“Theodore, I swear if you let me trip and fall, I’m gonna beat you blue black” Summer screamed at Theodore who ran past her trying to catch the balloon he was playing with.
I sigh “Theodore please go downstairs, go meet Mama”
“Theodore! don’t let me repeat myself!!” I yelled causing him to run out the room.
I sighed and turned to my heavily pregnant best friend. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine” she sighed walking closer to me.
My stylist is presently helping to fix my wedding dress while I stand in front of the mirror.
“You look so good my love, you look like Cinderella getting ready to meet her prince charming” Summer cooed.
“Thank you baby” I blushed.
“I’m so sad I can’t be your maid of honor” she sigh sadly.
Due to her pregnancy, I had to choose May as my maid of honor. And some of my friends, including Ria. I don’t know who told her, she just called one day to congratulations me.
I don’t care though. Jesse is mine now.
“The car is waiting, you guys should be fast” May said as she walks inside the room.
“We are through” the stylist said.
They both help me pull the back of my dress up to avoid me stepping on it and tripping. The dress has s a big flair that makes it look like a ball gown and a corset that exposes my cleavage a little.
I got into the car into the car and the driver starts to ride to St Francis catholic church, where Jesse went as kids and started our friendship.
The car stopped in front of the church and my friends help me out of the car. Clement was already standing outside the church waiting to walk me to the aisle.
I breathe in and out and we approach the door.
“You look so beautiful” Clement said to me as he kisses my cheek before grabbing my hand into his.
We walked slowly as the music starts. Getting closer to the Altar, I could see Jesse looking at me with a wide smile on his face. That caused me to smile under my veil.
Clement stopped and drop my hand when we reached the altar. Right now, I’m in front of my husband to be, who can’t stop grinning from ear to ear.
“Today, we are gathered to Join Jesse Calhoun and Beverly Dash in a holy matrimony…”the priest started.
My heart was thumping at that moment. Jesse who hasn’t taken his eyes off me grab my hand as we listen to the priest.
It was time to say our vow and exchange rings.
I was the first, and I said the normal vow before sliding the ring down his finger. Now Jesse turn, he shake his at the priest and asked that the mic is given to him.
After collecting the mic, he looks at me and smile. “Hey, I promise to continue my sweet words of love as my vow to you and I’m telling you in front of God and everyone that it won’t be the last time I say this to you, or stop loving. I love you so much Beverly, i love everything about you. You tiny voice, your cute smile, your cute frown” he chuckles and I frown.
“I always think you look good when you frown, that’s why I love to annoy you so much just to see it”
“You have no idea how you drive me crazy Bev, you are always running through my mind and I hope you don’t stop. When you get tired drink water and continue cos I love it”, he said making everyone laugh.
“Today, I promise to love you unconditionally, in sickness and good health. To love you even with your flaws, forever and ever ” he finishes and slip the ring into my fingers.
“You may now kiss your wife” the priest said and Jesse remove my veil and pull me closer to kiss me. We both grin as we share a small kiss. The crowd cheer for us as we kiss.
When we broke the kiss, i look down at my finger and a smile broke out of my face. I pull Jesse close to me and say to him”Finally mine”
He smiled back and said” Yes wifey” pulling me into another kiss.

At the After Party.
“Is funny how we all are marrying ourselves, first it was me and Jay, then Cindy and Simon, Summer and Roy, now You guys” May pointed out and we all laughed.
Only few people who went to the same highschool are still as close as we are now. Even though not all of are here, some don’t even know this group exist. But all well and good.
I noticed Summer was back from bathroom when she walk to my side.
“I thought you said Dylan is married?” she whispered into my ears and I nod.
“I just caught him making out with Ria, they didn’t see me though. They are so engrossed in it”
“Wawu” I said not knowing anything else to say about that.
“I pity his wife though, poor woman. I swear If Roy do this to me I’m gonna cut his penis off!” she shouts.
“If I do what?” Roy ask looking at his wife who was glaring at him.
“Cheat on me” she answers
“Cheat on you? Woah what’s going on”
“I know because I’m carrying your child, i look bloated and unattractive but that doesn’t mean you should cheat on me” she said breaking down. Roy rushed to her side.
“No no no baby, you still look so beautiful and I can never do that to you”
“Roy loves you Summer, he can’t cheat on you” I said.
“That’s so true, I love you so much Roy” Summer smiled and kiss her husband.
