***Next day ***
Chloe did not come out of her room; she has been inside since she came back from school.
Romeo wakes up and goes downstairs to check whether she is there since her room is locked.
Hey ! Do you see Chloe anywhere?” Romeo asked the maid who was arranging the seating room
No ! “I have not seen her since yesterday,” the maid replied.
Okay ! Continue your work,” Romeo said, going back to her room.
He knocked on the door, but he did not hear any response from inside.
Chloe! Please open this door.

I’m sorry for shouting at you unnecessary. Please just open this door.
You can do wh@tëver you want with me; don’t lock yourself inside,” Romeo said.
Chloe did not open the door.
Are you not going to school today?” Romeo asked
Leave!” Chloe shouted from inside.
I won’t leave until you open this door. I know I’m wrong, but why are you punishing yourself?” Romeo said.

Chloe stood up from her bed weakly, entered her bathroom, and washed her face. She looked pale, and her eyes were red.
You will know she has been crying since yesterday.
She cleaned her face with a towel and walked out of the bathroom.
She opened the door and saw Romeo sitting on the ground with his back view.
Romeo turned towards her when he heard the cracking of the door.
Chloe!! Romeo shouted and hugged her to himself.
You are boiling? Why are you running a temperature? Romeo said
Chloe pushed her away and walked back to her bed.
You have seen me now; you can go,” “Chloe said.
You are not feeling well.” Romeo said
Why do you care? Why don’t you do me a favor by staying far away from me? Chloe said
“I’m really sorry, Chloe,” “Romeo said.
Chloe kept quiet and did not say a word.
Romeo entered her bathroom, put water in a bowl, and took a towel as well.
He soaked the towel in the water and walked out.
He moved closer to her with the bow of water in his hand and sat beside her.
What are you doing? Chloe asked, staring at him.
Shhhh ! Romeo said, placing his finger on her lips.
He brought out the towel and started using it to mop her body.
Tears flow down Chloe’s cheek when she remembers there childhood she removes his hand.
Stop it! If you continue doing this, I won’t be able to get rid of these feelings,” “Chloe said.
What do you mean? Romeo asked, looking confused as ever.
Thank you! You can take your leave now; I will be okay,” Chloe said.

I wish I could; I really wish to h@të, but my heart is not allowing me to do that,” “Chloe said.
Romeo walked out speechless with sadness written on his face.
He entered the kitchen and made food for her ,a few minutes later.
He came out with a tray of noodles in his hand and a bottle of water.
He entered her room and met her sleeping. He placed the food on a table beside her and tried to wake her up.
Come and eat,” “Romeo said.
What ? Chloe said
Eat something; you must have been hungry since yesterday,” Romeo said.
Did I tell you I want to eat? Chloe asked
No ! But you must be hungry. Do you want to starve yourself to death? Romeo asked
I’m not hungry.” Chloe said, but her stomach gambled.
Oh no! Why must you always betray me?” Chloe mumbled, holding her stomach.
Romeo smiled. “Since you are not hungry, I will eat it then,” “Romeo said, sitting down.
He put a fork of noodles inside his mouth and closed his eyes, chewing them.
Wow!! “I can’t believe I’m a great cook; this food is really appetizing,” he said.
Chloe’s stomach made a sound again, as she licked her mouth.
Should I stand up? If I do, he will think I forgive him,” “Chloe thought.
But he will finish the food if I don’t.” She thought again.
What about your ego? He will think he can easily blackmail you with food; have you forgotten what he did to you?” her subconscious mind said.
No ! Don’t mind her; you just have to collect the food and eat it.

Chloe turned to him and hissed.
She carried the plate of noodles in front of him and started eating it like a hungry lion.
Calm down; the food is not running away; you will choke,” “Romeo said.
Chloe did not answer him; she continued eating her food until she finished the whole bowl of noodles.
She placed the plate in front of him and drank a cup of water.
She raised her head to see Romeo staring at her like a lost ghost.
Not that the food is delicious; I only eat it for humanity’s sake,” Chloe said.
Humanity,” Romeo said, packing the plate out.
