” If he dies, I…. I die too?” Jayce asked again to be sure and Silvio nodded.
He diverted his gaze to Spicy’s body that just finished disappearing and tears left his eyes..
” Can I do it?” Jayce wondered, staggering backwards as tears rolled down his cheek.
Zacus roared loudly, drawing Silvio and Jayce’s attention.
They both stared at his with dilated eyes. They couldn’t tell if it was still Zacus in front of them cos, he’s now huge and tall, a giant to be precise.
Zacus sent his hands forward and grabbed Silvio’s neck. He threw him across the room like a piece of paper and he vomited blood.
Zacus advanced towards him again, and made to kill him completely but was interrupted when his arm got wounded.
Angrily, He turned around to see who it was. Silvio looked behind Zacus too.
” You shouldn’t be here Luhnax” Silvio said as he stood up.
Luhnax didn’t listen as he made to attack Zacus. Zacus laughed, using just a wave of his hands to throw Luhnax away and he flew across the room, crashing into the glass by the door and it break.
” Dad stop!!” Jayce said in tears but Zacus only laughed.
” Just wait and see what I want” Zacus said going to meet Silvio who had a smirk on.
” I was chosen for this reason and I must fulfill destiny” Silvio rushed at Zacus who also went to him.
Luhnax and Jayce wanted to interfere but the energy leaving Silvio and Zacus kept throwing them away.
Silvio suddenly disappeared and reappeared behind Zacus, running his dagger into Zacus’ neck. Zacus rotated his head to the back and grabbed Silvio’s neck, choking the life outta him.
After struggling for a while, he freed himself from Zacus’ grip. He started coughing while Luhnax went to him.
” Master!”
” Get out of here Luhnax” Silvio muttered weakly and Zacus saw it as an opportunity to end Silvio’s life too.
He appeared in front of them and smirked as he stabbed Silvio.
Silvio’s eyes widened and he quickly looked at Luhnax.
Luhnax stare down at his bleeding stomach then cough out blood. He took the stab in Silvio’s stead.
He immediately th-ru_sted his own dagger into Zacus’ right eye, taking it out of it’s socket.
After he did that, he fell on his knees, groaning painfully.
” No Luhnax! Why did you take the stab in my stead?” Silvio asked, tears finding its way down his cheeks.
Jayce stood at a spot, crying too..
Zacus screamed loudly, anger written all over his face as he approached Silvio who’s tryna use his powers to save Luhnax.
He didn’t pay any more attention to Zacus since the only thing in his mind was saving Luhnax.
He shut his eyes firmly, trying to transfer part of his energy to Luhnax.
Zacus got to them and immediately raised his dagger with the aim of opening Silvio’s skull.
” Dad stop!!… Please” Jayce shouted and Zacus’ hands stopped midair.
” What’s the use of all this powers when no one is on your side?” Jayce asked, tears leaving his eyes.
” All I wanted was a dad who will love me, who will cherish me heartily. I’ve always admired you dad. I’ve always dreamt of being like you and one day become a dad like you but not in this way. You need to stop dad. I haven’t even lived my live to the fullest and now, I have to die if I’m to kill you. It’s not too late to give up dad”
” I don’t have a mother, I don’t have a girlfriend either and now, I shouldn’t have someone I can call Dad?” Jayce asked, sniffing.
” I’ve gotten what I wanted and all I need to do is cast a spell so the Guardian’s Grail and I become one fully then the human world would be under our control”
” Our control? Or your control? I don’t want any of this. I just want to live the carefree life I’ve been living all this while, is it so hard to ask for?” Jayce said again.
Zacus smirked and began laughing.
” I’ve gone to far to stop ” He laughed as his hands went down in full force almost penetrating Silvio’s head but somehow, it stopped Midway.
He looked back at Jayce who was now on a knee, crying. Zacus stared at the dagger on his ( Jayce’s ) wrist and began to smirk hurtfully.
” What did you just do?”
” I just stopped an obsessed monster, I’m your weakness after all” Jayce muttered in tears and that was when Silvio opened his eyes.
He looked at the blood dropping from Jayce’s wrist and tears glistened in his eyes.
” I thought I was gonna go to Gloara to apologise to the king.. I’m sorry Silvio, I know Spicy wouldn’t have died if Dad didn’t steal the Guardian’s Grail”
” Spicy’s death isn’t your fault, it’s her fate ” Silvio replied, a tear trickling down his cheek. Luhnax opened his eyes gently and he gasped as he watch Zacus’ body turned to dust.
” I wish I get reborn so I can live my life to the fullest in my next life. I hope I’ll be remembered for my bravery; the handsome guy who took his own life for the safety of his people” Jayce smiled sadly as part of his body started vanishing.
It was his fate so Silvio couldn’t save him, the bond of life between father and child is broken so they’ll both die. Nothing could reverse such fate.
” Thanks for being an annoying friend.. I really enjoyed our time together even though you were always mean” Jayce smiled.
” I’m sure Spicy and Winter would be waiting” That was the final thing he said before his body vanished into thin air.
All the tears Silvio’s been fighting back came rushing down like a stream. He tried to stop his tears but he couldn’t. He looked around and saw the golden Pearl floating, He went for it and took it.
” I lost everyone precious to me because of you ” He muttered tearfully and Luhnax bit on his lips hard.
Silvio sniffled, using his powers to rearrange the scattered house before erasing the memory of Jayce and Spicy from the earth.
He looked around the house again and all Spicy’s Pictures disappeared.
He smiled hurtfully.
” Your memory with me will never be forgotten cos you’re my first love” He said in his head as he disappeared from the house along with Luhnax back to Gloara.
