*****ARLETTE’S APARTMENT*****
Arlette jolt out of bed immediately the alarm rang out loud. She groaned and picked up her phone
She stood up and dashed to the bathroom for her morning routine
She came out almost immediately rushing to her wardrobe. She selected a blue short long sleeved gown with a little zip at the front
She wore it hurriedly and she rushed to the mirror picking up her brush. She brushed and packed her haur into bun. She applied bam on her lips. She checked herself out for the last time before picking up her bag
She walked out and met Channel also dressed. She walked up to her smiling while Channel returned the smile
She looked at Channel and was not satisfied with the cloth she is putting on
“Ehm… Channel, you need to change your cloth. It’s worn out and tattered already”. Arlette said looking at her
“I don’t have any other clothes to put on aside this one”. Channel replied almost tearing up
“I’ll give you something to wear. Since it Saturday, we’ll just go to the mall after today’s work”. She said and that brightened her mood
“Ok”. Channel replied and rushed to Arlette’s room while Arlette also followed behind
She brought out a long ash joggers and a black hoodie. Channel collected it and ran out of her room heading towards hers
She came out after a while and the clothes looks good on her
“Let’s go. We don’t have much time”. Arlette said leading the way
“Arlette”. Channel called and she looked back
“What’s the problem?”. She asked leaning on the door
“I need a job as well. So I can stand out and explore the world for a while because I know my brother will soon find me”. Channel said hoping for a positive response
“I’ll work on that but for now we are running late”. Arlette replied hurriedly and they both walked out of the house
She flagged down a taxi and they both got in heading to their location

*****REGGIE’S ROOM*****
He jolt out of bed with his heart beating rapidly. He had a terrible dream that almost took Birdie’s life
He picked up his phone but he dropped it back on a second thought. He scattered his already messed up hair sweating profusely
He sighed and stood up walking to the bathroom. He took off his cloth and Birdie and Arlette’s image popped in his head. He groaned dipping his head in the filled tub
He brought it out dipped it again but their image won’t leave his head. He brought it out again groaning
“Geez! I’m messed up right now. I’m now a confused being”. He muttered dipping his head into the tub
He brought it out again before entering fully. He exhaled deeply resting his head on the tub. He closed his eyes and water kept running down his face
He opened his eyes when he heard a loud bang on his door. He hissed knowing who the person is
He heard his name, he ignored it because he already knew who it was and why he is here
“We are heading to Resse house today. Have you forgotten?”. Ryatt asked yelling
“I’m not coming with you guys. Tell his parents I’m sick”. Reggie replied from the bathroom while Ryatt groaned before leaving the room
Reggie closed his eyes again while Arlette’s and Birdie’s image popped in his head. He pulled his hair aggressively groaning in pains but he still kept pulling it
“This Sh|t hurts a lot”. He said almost in tears
“I’m cursed. Fuçking cursed”. Reggie yelled hitting his hand in the soapy water

*****LANGLEY’S MANSION*****
Birdie knocked aggressively on Carl’s door(Her brother). He opened immediately smiling
“Hi baby sis”. Carl said as she walked into his room
“I need your help”. She said sitting on his bed
“With what?”. Carl asked with suspicious look on his face as he stared at her
“Convince Rocky’s parents for an engagement with Rocky”. Birdie said giving him puppy eyes
“We all know that’s not possible. He is very tough couple with the fact that he h@tës dad so much for what he did”. Carl said touching her shoulder
“Please, you promised to do anything for me”. Birdie said looking at him
“I know and don’t remind me about the promise I made. This case is different. The fact that dad tried and failed doesn’t mean I’ll be able to do that. Even mum is not in support of it. Just erase your feelings for him”. Carl said as he laid on his bed
“So you can’t help me?”. She asked and he sighed not looking at her
She stood up and stormed out of his room slamming the door shut

Arlette took various orders and she was extremely exhausted. Channel is still catching up but she is a bit slow and the guys won’t stop drooling
The owner of the restaurant is currently not around and that’s the main reason Channel is assisting Arlette even though the other workers aren’t in support of that
“A bottle of vodka”
“A cup of noodles please”
“Over here”
“Waitress”
“Attention here”
“Table 15 needs urgent attention”
“Table 12 needs to be cleaned”
She kept hearing voices from different angle of the restaurant. She groaned and begged Channel to attend to table 15
Channel walked up to table and she accidentally hit her leg on the chair
She was gradually going down but something prevented her from falling
She opened her eyes and saw a guy wearing mask with his hands wrapped around her tiny waist. She stared at him for a while before coming back to her senses
He helped her up and she adjusted her hoodie walking to the table
She met the same guy sitting there with a little girl and she knew who it was already. She cleared her throat to gain attention
The girl looked up and she smiled
“Do you work here?”. The girl asked while Channel shook her head and also nod
“I’m lost”. The girl said scratching her hair
“You are you too young to understand”. Channel said chuckling
“I’m Raquel”. She said stretching out her little hands
“Channel”. She replied taking her hands
“So I was told this table needs urgent attention. May I know what the problem is?”. Channel asked staring at Rocky who never took his eyes off her
“He is my brother. Rocky”. Raquel said introducing him
“Oh, nice to meet you”. Channel said
“So I guess this table has needs no attention anymore. I’ll just take my leave”. Channel said and bowed slightly
“Work as her nanny and get paid trice your payment here”. Rocky said still staring at her
“Huh?”
“Please works as my nanny. I like you already and I don’t know when next I’ll see you”. Raquel said with a pout
“I’ll give that a thorough thinking. I’ll get back to you later”. Channel said not knowing what else to say
“She needs a nanny before Monday. She won’t go to school until she gets a nanny. So please, I have things to do but I can’t just leave her like that at him with those maids”. Rocky said bringing out his phone
“Do you have a phone?”. Rocky asked and she shook her head immediately
“I’ll give Arlette a call so I can know your response. Good day”. He said standing up
“Please, I hope to see you tomorrow”. Raquel said and left the restaurant with Rocky
Channel sigh and walked to where Arlette stood giggling
