Ursula sat on the floor and started crying immediately she got to the restroom. If rejection could hurt like this talk more of heartbreak.
The door opened and Hattie came in.
“Baby.” She squatted before her.
“Don’t touch me!” Ursula warned sternly.
“You caused this.” She pouted sadly.
“Me??”
“What did I do?” She asked as she patted her shoulders
“He rejected me. I thought you said he won’t reject me.” She mumbled sadly.
“Oh! I thought he won’t reject you cause you’re beautiful.” She tried to pacify her.
“He broke my fragile heart.” She sulk like a baby.
Hattie was trying her best to suppress her laughter now.
“What happened over there??” She asked and Ursula explained everything to her. How she tried to start a conversation with him, what he said when she told him that she liked him and what resulted to her pouring the drink on him.
Before she finished explaining, Hattie was already laughing hard clutching her stomach.
“You’re laughing now?” Ursula rolled her eyes at her.
“Babe!!!!!” Hattie screamed.
“You are a character, swears.” She said trying to stop laughing.
“It’s not funny, it’s not funny, you caused this.” She blamed her.
“You don’t expect me to have an idea on how to profess love when I haven’t been in love before neither have I been in a relationship before.” Hattie said while Ursula only cried.
“C’mon stop this baby.” Hattie said and pulled her into a hug.
“It hurts.”
What hurts?? Hattie was trying not to laugh now, cause this girl was a real drama queen. If she was acting like this because of a mere rejection… Was it really a rejection?? Wh@tëver but this girl can’t handle heartbreak.
“Sorry.” She said for the first time making Ursula pull from the hug.
“Did you just say sorry?” Ursula asked with widen eyes and Hattie rolled her eyes.
Naughty girl.
“Should I take back my sorry.” Hattie
“Oh my gawd! Hattie said sorry, yeeeee!!!” She squealed excited, throwing her hands in air and Hattie stared at her in disbelief.
“Seriously!” Hattie questioned.
“Yes!!! Poor thing I couldn’t record you say that, could you please repeat it for me.” She begged, pouting her.
“I thought you were sulking.” Immediately Hattie said that her mood changed, she pouted sadly.
Hattie shook her head. “I’m still sad.” She cried.
“Maybe an ice cream will cheer you up.” Hattie suggested and Hattie nodded.
“Yes please, get me vanilla and strawberry ice cream, with a cherry on top. Get a box of pizza along with it.” She demanded.
“With whose money??” Hattie asked, standing up.
“I’m not wasting my money on a glutton like you.” She said plainly.
“As if you’re not one, here’s my purse, take some money in it, if you dare steal from me,,, I promise you won’t like my wrath. Don’t try to steal from me!” She warned sternly and Hattie chuckled.
“I’m very stubborn yunno, I don’t do what I’m asked to.” She stuck out her tongue as she picked up her purse. She took some money from it and dropped it back, then she left.
“Bring back my change!” Ursula yelled after her.
“There’s no charge greedy bird!” Hattie replied back.
Ursula began sulking.

NEXT DAY…
“Hey babies!” Hattie squealed immediately she got to them. They were at the garden, this place has become their newest hangout.
“Who’s a baby?” Ursula objected, feigning a frown.
“I can see that you’re alright now, so you now have the mouth to counter me.” Hattie sassed.
“Was she sick before?” Isla asked.
“Must you always be a talkative.” Ursula scolded Hattie.
“I learnt from you baby.” Hattie smirked.
“Lemme alone.” Ursula moue.
“What happened to our baby??” Daisy asked.
“Well…” She began explaining everything to her.
“… And that is what happened.” She chuckled as Daisy and Isla were laughing their @$$ out.
“You all are wicked.” Ursula uttered and made to leave.
“C’mon babe don’t be angry.” Daisy pleaded as she held her back.
“We didn’t mean to laugh but your actions and words were hilarious. That wasn’t how you were supposed to approach him.” Daisy added staring at her.
“Daisy is right, you could have started with a friendship proposal, he might say yes, he might say no… But you shouldn’t have reacted the way you did, d@mn! You really are a bad girl.” Isla said and Ursula smiled.
“What do you guys know about relationship and love that you wanna advice me?” Ursula bawled.
“Okay I hands up.” Daisy said, surrendering her hands.
“I’ve been in love so I know how it is and how to build a relationship.” Isla said, staring into space.
“Tell me about your love story.” Ursula smiled.
“It was beautiful but sad thing it had a bad ending and I’m not ready to give up so easily.” Isla said.
“Tell us about it.” Hattie requested.
“Not today, maybe some other time.” Isla said and adjusted her glasses, coming back from her trance.
They sighed.
“But somehow her reaction was outstanding yunno, he will be taken aback. I think no one has ever done that to him cause his expression after she poured that drink was… He was speechless. He will get angry and try to get back at her and who knows, when a romance story will-”
“Shut up!!” Ursula yelled cutting Hattie off. Both Daisy and Isla laughed while Hattie glued her lips together.
“Hattie, this isn’t a fantasy world where the FL will embarrass the ML and he will try to get back at her, then a love story will happen… Nah.” Daisy told her.
“I didn’t say that,,, I was just telling you guys what I think about this.” Hattie tried to defend herself.
“And I said that you should stop telling me what you think.” Ursula retorted.
“Calm down Ursula, he likes you, I’m sure of that. He’s just playing hard to get.” Daisy said.
“I told her…”
“I said shut up!” Ursula screamed cutting Hattie off again.
“Okay ma.” Hattie replied immediately and quickly shish her mouth.
Daisy chuckled.
“Meanwhile, are you guys attending Lisa’s birthday?” Isla asked.
“Yeah.” Hattie and Ursula chorused immediately.
“Who’s Lisa??” Daisy asked cluelessly.
“Chairman’s daughter, she’s hosting her birthday party on Saturday. She’s been inviting students, haven’t you gotten an invitation card yet?” Hattie asked.
“No I haven’t.”
“Oh. Maybe before then you might receive your invitation card.”
“I guess we are all gonna rock that party!” Ursula squealed.
“Yeah baby!” Hattie affirmed.
They were squealing and chatting on their own that they didn’t notice that weird look Isla had on her face.
***
“Why are you super excited about this birthday party??” Rosa asked Mira who had a triumphant smile on.
“What’s up Mira, what are you planning?” Mira smiled widely standing up from the chair she was sitting on.
They were in a classroom and not much people were inside. She faced Rosa and said.
“It is said that the destiny of a person lies on their hands, which simply means that I can rewrite my destiny. When life gives you bitterness, turn it to sweetness and this time I will play my role well.” She smirked and Rosa looked at her confusedly.
“I don’t get a thing you said Mira.”
“This birthday party is for my own benefit, watch and see what I will do.”
‘Vlad…’ She smirked.
