Jarden stood at the end of the aisle, his heart pounding in his chest as he watched the love of his life slowly make her way towards him. The room fell away as he focused all his attention on Kiara, taking in every detail of her stunning appearance. Her dress flowed gracefully around her as she walked, the delicate fabric catching the light and shimmering with every step. Jarden’s breath caught in his throat as he took in her beauty, feeling a rush of excitement at the thought that she would soon be his wife.
Despite his eagerness to reach her, Jarden found himself rooted to the spot, unable to move as he watched her approach. His older brother Jake stood beside him, offering a reassuring tap on the shoulder.
“She’s not running, little bro,” Jake whispered with a gentle smile, trying to ease Jarden’s nerves. But Jarden couldn’t help the way his heart raced as Kiara drew closer, the anticipation building with every step. It felt like the first time he had ever met her, and he couldn’t wait to take her hand and start their new life together.
It felt like an eternity when Kiara finally stood at his front, jarden smiled so hard that his cheeks hurt but he didn’t care.
Kiara returned the smile looking at Jarden’s handsome face. She couldn’t believe she finally got to spend the rest of her life with someone she loved and cherished.
When it was time for vows, Kiara breathed deeply before looking into Jarden’s eyes.
” I remember the first time I met you, it wasn’t love at first time something though, it was the most terrifying thing that I have ever seen before. I know you remember too but I won’t say it at loud” Jarden laughed as he recalled the memories.
” Although you were very rude I still wanted you not to mind the consequences, you were to be my stepbrother but we didn’t care though, I’m happy that we were able to fight for our relationship”.
” Sure! Here’s a heartfelt marriage vow:
“Today, as we stand here, surrounded by our loved ones, I promise to love and cherish you for the rest of our lives. I vow to be your partner in all of life’s adventures, supporting you through the highs and lows. I promise to always listen to you, to be your best friend and confidant. Together, we will create a home filled with love, laughter, and understanding. I promise to be patient and understanding and to communicate openly and honestly. I promise to respect and honour you, to be loyal and faithful. With you, I have found my soulmate, my rock, and my forever. Today, I give you my heart and my hand, and I can’t wait to embark on this beautiful journey of marriage with you.”
Jarden stares at Kiara, Her vow touched his heart so much that he might tear up. He smiled and then held her hands.
” I won’t say I didn’t remember that day, I remembered it vividly, you had the most terrifying look that I have ever seen, I know I was really stupid when we were much younger but I’m grateful that we still find ways back to each other arms”.
” Today, as we stand here, ready to take this leap of love, I want to make these promises to you, my beautiful Kiara. From the moment our paths crossed, my heart knew that you were the missing piece to my puzzle. I promise to love you with all my heart, to cherish and respect you every single day. I vow to be your partner in all things, to support you in your dreams and aspirations, and to always be there to lift you when you need it most. Together, we will create a life filled with laughter, adventure, and endless love. Kiara, you are my best friend, my soulmate, and my forever love. I promise to be faithful, and loyal, and to always choose you, no matter what life throws our way. Today, I give you my hand, my heart, and my unwavering commitment to love you for the rest of our days. Let’s make beautiful memories together and create a love story that will stand the test of time. I love you more than words can express”
They both stared at each other with admiration, they couldn’t wait to devour each other.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride,” the priest declared.
Jarden’s lips immediately captured Kiara’s, and he had been waiting for this moment for a long time. He could finally call her his wife. The crowd cheered as he continued to kiss her passionately. He almost forgot that there were people around until Jake whispered beside him, giving Jarden a tap on his thigh.
“Jarden, that’s enough,” Jake said.
They drew back from the kiss, and the crowd kept cheering for them. Jarden whispered to Kiara, “I love you.”
“I love you too,” Kiara hugged him back.

“Don’t mess up grandma’s house again,” Kiara said to Iris and Jon, kissing them both. She was going on her honeymoon, and her kids were going to stay with her mom.
“Shouldn’t he go with you?” Jon asked, pointing at Harry.
“No, he’s gonna be all yours for one week,” Kiara replied. Jon frowned and turned to Iris.
“All yours,” Jon said to Iris. Jarden was carrying Harry, who was surprisingly peaceful that day. He was always playful and loved to scream.
“Mommy is gonna miss you,” Kiara said, kissing Harry on his forehead. Her six-month-old stared at her happily before raising his hands to touch her face.
“I think I’m his favourite,” Kiara said to Jarden, who scoffed.
“Not for long, though,” Jarden smirked.
FIVE YEARS LATER
KIARA POV
” time to change your sister’s diapers,” I said to Iris who quickly stood up. She loves changing her sister’s diaper and that makes me happy.
“Handling Harper to you” I said running out of the room.
Jarden took the boys to play basketball.
I never knew they were something like a perfect family until it happened to me. The doctor told us that we were never going to have any children again, and we were all surprised when we found out that I was pregnant with Harper. It was so overwhelming and Iris prayed everything so it could be a girl. Her prayers were answered though.
” we are back”Hearing Jarden’s voice made me stand up from the chair.
“Mom,” Harry said running in to hug me.
” no no, don’t do that” Jon quickly said carrying Harry away from me.
” why?” I asked looking at Jon who seemed to have grown to my height.
” That’s boy code and secondly do you want your son to end up being gay?” My eyes widen at what Jon said.
” how does it relate?” I asked cluelessly.
” come here baby” I said to Harry who nodded his head negatively.
” I’m a grown-up boy, I Don’t do hugs” I gasped and then looked at Jon who smirked.
” he is just five” My glare turned to Jarden who entered the living room.
“Are you seeing what Jon is doing?” I asked Jarden who walked towards me before pecking my lips.
” no hugging huh?” I asked.
“Dad told me to teach him” Jon exclaimed pointing at Jarden.
” huh me? You liar, that’s a lie Kiara don’t let that boy deceive you” Jarden cried out defensively.
” You’re gonna believe him, Mom? I’m your first son” Jon pouted.
” I’m your husband, I love you” Jarden quickly said.
” no, I love her more,” Jon said.
” you must be joking, before you came to this earth, I loved her”.
” well she is my mother, the last time I checked you didn’t have one”.
” take that back now” Jarden said walking towards Jon who laughed them started running.
” at least I have a wife you don’t have one”.
“Man, I’m just 12”.
Having jarden and Jon in the same house was something else, these two have slowly become best friends and partners in crimes. It was so nice seeing a father and son were bonding but stressful though especially when they argued.
“Mom she wants your Brë@št now” Jon said as he gave Harper to me. He has never been a fan of babies.
I walked to the balcony carrying already sleeping Harper. Suddenly I felt a hand around my waist. I knew immediately it was Jarden.
” hey stepsis” Jarden said caressing my waist.
” hi stepbro” We both laughed then Jarden walked to my front.
” I love you” he murmured still looking straight into my eyes. I smiled.
” I love you too” he hugged me with Harper in between us. Then we heard a loud sound.
“Oh, I think she popped “Jarden groaned and we both laughed.
Who knew FALLING FOR MY STEPBROTHER was going to be the best thing that has ever happened to me? Thank God that I actually followed my heart.
