyes widened and the unknown girl left Elvira.
” Come here ” She signaled with her index finger and Zora took slow steps towards her till she got in front of her.
” So, how do you want it? A broken bone, bruised face, or blind?” The unknown girl asked and Zora’s eyes widened.
” Three seconds to choose ” She added and began counting.
” 3… 2… ”
” Bruised face ” Zora said in tears and according to her wish, the girl slapped and punched her face, leaving her with a burst lip, a bleeding nose, and a swollen forehead.
” Like I said, I’m everywhere. Next time, I’ll take your soul like the grim reapers do ” The unknown said and entered her bike before speeding off.
” Elvira!” Zora whimpered.
” It hurts, Zora. I’m in pain” Elvira cried loudly.

Devyn opened her eyes slowly and sat upright, rubbing her eyes.
” How did I get on this?” She wondered as her eyes scanned the area. Her eyes landed on the strange guy who was staring at her, still Ɲ@kēɗ.
” It can’t be real, I’m sure am dreaming?” She rubbed her eyes, thinking she was dreaming or imagining things but she wasn’t.
“Wait, he’s for real? ” She wondered and looked at him again. Her eyes met his Ďïčk again and she gulped before looking elsewhere.
” Don’t you know it’s wrong for an adult like you to walk Ɲ@kēɗ?” She cleared her throat and backed him, removing her jacket and stretching it to him.
” Use this to cover up ” She said again, but he didn’t take it.
Her arm was starting to hurt, but still, he didn’t take it.
She exhaled deeply and put down her hand.
” I’ll help you with it then ” With her eyes closed, she turned around and started going towards him while he just stared at her strangely, trying to fathom where he was.
Devyn got to him and since her eyes were closed, she bumped into him. She suddenly let out a sharp painful gasp when she felt a hand around her wrist. It was d@mn tight and was hurting too, but she didn’t open her eyes.
” I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it. You’re Ɲ@kēɗ and it’s not good if an opposite séx sees your Ɲ@kēɗness” She said but he still held her wrist firmly that she was feeling the pain real hard.
” I’m not an enemy, okay? I just want to help you… you need to believe me” She said and the guy slowly released her hands while she breathed out in relief.
She stood properly as her hands traced his body until they got to his waistline.
” Here we go ” She muttered and tied her jacket around his waist before opening her eyes
“Oops… You’ll just have to manage it that way” She said but the guy just keep staring at her without a word.
The jacket could only cover his dîçk, so his àss was exposed.
” It’s good this way. At least the most important part is covered” She breathed out as she stared at him. His long hair was covering a part of his eyes and he had this pointed nose and a double eyelid. His lashes were just too long for a guy’s.
His chest was broad and his abs enticing. He looked really charming even though he was acting weird.
“Can’t believe I’m admiring a stranger” Devyn cleared her throat and then faced the stranger who was still staring at her without blinking his long lashes.
“Who are you? Do you leave around here?” She asked, but he kept mute.
” You don’t talk?” She asked again yet he didn’t say a thing as he only stared at her.
” Is he dumb? Dumb and pretty? It’s unbelievable” She said loudly, but the guy in front of her just kept staring at her like some kind of statue.
” Jeez! He’s not saying anything and I really need to go home ” She grumbled under her breath.
” I actually came here to kill myself but I guess I’m not ready to die yet. I’ll just stay at home with mom, writing my music and singing it in my head cos that’s where I get the sweetest voice ” She smiled sadly.
” I’ll head home now. Hope you get home safely and get something to wear. It’s pretty cold outside” She said with a smile and began walking away.
She looked back after taking few steps but he hadn’t left his spot.
” Why aren’t you moving? Is your house far?” She asked staring at her wristwatch. It was almost 11 pm.
” Oh my! Mom must be so worried now, but What do I do with him? I’d have loved to give him transport fare, but I have no money with me!” She muttered inaudibly before facing him again.
“My house isn’t that big but we’ve got a storage room and an extra mattress. Mom is welcoming too, so if you know you can’t go home tonight, maybe… You can come spend the night at our place and leave tomorrow. It’s late and I’m sure you must be hungry ” She said going back to him.
She made to hold his hand, but he shifted back.
” I’m harmless, just trust me for today. At least, you helped me. I’m alive because you showed up so this is the little I think I can offer for harshly saving me, I must say” She said and the stranger didn’t say a word.
” Fine, I won’t hold you. Just follow me on your own” She took short steps forward. She looked back and realized he was still standing on the spot.
” It might be dangerous out here at night and I’ve promised not to hold or touch you. You can walk on your own while I lead the way ”
” You’ve got to trust me. I’m totally harmless ” Shd said and faced front, taking few more steps ahead. He took short steps and she smiled when she felt his movement. She turned and he stopped walking.
Right now, a snail would be faster than him but Devyn didn’t bother, she faced front and began walking again while the stranger followed behind till they got out of the shallow forest.
His steps were beginning to get longer and that made Devyn chuckle secretly.
” Thank goodness this place is isolated” She smiled.
She was happy people weren’t on the way as they walked down the street together. She was five steps ahead of the handsome stranger.
Her house wasn’t that far from the place so she wanted to walk faster but then she thought of him, slowed down a little.
She glanced at her phone and realized it was 20 mins to 11 pm already. She was tired of walking slowly, so she stopped and faced the stranger.
” Are you still scared of me?” She asked, but the guy walked up to her and stood at her right side.
” This is good now. Let’s walk faster cos my mom would be worried sick and I’m sure she would’ve cried her eyes out”
She smiled slightly as they continued their walk down the street together. They came across few passersby and Devyn swallowed hard, yet she tried not to look embarrassed. It was night time and her face wouldn’t be recognized easily.
Those that saw them kept staring at the Ɲ@kēɗ guy strangely.

” let their stares not get to you. No one in this modern era walks Ɲ@kēɗ like this, so please understand” Devyn faced the guy but he didn’t look concerned or bothered.
” Ahh, I see it means nothing to you” She muttered.
She stretched her hands towards him and he stared at it.
” You should hold my hands” She used her second hand to place his right hand in her palm. She held it firmly before smiling at him.
” You’ve got a soft hand” She said but he didn’t say anything as he stared at his hands on hers.
” Let’s go ” She said and began walking away with him while he kept staring at their interlocked hands.
Why was she holding him?

<< MARVINS MANSION ” Maikel” Rema called as he walked to him. ” Yeah?” “You’ve been quiet, is something bothering you?” ” I bet he’s thinking of the girl from earlier. I saw him touch her hair” Sweetheart replied instead. ” What!!” The other boys exclaimed, except for Nash. ” Is something wrong with that? Hyung is not gay. It might be love at first sight” Sweetheart laughed. Maikel laughed briefly. What will he do with his kid brothers? They were his poison and his antidote. ” Alistair ” Maikel called and he left the kitchen with a bowl of popcorn. ” Those are my clothes, Ali ” Valerie said while Alistair grinned. ” Then what were they doing in my wardrobe?” He laughed awkwardly. ” I’ll get you another one.” He winked. That has always been him. He loves wearing anything he sees. It didn’t bother him if it belonged to him or not, as far as it was something wearable, he would wear it. ” Don’t tell me that! You’ve worn five of my clothes just within three days already” Valerie said. ” You should know he’ll wear Maikel’s clothes during the concert” Ian said, as he took selfies with his phone. taking his phone to do what he knows best.. taking selfies ” Well, Alistair, did Sweet…” ” Sweet bitter leaf ” Sweetheart cut in sharply. ” Y’all need to really stop calling me sweetheart. It sounds so awkward in your mouths” Sweetheart pleaded. ” And when girls call you?” Valerie asked. ” It sounds sëxy ” Sweetheart winked. ” If any lady comes here and says she’s pregnant, you’re taking responsibility” Rema said. ” Aww, I’m hurt ” Sweetheart whined. ” Only Maikel and Valerie knows I can’t get any girl pregnant” ” Why? You have low sperm count?” Valerie asked. ” Yah! Are you crazy? My sperm is very much healthy!” Sweetheart shouted. ” Really?” Ian laughed hard. He’s gifted when it comes to laughing. He can make one cry only with his laughter. Most times, he laughs and rolls on the floor with tears leaving his eyes. ” That wasn’t funny ” Sweetheart feigned anger. ” It wasn’t, I agree ” Rema smothered a laugh. ” I’m sorry, okay? I also want to stop myself from laughing but I just can’t stop it. It’s not working” Ian said, still laughing. Nash shook his head and stood up from the couch, he walked up to Ian and force the hankie he was holding into Ian’s mouth, shutting him up. ” I need to sleep, you’re too loud” he scolded before walking back to the couch. ” Yaahhhh!” Maikel suddenly screamed and the boys froze. Ian immediately choked on his saliva and began to cough. ” Maikel..” They all called. ” You guys are behaving like kids!” ” Of course, Sweet… ” ” No no no… Rema” Sweetheart interrupted, but Rema ignored him. ” Sweetheart is still a kid, he’s just 19. What do you expect from him?” Rema asked. Sweetheart began to fake tears. ” What’s the problem again?” Nash faced him. He was getting tired and their noise was making him feel sleepy. ” He just called me Sweetheart” Sweetheart whined while Ian facepalmed himself. ” Isn’t that your name?” Nash asked and he pouted. ” I wonder when he will grow up” Alistair shook his head while Valerie giggled. That’s one thing about them. They loved and cherished each other. They support each other and don’t discriminate at all. They treat themselves the same; one of the reasons everyone loves them. ” Let’s practice” Maikel said and they all stared at him. Within seconds, everyone was already in their rooms except for Nash who was still on the couch. A small smile escaped Maikel’s lips as he noticed Nash wasn’t against the idea. ” Should we?” He asked with a smile. ” Yeah… yeah of course. let’s do that in my dreams, okay?” Nash stood up and yawned as he proceeded to his room. Maikel’s jaw dropped. ★ ☩☩☩☩☩☩☩ DEVYN’S HOME Devyn got into the house and met her mom crying while parading in front of their house. ” She must’ve been worried” Devyn muttered, releasing the hand of the stranger. ” Mom ” She called, and Cecilia faced the direction of the voice. When she saw it was her daughter, she rushed to her, hugging her tight as they both broke into tears. ” Mom!” Devyn cried. ” I’m sorry, baby ” Cecilia cried more. ” I’m the one who’s more sorry, Mom. I was selfish and thought only about myself. I’m sorry Mom” She cried. They continued crying on each other shoulders for almost 10min before they both pulled away. The strange guy just watched them without saying a word. Cecilia’s eyes landed on him and she flinched slightly. ” Who’s here?” She asked her daughter in a whisper. ” Oh! A guy I met when I almost killed myself, he saved him from suicide and I think he has nowhere to spend the night, so I called him over” ” He doesn’t talk ” Devyn whispered into her mom’s ears. ” Oh! But why is he Ɲ@kēɗ? Did you see his… ” ” No! Never! I didn’t” Devyn replied quickly and her mom chuckled. ” It’s late, let’s go in. We’ll talk tomorrow” Cecelia said and Devyn smiled, taking the stranger in. She led him to the bathroom for a shower before going to meet her mom for dinner. Devyn and her mom waited for him for 30 Minutes, yet he wasn’t leaving the bathroom. ” You think he’s okay?” Cecilia asked. ” I’ll be back” Devyn went to check on him. After knocking for a while, she decided to enter and there, she met him still standing on the spot she left him, staring at everything in the bathroom strangely. ‘ What is he exactly? He doesn’t know how to shower?’ She wondered. ” Hey ” She called and he turned. ” You should go into that bathtub, okay? If you don’t wanna use the tub, you can just stand there and use the shower instead” She said, but he still didn’t budge. ” Do I need to see his Ďïčk again?” She muttered and walked to the shower, turning it on. ” Devyn, is everything okay?” Cecilia asked. ” Yes, mom. This guy is just a bit strange” She replied from the bathroom. ” Go under it ” She said and he stare at her. She sighed loudly, already frustrated. She pushed him under the shower, but he quickly ran away when the running water met his body. ” It’s just water, it’s not gonna hurt you ” She placed her hand other the shower, ilLū$trating what she meant. After staring at her, he went under it. It took a while before he could get used to the water hitting his soft flesh. She asked him to loose the shirt around his waist which he did. She immediately backed him. ” Close it the way you saw me open it earlier then use a towel and also wear these clothes” She rushed her words and walked out of the bathroom. ” Jeez, he’s so strange. Is he a psychiatric patient?” She wondered as she stared at the bathroom door. ” What happened?” Cecilia asked. Devyn got to the dining and sat. She began explaining how she met the stranger to her mom. She was still talking when she heard her mom scream. ” Arghh!!” She faced the direction and her eyes widened when she saw the guy. He just left the bathroom Ɲ@kēɗ, and water was dripping down his face. He looked really hot that she had to gulp. She closed her eyes and walked past him to the bathroom. She noticed the shower was still on, so she turned it off and got the pajamas her mom offered. She handed it to him. ” Put this on” She told him, still with her eyes closed. Not sure of what to do with it, he collected it from her and held it. He looked at her and started putting the clothes on the way he saw it on her body. Devyn opened her eyes, then she noticed he wore it wrongly. ” That’s not… It’s fine. At least you wore Something” She muttered frustratingly before taking him to the dining. ” Good gracious” Cecilia breath out. She placed a plate of pasta in front of the stranger, and handed him chopsticks which he kept looking at, not knowing what to do with it. ” Where’s he from? ” Devyn exhaled. ” Mom, a fork please” She said and Cecilia stood up to get the fork for her. ” Thanks, mom ” She said. She stood from her seat and sat next to the guy. She placed the fork into the pasta and rotated it twice before placing it in her mouth. ” You should eat it like that ” She told him, before handing him the fork. She took hers too and began to eat. The strange guy watched as she rotated her fork in the pasta and into her mouth. He tried to copy her and even though it wasn’t exactly the way she did it, he was able to feed himself. ” Delicious right? ” She asked, but he didn’t say a thing as he dropped the fork and began eating with his hands. ” I guess it is ” She smiled and resumed eating from her plate. They were done and she cleared the table and did the dishes, she came back to the sitting room and met him still in the dining. She took him to the sitting room and made him sit on the couch. Cecelia stood up. ” Good night hun and don’t sleep late ” She said. Devyn nodded as she watched her mom leave the sitting room, but she stopped when she got in front of her room. ” Take your savior to the other room, okay? We’ll talk about it tomorrow” She entered her room fully. She took her phone and downloaded a few videos on how to eat using chopsticks and also how to wear clothes. She checked the time and noticed it was very late already. She gave him her phone while he stared at it strangely. ” Oh! It’s called a cell phone” She told him and started leaving. She stopped walking and looked at him again. ” When you’re sleepy, you should sleep there” She pointed at a room and he gave the door a stare. ” I’m sure you don’t know what a room means” She muttered. ” Anyway, if you want to sleep, there’s a….” She began explaining to him. ” Understood?” She asked after she was done and he looked down. ” I guess you understand” She said. The stranger stared at her phone in his hands, staring at wh@tëver was playing on it. Seeing the people on the phone made him frown. How did they get in? ” Good night, then” Devyn left for her room. The guy stared at Devyn’s door before focusing on the video on the phone. ☩☩☩☩☩☩☩ FEW HOURS LATER After watching the videos on Devyn’s phone repeatedly, he dropped the phone, and his eyes landed on the TV remote. He took it and pressed a random button and the TV turned on, frightening him. The remote fell from his hands as he flinched slightly. He looked at the TV strangely when he saw people were inside it too. He moved closer as he tried touching them but couldn’t. After so many fruitless attempts, he was tempted to smash the TV on the ground but he thought against it and went back to his seat. He pressed another button on the remote and the volume increased. He kept pressing the button till he got the volume to the fullest. He threw the remote away and sat properly, watching the people on TV walk. He stood up again to walk like them. Devyn and Cecilia opened their doors at once and rubbed their sleepy eyes. The noise woke them up from their slumber and Devyn could remember not turning on the TV. She was sure the dumb stranger couldn’t on too. They yawned at once, each of them stretching. ” Mom, it’s still 5 am. Why did you on the TV with so much volume?” Devyn asked. ” I didn’t ” Cecilia replied and Devyn faced her. They both stared at the sitting room and it was dark since the light were all off. Only the TV gave it dim lights. They both saw someone standing at the center of the sitting room, staring at the TV. When the stranger felt Devyn’s presence, he smiled slightly and started taking few steps to them. Devyn and Cecilia screamed at the top of their voices, thinking it was a ghost. ” Ghost!!” They both screamed. ” It’s a ghost! ” Devyn screamed again as she ran back to her room to get red beans for exorcism. The guy moved his gaze to Cecilia and stared at her strangely as he watched her hide under the table. ….𝐓𝐁𝐂….
