‘What’s he doing?’ JoJo thought as Butter kept leaning in, his eyes never left her lips.
He was about to get to her when she spoke up.
“What are you … Doing”
He came back to his senses and pretended like he picked something from her hair.
“Something was…. In your hair” he smiled awkwardly, moving back.
“You could have told me, I can remove it myself” she curved her lips, and he balanced on the driver’s seat.
“You surely don’t know how to say thank you” he said.
She smiled as she tried fastening her seatbelt, but she kept struggling with it.
Butter bent to her side and took the belt from her.
“You don’t know how do fasten a belt?, What do you know how to do then?” He said and started clipping it.
“Don’t bully me” JoJo pouted, and when he looked up to see her pout, he chuckled and grabbed the wheel.
“I didn’t touch you”
“You’re mouth-bullying me” she pouted childishly again, and Butter laughed this time.
“Is there even something like that?”
JoJo stopped pouting and joined him to laugh as he started driving the car.
“But honestly my wounds healed already” she said, and he shifted his eyes from the road to her knees.
There are scars on it , from the healed wounds.
“Scars are bad” he said, that made her look at him.
Their eyes met, and he quickly returned his eyes to the road.
“Thanks” she suddenly said.
“For what?” He asked.
“Saving me from Kent” she replied, and he sighed.
“It’s fine” he replied, and that made her smile.
“Initially…I used to think of you as arrogant and proud” she said, resting her head on the headrest.
“Why?”
“You don’t like talking to people just like Draco, but now I know the two of you are just different, you guys are actually the best” she smiled.
“You’re close to Draco?” He asked immediately.
“Yeah, we’re friends” she replied quickly.
“That @$$hole” he muttered, and she hit his head.
“Füçk!, Did you just hit my head?” He glared.
“Don’t you dare call him @$$hole” she replied, and he scoffed before pulling at her cheek.
“Let go of my cheek!” She shouted, grabbing his cheek too.
He stopped the car and they started pulling each other’s cheeks.
“Let go of my cheek” Butter said.
“You started it so you should let go of mine first” she replied.
“JoJo!”
“Butter!” She shouted too, and they started staring at each other with bulgy cheeks.
It didn’t take long before they bursted into an uncontrollable laughter.
He suddenly stopped laughing and started staring at JoJo who was still laughing.
She looks extra cute while smiling, but she looks more beautiful when she laughs, so right now he just wants her to continue laughing so he’d stare at her forever.
He can’t remember the last time he laughed wholeheartedly like this, but she just made him laugh today.
He immediately felt like keeping her forever, if not for anything, but for the happiness.
“Let’s go, it’s getting late” JoJo finally stopped laughing, and he smiled before continuing the drive to the hospital.

ONE HOUR LATER★ COLLINS RESIDENCE**
Butter’s car stopped in front of the house, and JoJo stepped out.
They didn’t spend much time at the hospital, she only met a dermatologist who prescribed creams for her scars and the ones for skin glow, Butter got it all for her.
“Thanks for everything, though I kept insisting that I’m fine but you’re just stubborn” she said.
“We’re going tommorow too” he replied, and she rolled eyes.
“I swear I’m not going with you” she replied, walking in fast.
“JoJo!” He called after her.
“I’m not following you to the hospital tommorow!” She replied without looking back.
“JoJo” he called softly, and she stopped to look back with a funny look on her face.
“Goodnight” he said, and she curved her lips prettily.
“Goodnight!” She replied fast and rushed in, shutting the door.
Butter smiled and looked at the house again before driving off.
Ignatius was sitting in the living room when JoJo came in, but she decided to ignore him completely.
She started walking in without greeting him.
“Stop” he suddenly said, but she didn’t stop .
She was about to enter her room when he blocked her and held her face.
She kept a stony face as he started staring at her face allover.
“What the hell is happening?, Plastic surgery?” He said with a smirk, and she hit his hand away from her face.
“Mummy’s surgery” she rolled eyes, and Victoria came out of her room
“Yes, mummy’s surgery” she said and pulled JoJo away from him.
“Excuse us” she said and took JoJo into her room.
“How was your date?” She asked immediately, and JoJo’s eyes widened.
“I never said I was going on a date!”
“But you went out with a guy” Victoria smiled.
“He took me to the hospital to see a dermatologist!, And we’re just friends, Butter can never be into someone like me, I’m definitely not his type ok?” JoJo replied and started taking off her gown.
Victoria suddenly hugged her from behind.
“Mummy…
“You look happy today, so I’m happy too, and I’m hoping it continues this way” she whispered, kissing JoJo’s hair.
JoJo faced her and hugged her tightly.
“I love you mummy”
“I love you more baby, now don’t forget to have a night shower before sleeping” Victoria replied, breaking the hug.
“Sure” JoJo smiled, and she pecked her cheeks.
“Goodnight JoAnn”
“Sleep tight mummy” she replied as Victoria left the room.
JoJo rushed into the bathroom immediately, she had a shower and came back to sit in front of her mirror.
She emptied all the facial treatments Butter got for her on the table and started rubbing the appropriate ones.
Her phone beeped on the table, and she quickly got it to see a message from Snow.
? Don’t forget to practice for your audition tommorow, love you! ?
She smiled and typed a reply.
? You too, practice hard ok?, We must get into the club no matter what, I love you more! ?
She stood and started jumping around the room.
“So this is how it feels to actually have a friend!, I’m so happy!, I’m happy!, Whoaaaaaa!!!!” She screamed, falling on the bed.
“I have Draco, I have Butter, I have my Snow, and I have my firefighter, gosh!!!, Dream come true!!!!” She started throwing up her legs, jubilating happily till she suddenly stopped and got her phone.
She messaged firefighter immediately.
MIMI: Are you there?
She waited for twenty minutes, but no reply came from fighter, she released an heavy sigh.
MIMI: I guess you’re busy, goodnight.
She sent that and dropped the phone, then she stood at the center of the room.
“JoJo Collins, come in please!” She said in miss Cindy’s voice, and she started catwalking, flaunting her hair and trying to move her slender waist with her steps, she made many poses when she got to the stopping point, then she smiled.
“I can do it, nothing can stop me” she said to herself.
