Episode 42
Christabel’s pov
The ball got stained with blood. It was from the prince. Blood was dripping down from his nose.
I quickly rushed to him and placed my hand on his nose. I carried the ball with me. Luckily, the boys were few and they were too busy to notice the prince.
Getting to the Prince’s room, I took him to his bed, placing the pillow under his head.
The blood was getting too much. Why?
I ran to the kitchen to get water and napkin to clean his face.
“Do you feel any pain?” I asked him.
“No. Just a slight headache.”
“You have blood all over your nose.”
“Just clean off the blood.” He replied, curtly.
I wonder why he replied me like that.
I did my job amd that’s by cleaning the blood that had stick to his face. The dried blood.
“You know sometimes, blood do drip from my ear.” He blurted.
“I guess you don’t eat good food.” I shrugged.
“And I guess you’ve been giving me poison.” He answered.
“No, I didn’t. When blood dripped from your ears was I the one who cook for you then?” I tried to prove innocence.
“Wh@tëver!”
I was through the cleaning and fortunately, the blood had stopped.
“I think you’re just like me. From the supernatural. Just don’t know what being you are.” I said.
“A vampire?” He asked.
“I guess. But you should ask your parents about it, my prince.” I told him and touched his head to see if his body is burning but it was just warm.
“They will never tell me.” He whined.
“Hmm….I should get you pain reliever. Do you have any?”
Instead, I felt his hand on my waist and he pulled close to him.
“No, you can be my pain reliever.” He grinned and pulled me more close to him.
My heart was beating fast due to closeness.
“I’m love sick.” He pouted.
“Love sick? Who are you in love with? And there’s no love doctor here. I would have asked the person to come treat you. Awwn! The prince is dying of love” I giggled.
He frowned at my silliness. Who the hell made him love sick?
“Too childish! I want a kissing medicine from you”
“You said what?” I said in shock.
