“What do you mean? written by you??? I’m confused” Jewel said looking at Luke.
“And here I am, left out again. what are you guys talking about this time????” Dina asked and Jewel narrated everything to her.
“Where is your laptop?” Dina asked as Jewel pointed the direction of her laptop. Dina went towards it and picked it up as she searched something out
“What are you looking for?” Jewel asked and Dina turned the laptop to face her. Jewel and Luke read through it confused. “It only states the date Zach became famous” Jewel said as she shrugged not understanding where this discussion would lead them to.
“Yes, and that’s what I’m thinking. When Luke was alive, Zach was also into music, but he wasn’t know. For fifteen months since his debut as a soloist, he wasn’t known but Luke got the fame from his very first album”
“I still don’t get it” Jewel said sitting down
“Luke was popular and maybe, Just maybe, Zach became jealous….”
“And why would he be” Jewel asked again interrupting Dina
“Would you please let me finish” Dina said standing up to face Jewel.
“Maybe zach was jealous. He wanted the fame and so stole Luke’s music…”
“Even if he stole the music, why would be kill Luke? Zach doesn’t look like someone who could hurt a fly talk less of a crime as huge as murder” Jewel said not wanting to believe what Dina was insinuating. Dina was insinuating.
“Doughnut head, I know you have a crush for Zach but I need you to look past that. Can’t you see he became famous just two weeks after Luke’s death??? Do you really think this is a coincidence or the clue we’ve been looking for” Dina said looking Jewel directly in the eye
“You need to look past that feeling Jewel” Dina said
“But you have no concrete proof”
“Don’t you believe Luke? He was once our favorite. He’s the same guy that brought you out of your nutshell. And besides, he only has twenty-fibe more days. If we are to start somewhere, then it should be from here” Dina said.
Soon they heard the typing of the keyboard on Jewel’s laptop.
“Wow, I didn’t know he has finally mastered moving objects” Dina said
“There are so many things you don’t know he can do” Jewel said as she looked through what Luke was searching.
“Why are you searching for Zach’s address?” Jewel asked but got no response. She turned around and Luke was no where to be found.
“Luke???” Jewel called
“Where is he?” Dina asked.
“I think he left”
“Left???? to where????” Dina asked and Jewel pointed at the address displaying on the Laptop.
“Oh no!!!!” Dina exclaimed as they rushed out of the mansion.
***FEW MINUTES LATER*****
A car stopped in the garage and Glenda stepped out as she rushed into the house.
“Jewel” she called but got no response.
“Jewel” she called louder as she rushed to Jewel’s room but still got no response.
She opened the door and went inside but met it empty
“Jewel that wasn’t you right? You’re not planning to leave me, are you?” She asked no one in particular and tears flowed down her eyes.
“Jewel, please where are you? why is my head messing with me? she said and she fell to the floor. She stayed there cuddling herself as tears flowed out of her eyes for reasons best known to her.

Elena opened her eyes slowly. She felt tired and tried standing up but she couldn’t. Something was restraining her. That was when she noticed the rope used to tie her hands and legs to the chair she was sitting on.
‘What’s going on here? How did I get here? what happened to me’
Many thoughts clouded her mind as she tried to remember what happened last.
“You’re awake” A voice said stepping in to the room. That was when she remembered how they had sedated her and kidnapped her
“What am I doing here?” She asked trying to cover up the fear building up in her
“You’ve got some nerves, but you are lucky I don’t hit women”
“But I do” a guy who happened to be Mole said as he walked in to the room
“Have you asked her” Mole said whispering into Gator’s ears
“Was about to do that before you interrupted” Gator said as he turned to face Elena “where’s our package”
“What package are you talking about? I don’t know anything thing” She said trying to restrain the fear in her from surfacing. But her defense broke when a cold metal touched her head.
She starting shaking physically, and she felt cold chills run down her spine.
“I love the the taste of fear. Isn’t it beautiful??” Mole asked as he loaded the gun.
Elena didn’t know when she swallowed her spit.
“I’ll ask again where’s our package?” Mole asked while Gator watched
“I don’t know what you are…. aarrhhhhhh” She screamed when Mole fired a bullet past her ear giving her a slight cut.
Elena didn’t know when a year fell from her eye. What had she gotten herself into. She thought what she did would put a smile on someone’s face one day but is it really worth it? Her life is at stake and on the line. What should she do now….
“You still don’t know?????” Mole asked as he smirked sinisterly, while Glenda kept swallowing each lump that formed in her throat.
Mole point the gun at her and was about to pull the trigger when Gator stopped him.
“If you kill her then it’s another dead end” he said only to Mole’s hearing.
Gator brought his phone and showed her a picture. Elena looked at it and noticed she was the one in the picture. It’s not what she is thinking right??? If they are the one then there’s no way she would be leaving this place alive. NO!!!! She can’t die. she still has something to do.
“Does this picture trigger a memory????” Gator asked while breaking her thoughts.
Elena could not answer as any unwanted answer could lead to her death.
“I can see cat got your tongue. Where on earth is the book you took, cause you were the only one seen in that place that day” Gator said losing his patience already.
‘Wait, book???? The package they have been talking about all this while is a book????? What book???? She has nothing to do with any book. What she did there that day for far from picking a book’ Elena though
“Let’s help her recall her memory” Mole said bringing in a teaser.
Elena’s eyes widened when she saw the teaser. They aren’t gonna use that on her right??? She thought but her thoughts were proven wrong when Mole turned on the teaser bringing it close to her.
“No, no, no, please don’t” She pleaded with tears running out of her eyes like an open tap.
“Wrong answer” Mole said as he brought it closer to her. It was almost touching her skin when something flashed through Elena’s memory
“I remember” she said loudly in a shaky voice as Mole withdrew the teaser from her.
“What did you remember?”
“I swear I didn’t take the book but there is something you should know” Elena paused as she slowly caught her breath.
“I wasn’t the only one there that day…..there was someone else….”
