It took Carly Spencer like about fifteen minutes to calm her ragged breathing. When she figured that she was fine already, she tiredly got down from her bed.
The first thing her eyes caught was the mirror and she went to look at her reflection on it.
All she could see was a teenager of sixteen years old, long hair, cute innocent face and black and white skin.
Not just her skin was looking black and white in colour, everywhere was looking black and white to her and maybe it’s because she’s suffering from achromatopsia.
It’s a condition characterized by a partial absence of colour vision. Hers was in it complete stage so she can only see in black and white.
And this happened ever since she experienced her parents death with her own two eyes.
Carly doesn’t like remembering the past because it’ll only make her sad, so sad because she couldn’t do anything and even up till now, she still can’t do anything for them.
They were gone and they were never coming back.
She doesn’t know why her parents were killed but all she knows was that, they were rubbed and murdered.
Carly shook her head to clear the thoughts from her mind, she didn’t have time to start thinking because she was late for work already.
She works in a dog sitting house as a dog sitter where she babysits different kinds of dogs and get paid.
The house opens by 8:30am in the morning and closes by 8:30 pm in the evening.
Carly lives here all by herself with neither a friend nor guardian, she use to live with an old woman that took care of her when she was like five but the old woman died two years back so it’s been Carly and herself.
After showering, Carly changed to a pink shirt, yellow skirt and blue shoe, then tied an orange scarf on her head.
Yes the colours doesn’t match but Carly does not know that and Carly does not care.
Seeing that she was set for work, she took her green bag and left the house.
All eyes were on her as she walks outside the Street, some were laughing and murmuring about her dressings sense but Carly didn’t mind them.
She just kept a smile on her face because she was happy with the way she was dressed.
After about twenty five minutes of trekking, Carly finally got to the dog sitting house.
“Good morning madam Ruby” Carly greeted her boss whom was sitting at the counter and counting some cash.
Madam Ruby was a middle aged woman that is obsessed with make up. Currently speaking, all her face were full of the makeups that was not meant for her age.
When she saw Carly, she burst into laughter.
“What are you wearing Carly? Are you planning to scare the dogs?” Madam Ruby asked and helplessly shook her head.
“No madam, I’m perfect the way I am and I’m sure the dogs would love me” Carly replied with a smile.
“Anything you say Carly, just get to work” Madam Ruby shook her head and Carly went to the dog cage to pet the dogs.
Madam Ruby turned back on look at her dressing styles again then she laughed and shook her head not knowing that she herself looks like a baboon.

SHANE’S PLACE**
The doorbell sounded and Joshua went to get it.
He was still dressed in Shane’s smelling clothes and Shane had already gone to school along with that annoying Brad.
It was only Joshua at home and this would be hitting a week that he had skipped school because of all the h@tës he’s receiving.
Joshua opened the door and was happy to see that the clothes he ordered for has arrived but when the delivery guy so Joshua, he turned surprised.
“Look it’s Joshua the cuckquean, OMG!!” He screamed and brought out his phone then began taking pictures of Joshua.
Joshua blocked his face out of embarrassment and collected the clothes.
“So this is were you live now, I have to update everyone about this” the deliver guy didn’t even wait to collect his tip, he just ran off but before that, he gave Joshua a hard kick on his d_1ck.
Joshua yelped but there was nothing he could do. He was surprised that even a delivery guy knows about him.

Joshua didn’t need anyone to tell him to start packing, he didn’t even shower, he just changed to the clothes he ordered put on a nose mask and ran to the kitchen, hoping he could could see something to eat.
He went to the first pot and opened it and instead of food, he saw a letter.

Joshua just rolled his eyes at Brad hand works before leaving the house for them.
He would start afresh in a smaller apartment, he had talked to the owner this morning and they had discussed all about it.
Joshua has paid for it already so it’s left for him to go there by himself and he was planning to do that the moment he pack all his belongings from his mansion.

The cab man stopped Joshua at the front of a small neighborhood and Joshua thanked the man before tipping him.
He dragged his luggage into the place that was directed for him and no matter how small the neighborhood was, it looked peaceful and comfortable.
At least he will be able to live peacefully without any disturbance.
He got into his room and opened the door. It was just a simple two bedroom flat that’s big enough for just him so he’s cool.
After arranging his belongings into the wardrobe he went to have a warm shower, he sighed when he came out then rubbed his tummy as he hasn’t eaten since yesterday.
He brought out his phone and ordered some food and it took the food about an hour to arrive.
Joshua didn’t forget to use his nose mask as he went to get the door, he collected his food and tipped the guy then settled down to start eating but his phone began ringing.
Checking to see that it was his mother, he picked.
“Joshua, are you okay? I saw the news, those fans beat you up again, are you okay? Where are you now, I’m coming home?” Came his mother worried voice.
“I’m fine mom, don’t cancel your business trip for me, you know dad won’t be happy” Joshua replied.
“But I’m worried” his mother insisted.
“You don’t have to, I’ve rented a new house and I’m okay here so stop worrying about me mom” he assured her.
Joshua heard his mom sniff before saying, “I’ll never forgive Olivia for this”
Joshua just let out a short smile without saying anything.
“Take care of yourself my boy and call me when you need anything okay?” His mother said to him and he nodded.
“I will. Bye mum, I love you” he blew her a kiss and hung up.
He released a sad sigh after wards and face his food.
“I’m fine mom, I’m really fine” he muttered but a tear drop slipped from his eyes and rolled down his cheeks.

It was already 8:35pm in the evening, Carly just stepped into the neighborhood, she greeted everyone outside but they all laughed at her in return.
They were laughing at her dressing styles not knowing that she’s achromatopsia.
Carly does not feel hurt anymore because she was already used it so she just went to the small gate leading to her house.
When she got in, she took out her keys and began opening her door but suddenly paused and looked back.
The room opposite hers didn’t have a padlock on it anymore, does this means that she has a new neighbor?
