Nelson sat on a chair beside Sharon’s bed praying hopefully for her to recover. His eyes were red and watery as catarrh ran out of his nose profusely.
Sharon was really not in a good condition, drips were connected to her veins and oxygen was placed on her nose to enable her breathe.
Nelson fondled her palm in his.
“Sharon I know you can hear me from whatsoever place you’re, I want you to know that there’s someone who cares. Have I ever told you how I feel about you?” He cleaned his tears and focused on her innocent face.
“Whenever you come closer to me, my heart skips a bit. When you stared at me I got infected with love which I never believed in. A feeling of being with you makes me complete. I wish you could come back now then look into my eyes and tell me how you feel about me. Please come back please ” He kissed her hand and allowed his tears wash them.
“Nelson!” Bae Pixie called as she walked into the ward.
He quickly stood up and ran to hug her.
“Mom”
“My baby boy where have you been. The principal said you left the school without permission. I almost went unconscious when I heard about your disappearance. What happened? ” She asked shoving her hair behind her ear.
“Mom Sharon was in trouble and I had to help her” He said.
“What happened to her?”
“She got kidnapped and was almost dead when we came rescue her” Nelson wiping off his tears with the back of his hands.
“No boy don’t do that clean those tears and be strong for mama” She cheered him up.
Bae Pixie went closer to Sharon and shook her head in pity when she saw her.
“Son I know you really care about her but you can’t stay here till night. You have to go home the nurses will look after her, all your friends are gone and it’s getting late” Bae Pixie stated.
“Mom I don’t feel like returning home I want to be by her side please I…”
“Nelson you have school to attend tomorrow so let’s go home she’ll be fine” Bae Pixie half yelled.
Nelson sighed and turned to Sharon’s bed, he said a word of prayer before leaving with his mom.

Violet ran into the kitchen to make a call. The family were watching TV in the sitting room.
“Hello, now tell me what sought of a dazed and fat witted brain have you got?” Violet asked furiously over the phone.
“I beg your pardon” The voice said over the phone.
“I gave you a single task and you couldn’t carry out without blemishes. What’s wrong with you?”
“I don’t get you”
“She’s alive, she didn’t die” Violet said and silence took over.
She became startled when she heard someone clapping behind her.
She turned abruptly and saw Vivian clapping and smiling.
“How long have you been eavesdropping on my conversation?” Violet asked.
“Long enough to have heard everything you said. So Violet you can go any length just to please your selfish self isn’t it?” Vivian asked walking towards her sister.
“What do you mean?” Violet asked innocently.
“You kidnapped Sharon isn’t it? And your plan was to eliminate her but Nelson showed up for her isn’t that enough sign to show he’s not meant for you or do you want to force yourself on a guy that doesn’t like you a bit because of your bossy attitude?” Vivian said contemptuously.
“How dare you” Violet raised her hands to slap Vivian but Vivian held her hand on the air.
“Aren’t you feeling shameful Violet? You are no difference from mom like mother like daughter” She sneered and left Violet’s hand.
“I h@të you Vivian, how did you become my sister?” Violet asked with disgust.
“I guess it happened coincidentally” Vivian shrugged her shoulder before leaving the kitchen.
Violet stamped her feet furiously against the floor.
“Geez that girl has a big mouth she’s gonna expose me, I have to do something” She paced around the kitchen worriedly.

Nelson had five spoons of his cereals and stood up from his chair.
“Why in a hurry?” President Adrian asked.
“I need to visit the hospital before I go to school” He replied throwing his backpack over his shoulder.
“Tell her I miss her and she should come back soon” Gibson said and Nelson nodded.
“You should be careful okay”.Bae Pixie said though she wasn’t happy.
“Yes mom bye guys” He blew them a kiss and rushed outside.

Harrison and Tina were both coming out of the shopping mall with their hands full of shopping bags.
Harrison had finally found peace since he heard about Tina’s escape. They both got into the car and he ignited the engine.
“Thank you so much sir for the shopping” Tina said shyly playing with her fingers.
“There’s no reason to thank me c’mon I ought to do what I’m supposed to do ” He smiled.
“The police are trying their best to investigate the source of your kidnap, so you shouldn’t bother about been unsecured okay?”
She nodded slightly.
“I don’t think there’s any good in investigating who the culprit is, let’s just move on now that I’m out” She said.
“Why did you say so. Is there something you aren’t telling me?” He asked in a caring manner but she kept her lips glued.
He didn’t ask more questions till they reached her house.

HOSPITAL
Sharon had regained consciousness few hours ago and was been kept companied by Gabriel. He told her jokes and she laughed forgetting about her condition.
“Sharon can I ask you something?” Gabriel said staring at her.
“Sure go on”
“Do you have a crush on any boy?” He asked her.
“Why asking Gabriel?”
“Because I think I’ve fallen in love with you” He said and her eyes almost fell out of their sockets.
“Don’t say that again Gab” She muttered but he placed a finger on her lips.
“I love you” He muttered and engrossed her into a kiss.
Nelson came in immediately and saw them. He stopped on his tracks, grinned his teeth, folded his fist and went for attack.
He forcefully pulled Gabriel away from her and threw a punch on his face. Gabriel went down bleeding from his nose and lips.
“How dare you kiss her you betrayer!” Nelson yelled as tears formed in his eyes.
