In lines, the grim reapers stood, waiting for their tasks to be given to them so theyβll be sent out to bring in souls.

Soon, each of them moved forward and got an envelope that contained the names of dead souls from a table in front of them, before exiting the room.

Rema sighed and he threw their manager glares. Mr. Cha just scratched his hair, feeling somehow. He wouldnβt have made Rema come if he knew the interviewer was gonna be late.
β It says 8:30 am! I worked my butt out only to get here 5min past the time and what? The host of the program isnβt here!β
β Jeez, youβre fond of doing this, Mr. Chaβ Rema grumbled.
β I couldnβt even eat properly and Maikelβs food has always been delicious but todayβs own was a lot more deliciousβ He mumbled to himself.

β Of course it is!β Rema cut in as he sat down, waiting for whoever was gonna host the program.

Devyn still had a shocked expression on as she stared at Gemma on the ground. What if her fans come after her? She was still in thought when Lesley touched her.
β Huh?β
β Donβt think too much. You just taught a brat a lesson. Letβs go β Lesley tried to pull her away but she didnβt budge. She wanted to take Gemma to the infirmary cos she was scared something might happen to her if she just leaves her on the ground unconscious.
β Donβt worry about her. You did that to defend yourself and I donβt see anything wrong with thatβ Maikel said from behind and she turned to face who it was, her eyes widened.
β You did well, unlike yesterday when you were being a crybabyβ Maikel chuckled. Ian Sweetheart and Valerie exchanged glances.
β Wait, did you just chuckle?β They all chorused. Maikel pretended not to hear them as he continued staring at Devyn.
β Waiting to see this side of you oftenβ He added as they walk past Devyn and Lesley. Sweetheart stopped when he got beside Devyn and leaned closer.
β Her fans are crazy but ours are crazier. I hope you get it. Leave here before you become food for hundred of hungry guysβ He said with a smile as he went to meet his friends.
β Hyung, do you like her? Should I get her number for you?β Sweetheart held on to Maikelβs arm as they made their way into their music library.

Lesley and Devyn finally got into Miss Rachelβs office and luckily for them, she was in, busy on her computer.
β Greetings maβam β They both greeted and Miss Rachelβs gaze finally left the computer to them.
β Oh! Ms. Han, You came β She said offering them seats which they sat on.
β I h@tΓ« the fact that you ran out of class yesterday. Iβm supposed to punish you for that, but I thought against it. It must be hard on you already and I donβt want to make matters worst which could make you quit schoolingβ She said and Devyn bowed slightly.

β Itβs fine. I guess youβre the only students whoβve stolen my heart. I like you already and thatβs why I wanna help you. Can you tell me what went wrong? I mean about your voiceβ
Devyn sighed.
β Itβs a long storyβ She began but Miss Rachel nodded for her to explain.
β Thatβs why Iβm always here to listen β She said and Devyn nodded as she began explaining the incident of 13 years ago. She gave just the main details until she was done explaining.
β From your explanation, you fell on acid. Then how did that affect your voice?β Lesley asked, confused.
β And the doctor said youβre medically fine, but then heβs tryna give you a little hope by saying you have βPhonatory dysphoniaβ?β Miss Rachel asked and Devyn nodded.
β This is strange. Iβve never heard of such a situation. You must feel so bad, cos Iβm also feeling badβ She paused and set her lips on a thin line.
β So you came to school because you believe a miracle could happen?β She asked and, gently Devyn nodded.
β Although I know Iβm just leaving in my own fantasyβ Devyn smiled sadly.
β Do you have a record of yourself singing as a kid?β Miss Rachel asked and Devyn took out a compact disk from her backpack.
β Hereβ¦ My mom made a lot back then. I didnβt know Iβll be needing it later just to make sure I donβt feel sad about losing my voice. I do watch it daily before but not anymoreβ She replied and Miss Rachel took the CD from her and inserted it into her computer, then it began to play.
She was shocked at how high the pitch of a 6years old kid could go. She looked at Devyn .
β You sure this is you?β She asked and Devyn nodded. Miss Rachel sighed as she rested on her swivel chair, her gaze still on Devyn.
β You know whatβ¦ βShe began and Devyn raised her head to look at her.
β As of today, Iβll coach you personally. I donβt care how long it might take cos I donβt believe in fantasies. With much training, I believe youβll get back on your feet and if any of the students bully you, donβt hesitate to let me knowβ¦ Even if itβs those spoilt brats from the SILVER CLASSES β She said and Devyn smiled broadly.
At first, she thought she was dreaming, but no! It was real!
β If Iβm too busy to coach you, then Iβll ask Maikel to do it. Heβs good and Iβm sure heβll be of help tooβ She added and Devynβs eyes widened. Miss Rachel took her phone and logged in to the boysβ chat group.
β I NEED YOU TO HELP ME COACH SOMEONE IF YOU ARENβT BUSY β She sent to Maikel and dropped her phone afterwards.
β Heβll come get you if he sees the message β She said to Devyn who gulped.
She was happy and sad at the same time. She was happy sheβd get to spend time with Maikel and was sad because she couldnβt sing. How will he look at her if she tries to sing? Nevertheless, she nodded slightly.
β You may leave and donβt bother about the audition. Take your time to develop your skillsβ Rachel said and Devyn smiled at her before standing. She bowed and left the office with Lesley.
β Gosh, youβre finally meeting your crush and studying with him. I wish Nash could look at me too β Lesley laughed.
β You like him?β Devyn asked
β Who wouldnβt like him? He gets me wrecked all the time. I fell in love with him the day an anti-fan commented that Sweetheart isnβt funny and should stop acting like he is that it αΉ’Ε«Γ§Ζsβ Lesley said as they walked through the hallway.
β But heβs funny. I started watching them seven months ago and I must say heβs really fun to be with. I mean, the way he talks to their fan is cool β
β This actually happened last year. Thanks to Nash who stood up for his kid brother while Maikel and the others tried to comfort him cos he actually cried on stage like a baby. Gosh, I felt like appearing there to beat the hell outta the fans, but I couldnβt, cos Iβm not Wonder Womanβ She said and Devyn laughed.

β I know right?β Lesley nodded and stopped when she felt someone behind them. She looked back, but saw no one.
β What? β Devyn asked.
β Maybe Iβm just being over-sensitive, but I felt like someone was watching usβ She replied and held Devynβs hand.
β Letβs wait for your crush in class β She smiled at Devyn as they went to class.

β Iβm so sorry Iβm late β A man in his early 30s apologized while his workers began setting up the camera. Rema only hissed. He already got his makeup done.
β As long as you came, itβs okayβ He said and the man smiled as he took a seat next to him.
β First of all, Iβm Park Seongcheol, and Iβve been hearing about you guys a lot. I requested for all of you but the director of your school could only spare you since I heard you were the first member Maikel pickedβ Mr. Park said and Rema smiled.

β Thank you β He smiled again.
β Ready to go live?β Mr Park asked and he nodded.

The fans at the scene kept screaming.
β So today, I called you here to know about you and your members. How you met and how you all came up with your band nameβ Mr Park said.
β Firstly, Iβm Rema Lee and I met Maikel last year. Maikel is a cool guy, he was like every other student when we met. I was passing by the school lobby one morning when I heard someone singing. The voice was really enchanting so I decided to go peep and when I did, I saw him. His voice sounded so good for a guyβs. I asked him to be my music coach since I wasnβt confident in myself then. After that day, we started practicing together, till we auditioned β
β Then we went with the stage name M.R. Yeah, but later on, we met Nash Hyung, then Alistair, Valerie, and lastly, Ian and Sweetheart. We all were passionate about music, so we decided to work together and today, Maikel and I do not regret our decision of choosing themβ Rema smiled.
β Wow, Maikel must be a cool guy β
β Yeah, he is. He acts like a mother, a dad, a sister, and a brother. He always has time to listen to you even if what you have to say doesnβt make sense. Heβs just too kind to be humanβ Rema laughed.
β Wow! So whoβs your favorite among your brothers? β
β I love them equally but Maikel and Nash take most of the credit. Nash behaves very cold but heβs really amazingβ Rema laughed.

β Maikel should be the one answering this question cos he knows best but to be like us, you must have a leader and an elder brother like Maikel, Nash, Alistair. Someone who can laugh like Ian, someone with a beautiful smile like Valerie, and someone who whines and disturbs like my Sweetheartβ Rema laughed and Mr. Park laughed too.

Rema laughed.
β Myself? Yeah, you should also have someone as forgetful as me, but all thanks to Nash hyung who always reminds me of what to doβ He laughed again.

β Whatβll be your reaction if Maikel decides to get married?β
β Marry?β Rema laughed, not sure of his answers. Their fans kept mute as they awaited his answer.

β Not that, he should be ready to take us all alongsideβ He laughed. The anchorman joined him in the laughter, and so did their fans watching him from the background.
β And thatβs all for today. I hope next time, Iβll be able to talk to all of you. It was nice talking to youβ Mr Park said.
β Me too β Rema smiled and stood up.
β Any last words to your fans before we end the interview?β
β Saranghae ( I love you )β He made heart signs with his fingers, with a cute smile plastered on his exquisite face.

The screams followed. Rema bowed to Mr. Park as the cameras went off.
Mr. Cha, their manager started leading Rema out of the hall. They met fans on the way but after struggling for a while, Rema was able to enter the car, and a driver assigned by the company, drove him home.

MARVINS MANSION
Nash left his room, looking very furious. Sweetheart, Valerie, and Ian who knew what was wrong only laughed. They were all waiting for Rema.
β I guess youβre looking for somethingβ Valerie laughed silently. Nashβs eyes moved to Alistair whose gaze was on his phone. He looked up and saw Nash looking at him.
β What? β He asked cluelessly.
Valerie started laughing loudly this time. Nash walked towards Alistair and pulled him up.
β What did I do, hyung?β He asked, confused.
β Just stay still β Nash gritted out as he unbuckled Alistairβs belt. Alistair blinked confusedly.
β Donβt tell me Iβm putting on your boxers?β He asked.
β Is that really a question?β Ian asked, laughing very hard. Nash pulled down Alistairβs trousers and there, he saw his boxer. He pulled down the boxers and Ian stopped laughing immediately.
β Thatβs my ΕͺΕΙΔΙp@Ι²tαΉ£ β Ian said.
β Get me a knife Ian, weβre having barbecue tonight. I should cut off this toothpick he calls a ΔΓ―Δk so he doesnβt wear P@Εties or boxers since theyβll be nothing to hide anymore. Just trousers will doβ Nash said and Alistairβs eyes widened.
Valerie and Sweetheart held him so he wouldnβt run as Ian went to get the knife.
β MAIKEL!!!β Alistair shouted loudly. The noise brought Maikel out of his room since he was busy with what to teach the person Miss Rachel ask him to coach. He shook his head when he saw the scene.
β Help me, hyung β Alistair said pleadingly as he watched Nash collect the knife from Ian. He brought it close to Alistairβs ΔΓ―Δk and he gulped nothing.
β This is gonna be the last time, I swear β Alistair quickly said. Nash looked at him before withdrawing his hands.
β Next time Iβll really kill you β Nash said, giving the knife back to Ian. Alistair held his chest as he exhaled deeply. Maikel chuckled followed and entered his room again.
β Gosh, that was close. I thought I had something like this β Alistair muttered, referring to the boxer and the ΕͺΕΙΔΙp@Ι²tαΉ£.
β No, you donβt!β Valerie, Sweetheart, and Ian said loudly while Alistair flinched at how loud they were.

Devyn gulped nervously as she sat opposite Maikel. Maikel was surprised it was her too.
β So youβre the one Miss Rachel asked me to coach?β He asked and she nodded nervously.
β Alright, Iβmβ¦ β
β Youβre Maikel. Youβre my bias β She blurted out before she could realize it.
Maikel smiled.
β Oh! Really?β He asked and she nodded. He decided not to ask any personal questions so he only requested her name and what she wanted to learn from him.
β Iβm Devyn Han. Coaching isnβt actually my problem cos I learned a lot while I was at home β She bent her head and started picking on her nails. β I just wanna know how to sing again cos I lost my voice β She said, not looking at him.
β You lost your voice?β He asked and she nodded.
β But youβre talking β
β Itβs complicated β She muttered.
β Itβs fine. Since you think youβve learned a lot, and canβt sing, why donβt you use the piano or guitar to showcase how good you are? You might turn out to be my coach insteadβ He laughed.
β Alright β She stood up and walked to where the piano was placed. She sat on an empty chair and began staring at the keys. Sheβs good when it comes to playing the guitar and the piano.
She placed three of her left fingers on the left part of the natural keys. She did the same for the right keys before closing her eyes.
β Itβs a song a composed a day before I came to school β just for youβ thatβs the title. I hope you love it β She smiled as her fingers moved on the keys perfectly.
Maikel was amazed at how could use both the natural, sharp, and flat keys. Even without knowing the lyrics, he could feel the song was passing out a message of HOPE.
She played for a couple of minutes before ending her song. Maikel clapped for her after she was done.
β That wasβ¦ wonderful! The best Iβve heard so farβ He complimented and her cheeks suddenly turned red. She cupped her face, trying to hide her flushed cheeks.
β Thank you β She said shyly.
β Itβs okay. Since you said you canβt sing, Iβll have to meet Miss Rachel on the issue so weβll know what best to do about itβ Maikel said as he glanced at his wristwatch.
β Rema must be back by now β He muttered and walked closer to Devyn who didnβt bother to shift back as he stopped in front of her.
β Iβll need to go see the boys, if notβ¦ the house will turn a total mess β He laughed, which made Devyn smile.
β Write a song for me okay? You can choose the genre too. Iβll create just the beat and the Melody, or you can probably write down the tonic sol-fa and Iβll sing for you β He said and she looked up at him.
β Huh? β
β See you tomorrow then β He touched her hair fondly before leaving. She gushed happily as she jumped around like the teenager she is. She did that for a few minutes before heading out of the practice room.
She started walking the hallway, but stopped when she noticed footsteps behind her. She turned swiftly but found no one.
β Did I mishear?β She wondered. She shrugged as she headed to class to meet Lesley already waiting.
β Wowβ¦ See whose cheek is so red?β Lesley teased. Devyn covered her cheeks and blushed even more.
β Letβs go home β Lesley said and she nodded. They began leaving when they both felt someone watching them. They turned at once to see who it was yet, no one was there.
β Who the hell is the nutjob whoβs watching us secretly?β Lesley pondered as she kept staring back, yet no one was in sight.
They made to pass through the gate when they sighted Honesty and Gemma.
β You woke up?β Lesley asked mockingly. Gemma balled her fist and made to take a step to them, butβ¦
β Move a step and this moment, youβll know why I came to Koreaβ Lesley said seriously before pulling Devyn away.
β Jeez.. this is crazy. I canβt let this slideβ Gemma stomped her legs on the ground, pouting her lips as she felt tears gathering in her eyes. Sheβs never been so humiliated in her life.
β Letβs come up with a plan tonight. Donβt think too much about themβ Honesty said, but Gemma left the place, leaving her behind.
β Arenβt you scared of them?β Devyn asked.
β Scared? Iβm not. I was a victim of bully until last year everything changedβ

β My little secret β She smiled. Devyn didnβt want to bother her about it so she didnβt ask any further questions.

DEVYNβS HOME ~ 6 PM
Devyn got home, still smiling and thinking of her time with Maikel. She was happy he loved her song. She was happier cos he ask her to write a song for him.
β Whatβs with the smile?β Cecilia asked as she left her room.
β Whereβs strange?β She asked and he raised his head from under the dining table. Devyn chuckled and went to him.
β Iβm so happy today, and because of that, Iβll take you out for some ice creamβ She said, then she noticed his new outfit.
A black shirt and a pair of blue trousers. It fitted his body perfectly like it was made just for him.
β I see Mom got you new outfitsβ She smiled at him.
β Iβll be back β She muttered and entered her room for a change of clothes. She was done and didnβt even seat for dinner before pulling the stranger by the arm.
β I said Iβd give you a name when I come, but I really didnβt think of anyβ She pouted as she stared at his outfit again.
β What aboutβ¦ β She trailed off and thought for a while. β Blueberry?β She asked and the stranger smiled slightly. First time sheβd see him smile and she could swear it was the most heartwarming sight sheβs ever beheld.
β Wow!β She mumbled, enchanted by his smile.
β I think he likes the name β Cecilia said.
β You have a pretty smile. You should smile often β Devyn complimented.
β So from today, Iβll call you Blueberry β She said and he just stared at her.
She glanced at his long hair and went back to get a hairband from her room. She packed his hair in a punny tail and tied it. He was looking a lot more feminine than her with the ponytail.
β Weβll be back Momβ She held his hands as they left the house, walking around the neighborhood until they got to an ice cream van. Devyn made him seat on a bench and went to get them ice cream. She came back with two blueberry flavors.
She handed him one while she took the other. She urged him to lick it and immediately the coldness came in touch with his mouth and teeth, he threw it away in fright with a frown on his fine face. Devyn laughed loudly as she watched him make funny faces.
β Iβm very happy today and youβre making my day a lot merrier with your quaint attitudeβ She laughed as she handed him her ice cream.
β You mustnβt throw it away, else Iβll get angryβ Devyn said and slowly, he collected it from her. He stared at it for a while before licking a bit from it. His eyes suddenly widened as looked at the ice cream cone in his hands and then at Devyn. He took the whole cone into his mouth and hashafashasha away till he gulped it down.
β Jeez! What are you? A dragon?β She asked, laughing at him for doing the hashafashasha thing with his mouth.
β Itβs good right?β She asked, but he licked his lips as he continued staring at the ice cream seller. Devyn figured out he wanted more, so she went to get it.
This went on for a while and he had already licked fifteen cones of ice cream yet, he still wanted more. She stood up and pulled him away from the ice cream van, taking him to the amusement park not far from there.
He blinked confusedly as he watched the merry-go-round turn without support.
β Want to go in there?β She asked, but he didnβt reply. He was still staring when the merry-go-round suddenly stopped moving. He walked closer to it and held the large heavy metals supporting it.
With just a push from him, it began spinning so much that the children on it started screaming their lungs out and crying their eyes out. Devynβs eyes widened, she quickly went to him and pulled him away.
As she made to turn, she saw someone from a distance, not too far from her, pointing a gun at her. Her eyes widened when she heard the gunshot. She screamed so loudly as she closed her eyes. Blueberry, the stranger, wasnβt sure of what the sound was, but seeing Devyn scream made him worried and that moment, everything went into slow-mo. As the bullet approached her, he stood in front of her, and when the bullet got to him, just by a glance, it changed directions and went back to its shooter, targeting his head. And right there the personβs soul left his body and was escorted to the underworld by a grim reaper.
