“Looking for this?” That was what he asked in an icy tone making Daisy quiver.
Hattie immediately took back her leg and closed the door harshly.
Both Vlad and Daisy looked at the door before they returned their gaze to each other.
“You must be looking for this.” Vlad said, but this time in a calm tone. He started approaching her.
“Yeah.” Daisy replied, trying not to look at him, her gaze on her textbook which he was showing her.
Meanwhile outside the room, Hattie and Ursula bickered:
“Why did you close the door?” Ursula queried in a low tone.
“He’s in the room, don’t you get? What if he spots us?”Hattie replied in a whisper.
“Oh! And by slamming the door that way you think he didn’t spot us?” Ursula asked.
“And what will he do if he spots us? Not like he can bite.” Hattie replied, dragging the word ‘bite’.
“Oh really! Then why did you close the door if you ain’t scared of him.”
“Tsk… I’m not scared of him, I don’t want him to spot me here and think I was…” She trailed off. Why was she even scared of him.
“You what? Cat got your tongue?” Ursula smirked.
“You?… Why are you scared of him?” She asked instead.
“Me… I’m not scared of him, I… You…” Just then, they heard a loud noise come from inside the room. Like an object crashing on the floor.
“Huh?-”
“What happened?” Hattie asked.
“Why are you asking me? Am I in there?” Ursula retorted.
“Silly! You could guess yunno.”
“Yeah, you’re right. I could guess, so why don’t you open the door? We can only find out if we peek.” Ursula told her.
Hattie nodded and slowly opened the door to avoid any squeaking sound.
“Move a little, I can’t see.” Ursula said, straining her neck.
“Suit yourself.” Hattie muttered.
Daisy stared suspiciously at him and he chuckled. “C’mon, don’t give that look. I was only kidding.”
“Huh?” “What’s going on here?” Ursula whispered.
“I wonder the same, I thought they were even fighting, but here they are, acting like lovebirds.” Hattie muttered.
“Here’s your textbook, you can have it.” He stretched out the book to her and she hesitantly took it.
“Go now Daisy or you might be late for class.” He said softly.
Her heart fluttered as he called her name. It sounded so nice, hearing him call her name. ‘Maybe because it was the first time.’ So she thought.
She was about leaving but she paused.
‘Wasn’t he going to attend the class?” She thought, staring at him.
“Don’t worry, I’ll meet you in class.” He replied her thoughts, with a smirk plastered on his face.
“Okay.” She muttered.
“And thank you.” She added.
“What for?” He asked like he didn’t know why she was thanking him.
“For not getting mad at my silly mistake.” She replied softly and he smiled wryly.
“You shouldn’t be super excited yet.” He smirked.
“I mean, it’s nothing,,, it’s okay for one to make mistake, right?” He noticed her suspicious look and added, smiling mischievously.
“Ye…ss.”She forced a smile, finding his behavior weird.
“Oh my! My heart keeps fluttering at VD’s smile. Geez! I so much love this guy.” Ursula smiled sheepishly.
“Geez! Get off me.” Hattie slapped her hands off shoulders.
“Ouch!” She yelled and Vlad and Daisy diverted their attention to them.
Hattie quickly closed the door. She dragged Ursula to a corner and scolded her.
“Your friends, they’re are something else.” Vlad chuckled and Daisy smiled.
“Yeah, they can be crazy at times.” Daisy replied staring at him.
It seemed as if the world and time came to a standstill at the moment as they both gazed directly at each other’s eyes.
He wouldn’t lie, she was indeed a beauty to behold. Her full thick eyebrows looked perfect, her pretty long lashes fluttered as she stared at him with her cute hazel eyes. Her smooth and delicate skin, long brunette hair and plump pink lips, they were…
It was just…
Amazing…
Her beauty was exceptional, he looked mesmerized.
‘Oh! Hattie and Ursula missed this wonderful intense staring competition.’
He began taking slow steps towards her, he was about picking up the strands of hair from when he stopped.
As if a scale fell off their eyes, they jolted.
“Uhmm,,, I’ll go now.” Daisy muttered and he nodded.
She started leaving.
“By the way, you look beautiful.” He complimented and she paused, her cheeks turn completely tomato red.
“Th… Thank you.” She said and hurriedly walked out of the room.
Vlad smirked.
“1 – 0, soon it will be 1 – 1” He smiled.

“Seriously! Why do you keep causing troubles everywhere you go? Now they’ve found out that we were eavesdropping!” She yelled.
“Not my fault! You caused it, why did you slap me?” Ursula retorted.
“Really, that’s not what is called a slap, I literally patted.” Hattie sassed, rolling her eyes.
“Well, I call that a slap… It was painful.” Ursula Mõ@ned.
“But we weren’t eavesdropping.” She added.
“Of course we were.” Hattie replied with a scowl.
Just then, Daisy came out of the room.
“She’s here, act sensible for once.” Hattie told her and started walking towards Daisy. Ursula followed behind.
“Daisy. Hey…” Hattie called as she ran towards.
“Hey, wait up!” She said loudly but Daisy didn’t stopped.
She tried running away from them to avoid them seeing her red cheeks, they were surely gonna tease her if they found it.
Hattie finally got to her and began panting heavily. Ursula got there almost immediately.
“What’s with the attitude?” Hattie questioned breathing hard.
“Attitude? I guess I should be asking you that… What was that for?” Daisy asked instead, trying her best to act normal.
Ursula and Hattie stared at each other.
“What was what?” They asked simultaneously, feigning innocent.
“Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about. You guys made me look like a fool in front of VD.” Daisy replied.
“Oh! That reminds me, what happened between you two in there?” Ursula grinned widely and Daisy blushed remembering the compliment.
She was never gonna forget this day, she was going to jot it down on her diary.
Today, her crush told her that she’s beautiful. Woah! She could feel butterflies in her stomach.
“Why are you blushing? Tell us, what happened in there? Did we miss a show?” Ursula asked numerous questions at ones.
“One question at a time blabbermouth.” Hattie nudged.
“Okay chicken, I will.”
“Better monkey.”
Ursula rolled her eyes.
“C’mon tell us… I mean tell me what happened in there, this toothless kitten don’t need to know.” Ursula said.
Hattie sighed.
“You should thank your stars that I’m curious to hear Daisy’s story otherwise…”
“Otherwise what… Tsk… C’mon Daisy tell us what my ears are itching to hear.” Ursula said.
” Then your ears will itch forever cause I’ve got nothing to say,,, nothing happened.” Daisy replied and ran away blushing hard.
“You can’t lie to me.” Hattie yelled and they both chased after her.
