” Hello Elizabeth.” Amaryllis greeted walking down the stairs. The room fell into silence. Only heartbeats could be heard. They all stared at her. Amaryllis had a little smile playing on her lips. ” Amaryllis!” Elizabeth gasped. ” You’re so beautiful.” She complimented. Amaryllis tilted her head to look her. ” Thank you.” She replied. Amaryllis suddenly smelt fear. She turned to the smell and turns out it came from Roxanne. ” Roxy baby Why are you so scared? I can literally smell the fear off you.” Amaryllis said too sweetly.
” You smile alot when you’re filled with rage.” Roxanne pointed out. ” You know me so well dear sister. But why can I say, I got it from my father.” She turned to look at Solar who had a smirk on his face. Amaryllis smiled and walked to him. She suprised everyone when she pulled him into a hug. Solar hugged back with the biggest smile ever. ” It’s good to see up close and not hidding in the dark looking out for me.” Amaryllis told him. ” You noticed.” Solar said. ” As I said to Roxanne, I got it from my father.” She replied and Solar chuckled.
” Amaryllis.” Elizabeth called. Amaryllis broke the hug with her father and turned to Elizabeth. ” Yes Elizabeth.” She replied. ” My baby. I’m sorry. I’m really really sorry. I don’t know what came over me. I just…” Elizabeth trailed off. ” You snapped. That’s what you did. You snapped. You were so used to having everything you want. And me stopping you in trapping Father, that irked you. So bad that you snapped!” Amaryllis exclaimed. She started walking around the room.
“You always wanted to be perfect. To get approval of everyone. Get everything you wanted. I can imagine how hard it must have been. To be rejected by your parents and lover. More like baby daddy. But than you had Roxanne’s father. I mean you were dating both of them at the same time. Which caused Father not to believe you when you said the child was his. I mean you can never be sure with a cheating partner. A mate at that point.” Amaryllis said. ” How do you know that?” Elizabeth asked wide eyed.
” Perks of getting genes from Solar Quinn. I feel powerful and I am. I can remember anything I want. Starting from the day I was born. It’s really interesting. And I don’t miss any single word or detail. But than the horrible thing is that my scars do not heal.” Amaryllis talked. ” Baby please forgive me. I’m so sorry.” Elizabeth was now full blown crying. ” Did you consider the fact that I was also crying? Wailing my 1 day vocals. But you didn’t care.” Amaryllis said. ” You said when Father left and I quote ‘this is all your fault. You’re a curse. Should I go on?” Asked Amaryllis.
“I didn’t mean any of that. I promise.” Elizabeth begged while crying. Amaryllis looked at her for a moment than said. “Cry Füçking bastard! Why aren’t you crying now?! Huh? You bloodly curse!!” When Amaryllis said those words, Elizabeth looked at her which shock, hurt and regret. It was the same words she said when baby Amaryllis cried that night. ” “You brought this upon yourself. My parents kicked me out and now my mate doesn’t want me anymore. He was going to leave that bloody wife of his and be with me. But no! You just had to be a girl! Girls are useless.

Elizabeth continued to weep as the others watched in silence but Roxanne was also crying not because of the pain her mother is feeling but for Amaryllis. What her mother did to Amaryllis was cruel. ” You’re a curse and always will be. Even in your new life. I wish you nothing but the worst. ” Amaryllis spat out. ” See? Now everything is going to get back to normal. My parents are going to love me so will my mate.
You were a mistake. A curse ment to ruin my life but I won’t allow that. I’m the writer of the book of my life. And you’re not in it.” Amaryllis chuckled at the end. ” I guess we’re done here. Get out before I kill you myself.” Amaryllis said before walking back upstairs only to sneak out.

” Why are we here so early again?” Yannis groaned the hundredth time. Carter and Raiden sighed and looked at him. ” What? I have insomnia. Every sleep is important!” Yannis snapped. ” You don’t have insomnia Yannis. You’re just fustrated that you haven’t found your mate yet!” Carter shot back. Yannis rolled his eyes. ” Well some of us aren’t lucky enought to find our mate when she’s like 16.” Yannis exclaimed.
” Yeah Yeah. Grow up.” Carter said to him. ” Someone’s here.” Yannis said. ” Yeah. Way to change the topic.” Raiden and Carter chuckled. ” No. Really someone’s here. There’s this smell of hot chocolate mixed with strawberries berries.” Yannis said. Raiden and Carter gave him a look that says ‘dude that’s just weird’. ” I’m serious.” Yannis snapped. He started following the smell. Raiden and Carter rolled their eyes but followed him nonetheless. It led him to the janitors room. ” Mate!” He whispered but Raiden and Carter heard. Their eyes widen when they heard a very familiar gasp.
The janitor’s room opened. Yannis’seyes widen even more when his suspicion was confirmed. He was Brianna’s second chance mate. ” What are the 4 of you doing there?” They turned around to see Ashton and Harris looking at them weirdly. Harris was the one who spoke. ” Nothing!” Raiden spoke up first. “Hmm.” Harris hummed as he and Ashton nodded not quiet sure to believe them or not. “What are you two doing?” Raiden asked. ” Yeah you’re usually late to school.” Carter pointed out. ” Yeah That’s why we’re here actually. Do you know where we can find Acacia?” Harris asked.
” You’re looking for Acacia? She’s lesbian.” Brianna blurted out before she could stop herself. Yannis gave her a certain look. ” I don’t care. So do you know where we can find her?” Harris asked again. ” We don’t know. Acacia is really scarce at school. You only see her at gym.” Raiden replied. Ashton suddenly turned back. Acacia was there looking at them. They all saw her. Ashton smiled at her. Acacia raised an eyebrow. Ashton nodded. They others looked confused but Harris seemed to understand.
” I’m left. You’re right!” Ashton told Harris and Harria nodded. Acacia looked at Harris. He smriked at her. Acacia smiled than sprinted off. Ashton took off by the left and Harris followed Acacia by the right. ” What was that?” Yannis asked. ” They were talking in facial expression.” Raiden chuckled. ” The question is Why did Acacia run?” Brianna stated. ” Forget about them. What about you and Yannis being mates?” Carter asked. ” If you Füçkin hurt my sister, I’ll Füçkin you!” Raiden warned Yannis. Yannis chuckled nervously. ” That’s if she lets me in.” They all turned to see Brianna gone.
” Whitney! Stop!” Ashton shouted running after Acacia. She stopped when she heard him call her Whitney. She slowly turned and looked at him. ” Took you long enough!” She chuckled. Harris reached her first. Ashton suddenly stopped when he was close enough. ” Mate!” They both said in shock. ” I thought you were lesbian.” Harris pointed out. ” I am!” Acacia snapped. ” And I already got a mate.” She said. ” That means your original mate is dead or won’t be alive any time soon.” Ashton told her. Acacia’s eyes widen.
