But their stare was broken by a voice that brought them back to earth. “What are you doing here?” The voice said as they turned around to meet Alex by the door.
Alex was surprised to find miss drunkard and a stranger in Luke’s music room. Jewel was shock because she wasn’t expecting anyone. Dina was speechless that she had to meet Mr. handsome in a situation where he might be probably thinking them as thieves.
As for Luke, he felt a burden. It’s been a year since he left his best friend. The buddy he that made him smile daily. The one who was there when he lost his family. The one who gave him a shoulder to lean on. The same Alex that was there through out his Career. Now he felt bad. He wished he was still alive. He didn’t even say a proper goodbye. How was Alex able to cope? Just seeing him made Luke realise that Alex hadn’t moved on. So many thoughts clouded his mind that he felt a tear slid down his face. He touched his cheek but it was dry. ‘I thought I felt a tear’ he wondered.
“What are you doing here?” Alex asked again Facing Dina. “Miss drunkard, wow, so now you’re a burglar cause there’s no way you would have gotten the passcode to enter the mansion. So I’ll ask once, who really are you and what brings the both of you here?” Alex asked moving his eyes from Dina to Jewel.
The girls looked at themselves not knowing what to say. After some seconds of silence, Dina spoke up. “Well, em, l should be the one asking that question. What are you doing here? Oh, no need to answer that cause I see that you’re a stalker. Are you really stalking me?” Dina asked with in smirk on be face as she faced Jewel and the secretly shake hands but their celebration was cut short
“Do you even melise who I am? I am Alex Luke’s….” Alex couldn’t complete his statement as both girls ran away

“Why didn’t you tell me he is Luke’s friend” Dina said after they were a long distance away from Luke’s mansion.
“I…I…” Jewel paused trying to catch her breath.
“I didn’t know he was Luke’s friend” Jewel finally said
“What, still we didn’t get anything. We came back empty handed” Dina lamented as they continued their walk in search of a taxi
“Well it wasn’t totally fruitless” Jewel said and Dina faced her.
“What do you mean?” Dina asked and Jewel brought out a book. It was one of Luke’s books where he wrote his music.
“But what are gonna used that for?”
“Maybe when we are done going through it, we might know what to do. By the way, where’s Luke” Jewel said while stopping a taxi.

Alex was still in awe of what just happened. Meanwhile, Luke was staring at him in sadness. Who would have thought his time was short on earth. Now he wished he was still alive. Alex picked one of the picture containing a portrait of him and Luke.
“You need to move on” Luke said but Alex couldn’t hear him.
“Where are you?” Alex asked and Luke looked at him confused.
***BROOKE’S HOSPITAL***
Elena picked up her jacket as she walked out of the office. She didn’t have any scheduled surgery so she was free.
She walked till she entered a particular ward.
“How’s the patient doing?” she asked.
“Same as before ma’am” The nurse said. “There hasn’t been any improvement”
“Let’s just give it more time” Elena said as she walked out.
Her mind was clouded with this patient. She had never treated any one like this. She was still on that thought that she didn’t notice the figures walking closely behind her. Soon an handkerchief covered her nose. She struggled to free herself but her struggle was fruitless as she soon gave into the darkness.

Glenda entered the car heading home. For days now she had slept in the office, so she decided to go home. And for some unknown reason, she kept on remembering Jewel’s words.

“Stop of the nearest cafe” she told her driver. She needed to clear her head. Soon the car stoped and she stepped out entering the cafe.
“A glass of cappuccino please” she ordered. The wall of the cafe was glass so one could see through.
Glenda looked out and saw Jewel trying to cross the road not noticing an incoming truck. The glass fell from Glenda’s hand as she ran out.
“Jewel” She screamed but it was too late as the truck had already hit her.
“No” Glenda screamed as she stiffened. A tear falling from her eye.
“Not you Jewel” she said rushing to the scene. When she got there she noticed it wasn’t Jewel but a random girl.
She held her chest in relief and she went back to the car.
“Take me home” She told the driver.

Dina and Jewel were going through the note while Luke sang each one to Jewel. Luke was presently leaning close to her ear as the song flowed freely from his lips.
Jewel chuckled as he kept on singing. She could feel the breeze from him and it was ticklish. Jewel kept chuckling from time to time unaware of Dina’s questionable gaze.
Soon Luke finished the song and Jewel’s chuckle stopped. It was as this point that Jewel noticed Dina’s gaze.
“You’re staring at me” Jewel said
“You were chuckling continuously” Dina said expecting an explanation.
“Well the thing is Luke is the reason behind my chuckle” Jewel said and Dina gave her raised eyebrows. Jewel decided not to tell her that Luke was also singing the song since Dina can’t hear Luke.
“Okay then” Jewel said opening the next page and read the title out loud

“No not that one” Luke said trying to take the book from her.
“Why? What’s with this song”
“Nothing” Luke sai
“Do you guys know that speaking amongst yourself make me look like the odd one?? Anyways if Luke doesn’t want us to read through that, we should turn over” Dina said
“Why” Jewel whispered to Dina’s hearing
“I think it was for his lover” Dina replied and Jewel frowned.
“Okay then” she said while turning to the next page.

She read aloud and paused as she and Dina locked eyes. Then they faced Luke
“What?? should I sing it for you? that was one of my favorites”. Luke said.
“You know stealing someone’s else’s song is wrong right???” Jewel said while luke gave her a confused expression.
“What are you talking about?” A confused Luke asked, then Jewel brought out her phone and googled the song out.
She played it and Luke’s eyes were wide open.
“What’s going on here?” he asked and Jewel gave him raised eyebrows. “This song was sang by the famous artist Zach”
“No, no no, this can’t be happening”
“Luke???” Jewel called questioningly
“That’s my song, written and penned down by me”
