I glared at Jon who looked at me innocently. Now he is trying to act innocent.
” You know I have to cut your sister’s hair now right?” Jon smiled before nodding negatively.
” She looks better like this” he gestured his hands towards Iris’s hair.
” Mama, what am I gonna do” Iris cried out not taking her eyes of her chopped-off hair that was with me.
These kids should just kill meIris’is hair was very beautiful, she has this natural curly hair and it was so easy to style.
” Why did you cut her hair?” I asked really pissed now. Jon frowned before pointing at Iris.
” She said I should cut it” Iris gasped.
” No that’s a lie, you said you wanted to help me style my hair, and now it’s ruined”
” It’s not my fault though” I rolled my eyes then turned to Jon.
” Why did you cut her hair?” I asked sternly.
” Okay fine fine, Dylan said he likes Iris’s hair, so why should he like my sister’s hair? I am the only one that gets to like her hair and play with It nobody else so I had no choice”. He confessed. It was kind of cute but also selfish.
Iris burst into a loud cry.
” You don’t get to decide for your sister Jon” I warned before carrying Iris who was whaling so loudly.
” You cry like a whale” I gave Jon a deadly glare.
” Apologize now”. Jon frowned.
” Sorry golden child” he mocked then burst into laughter. This boy was such a headache.
I had to take Iris to the salon that night, all thanks to Jon.
~~~ NEXT DAY~~~
” Don’t even think of causing any trouble today” I warned Jon who carried a naughty smile. I looked at Iris who had a pout on her lips.
” Take care of her” I kissed their cheeks.
” Bye Mom, mama” they both chorused before rushing inside their school.
Okay now I have to wait for that man, we planned to meet each other today, at least I get to meet the man who has been seeing my daughter without my permission.
I sat on the waiting chair patiently waiting for the guy, it wasn’t that late though, I brought my kids Early to school so he was probably still coming.
My phone chimed and I quickly brought it out to check the message.
” Are you there?”. Of course, I was.
“Yeah, sitting in the waiting area”.
” Okay,” I read the last reply before looking if anybody was coming yet. I saw a man walking towards me, ah finally.
I stood up ready to greet him, I was disappointed when he walked towards someone else. Maybe if this guy had sent me his picture, I would have known who I was going to meet. What if he was a serial killer? Oh my God.
” Where are you?” I texted. I read the message over and over again.
d@mn, answer the Fuçking message, I have work. Only if I still got one though.
I jolted up in shock when I saw that face again. What the Fuçk is Jarden doing in a school? Is this guy following me? I quickly ran out of the school from the back entrance.
What was he doing here? Ahhh my kids!!! What am I gonna do? What if he sees Iris? He won’t know she’s his right? No, he won’t. Oh God.
I dropped my bag on the passenger seat of my car before starting it. I’m so screwed. My mind couldn’t move from Jarden, why did he suddenly come from nowhere? When my life was just becoming better. Thank goodness he didn’t see me.
I got to my workplace, Everybody stared at me, that is what I got for running like a mad woman yesterday. Gosh, I left my shoes. How embarrassing.
I knocked lightly on Mr grey’s door, I could feel my heart beating so fast. I knew I messed up a lot but I hope he forgives me.
” Come in” I opened the door slightly before walking in.
” I am so sorry sir, I know what I did yesterday was inappropriate but if you could just give me one more chance, I promise, I will never do that again,” I said immediately Mr Grey’s glaze met with mine. He gave me a warm smile before gesturing for me to come closer.
” Don’t worry about it Kiara” I felt my heart melt. He was just too kind.
” Sir, are you sure?” I asked almost shining my teeth.
” Yes Kiara, nothing happened, we just went on with the meeting, not with Jarden running after you though”. My smile dropped, I couldn’t help but think about the kind of relationship Jarden had with him. I wanted to ask though, but he was my boss. So no.
” Now get back to work, and please get me a coffee ASAP” I smiled in relief before walking out of his office happily.
~~5 hours later~~
Mr Grey sent for me and I hurriedly kept wh@tëver I was doing and went to his office.
” Come in,” he said even before I knocked. I opened the door, he was sitting on his normal chair staring at his laptop.
He gave me a warm smile.
” How are you doing?” He asked. I smiled before nodding my head.
” Great sir, what about you?”. Okay, this was awkward.
” I’m fine”.
” So…. About that business trip?” I nodded hoping he would say it was cancelled because I didn’t know how I was going to tell Iris and Jon mostly Iris that I was going on a business trip for a whole week.
” What about it sir?”. He sighs.
” It seems like, I won’t be able to go for the business trip” My inner self jumps in joy, if he can’t go then I won’t either. Yipeeeee.
” But my son will do you will accompany him” Huh? My joy died there. What does he mean by that? I haven’t met his son before but why should I, does his son not have a PA?
” I don’t trust any other person than you with this job” Okay that made me smile but still.
Who the hell is that son of his!!!

Dad’s words kept ringing in my head like a bell, Kiara has kids? That Sh|t was heartbreaking, I felt my whole world shatter into pieces.
I was the course of all this nonsense, I lost her forever. She is probably married now and… Who am I to talk anyway, I was married too right? But I don’t have kids. She has kids, why?
” What’s wrong” I rolled my eyes before turning to face Bria.
” As if you care?” She scoffed before standing from the bed.
” Well, you are the one acting like a d_1ck since” I ignored her Turing to the other side of the bed.
” d_1ckhead” she cursed. Okay, now I’m pissed.
” You know what? If you are done acting like a Bîtch, then you can get the hell out of my room”
This is like our everyday routine so don’t be surprised. The thing about me and Bria is that we are a very complicated couple. At first, we got married Because I thought we were having a child together. And our supposed child came out as an African American. She is white and I am white so how is that possible?
The Bîtch didn’t know who got her pregnant but instead pinned it on me, the only reason why I was with her right now was because I still had business with her father. When I’m done with wh@tëver business I have with her dad, I will throw a divorce paper at her face.
I talked with the mother of Iris and Jon, I swear her voice sounded so familiar. It reminds me of Kiara so much but I didn’t want to stand assuming any Sh|t.
After we planned to meet in the school. I was really happy because I finally got to spend time with Iris and maybe Jon only if that dude wanted it. I got to the school, and they quickly dropped Bryan in his class, I Know he wasn’t my son but I loved him though, he was such a lovely kid, unlike his mother.
I got to the waiting room but unfortunately, I didn’t see women just some men. I tried to call her but she didn’t answer her calls. Maybe she went somewhere and she will be back soon, let me just hope for that.
I waited and waited, I waited till the school closed, I know it might sound creepy but I waited. I didn’t go to work today instead I was waiting for someone who didn’t come out at all.
I came out of the school, maybe I could just wait for her here, I would use that opportunity to see Iris. I smiled when I remembered her cute little face. Just like my sister. It felt like I was with my sister again and I don’t want that feeling gone.
I was so engaged with my phone that I didn’t almost notice when someone bumped into me until she said.
” Oh my God, I’m so sorry…….”
My eyes widened by the sight of Kiara’s face, she wasn’t far this time but closer.
