Gary came out of the car and Nancy walked over to him
“Good morning” she said with a short bow
Gary only replied with a nod and went in,surprising Nancy
“What happened?” She muttered and immediately followed him
“Gary” She called and caught up with him
“Are you okay?” She asked
He ignored her and she kept asking till they got to his office
“Hey” She grabbed his hand
“Can’t you understand that I don’t want to talk right now?!” Gary yelled at her and she dropped his hand
“I’m……I’m….sorry.. ”
“Get out” Gary muttered and Nancy immediately walked out of the office
Gary sat down and rough his hair
*Our parents want to matchmake us together*
Those words rang in his head again and he groaned.
“You will be fine,just forget about her” he said to himself and sighed out

Oliver stopped the car and tried opening the door but Jocelyn stopped him and he faced her
“What is it?” He asked
“Are we going in together?” She asked and Oliver chuckled,seeing her face
“Yes why? You don’t want to?” He asked
“I don’t like rumors” Jocelyn muttered
“What rumors?” Oliver raised his brows
“The boss and his Secretary…..”
“I don’t think it’s a rumor,it’s the reality” He winked at her
“But still…..”
“Gosh Jocie,come on. You’re my girlfriend okay? And I don’t care what anyone says,I can even make an announcement…”
Jocelyn cut him off with a kiss
“No announcement,no” she shook her head
“Maybe if you kiss me again,I won’t do it” Oliver muttered in a low voice and Jocelyn kissed him again
He smiled into the kiss and broke it.
“Let’s go” He said and they both stepped down from the car together

Oliver waved at them as they greeted him while Jocelyn only maintained a blank look beside him
“Wow,seriously? Did he just waved at us?” A lady turned to another coworker
“I know right? Isn’t it new?” Another one said
“Well,I think there’s something going on between the boss and his Secretary” A lady said and everyone gasped
“For real?”
“I just know,don’t worry” She winked and returned to her table

“Okay,that was breathtaking” Jocelyn exhaled when they got to their floor
“The only breathtaking thing in this place right now is you” Oliver said and kissed her neck
“Gosh,I was supposed to check out something from Kath this morning” Jocelyn immediately said and Oliver raised his brows
“You’re right with your looks,I’m avoiding you. See you soon” Jocelyn said and walked out of the office.
As Jocelyn walked toward Kath’s office,she bumped into Leah
“Oh sorry” Leah immediately said and Jocelyn looked at her in surprise
Leah smiled at her and walked away
‘Seriously?’ Jocelyn said inwardly and entered Kath’s office
“Jocelyn!!” Kath screamed and stood up at once
“You sound like you missed me” Jocelyn chuckled as Kath grabbed her hand and made her sit down
“Why are you here?” She asked
“Information about the ongoing movie……”
“Oh right,I was about sending them to you” Kath cut in immediately and shifted her laptop closer to Jocelyn immediately.

“I got information about the orphanage home where she dropped one of them…..”
“Then where did she sold out the second??” Rachel cut in and Trent kept quiet
“You don’t know?” Rachel asked,tears forming in her eyes
“You should calm down,I promise to do everything to make sure I find out everything,please” Trent said and Rachel wiped her tears
“I will trust you” She muttered and Trent nodded
“So,have you checked out the orphanage home?” Rachel asked
“I came over to tell you as soon as I left the station” Trent replied
“What’s the orphanage name?” She asked
“Pure bliss orphanage” Trent replied and Rachel tried getting up
“Careful” Trent held her and she looked up
“I’m fine Trent” She muttered and he gently let go of her
“I will go home and take my bath first,I h@të the smell of this place” Rachel said and Trent squatted in front of her
“What are you doing?” Rachel asked
“I brought comfortable shoes for you” Trent muttered and held her foot carefully,wearing the first one for her,Rachel tried resisting but he held her tightly and looked up
“Just let me do this” He said
“Thank you” Rachel muttered and he continue wearing the shoes for her
“All done” He said after he was done,he took her heels in his second hand and held her hand
Rachel smiled softly and followed him out of the ward
“Did you settle the bills already?” She asked
“Yeah I did” Trent replied
As soon as they got out of the hospital,Savannah showed up with an angry glare on her Face as she walked over to Rachel.
“You witch!!!” Savannah yelled,trying to slap Rachel
Trent immediately grabbed Rachel’s hand and pulled her back,receiving the slap instead. Rachel’s eyes widened
“How dare you!!! How dare you show up at this moment?!! How dare you!!!!” Savannah screamed out
Rachel’s guards already held her back but she kept struggling with them
“I’m going to kill you by myself if anything happens to my mom!!!!! Mark my word!!!!! Rachel!!!!!!!!!!”
Trent walked Rachel to the car and opened the door for her,she entered and he got to the driver’s side
“You shouldn’t have done that” Rachel muttered when Trent started the car
“You expect me to watch her slap you?” Trent asked
“I’m saying……”
“It’s my job,you don’t have to worry about me” Trent cut in and Rachel sighed
“You said you will be working with me just for a short time,when are you planning to leave?” She asked
“After everything is over and I can see you smiling every time,then i will leave” Trent replied and Rachel sighed,resting her back on the seat
‘I’m such a bad mother,I’m really dumb like she said,can’t believe she fooled me…’ Rachel said inwardly and tears rolled down her eyes but she quickly wiped it off before Trent would notice.
