When I got back from the office, I was extremely tired, I entered Raymond’s room I saw him, he was ready for the trip.
I felt bad, because I will be the only one at home, I guess he noticed the suddenly changes on my face.
Babe it’s just a business trip, it’s a three days trip he said touching my face slightly.
I know babe, I can’t stay without you I said looking at his cute face.

We got into the car, I hope I didn’t hurt much he said breaking the silent.

Soon we arrived at the airport and we came out of the car, people were just staring at us.
They’re looking at us he muttered into my ears, I chuckled softly..

He smiled, and the maids, make sure you let them do the cooking and cleaning he said.
Alright I will, knowing fully well that, I won’t won’t let the maids cook.

I drove back home, I walked into the living room I had a discussion with the maids, they’re on leave, they’ll be back before Raymond comes back.
If Raymond gets to know he will be angry, I know that for sure.
Am already missing him, I took the remote control for the television.
I turned on the TV, I was watching a movie, soon I went to the kitchen to prepare something to eat.
Can’t tell the reason why I’m eating too much, I brought out three packs of Noddles.
I turned on the cooking gas, I placed the little pot on the gas, soon my delicious noodles was ready, I dished out the food on plate, I took it to dinner, after eating I took the plates dish washer and I quickly washed them, before leaving the kitchen.
I went back to the living room, I continued watching the movie, it was interesting and fun.
I didn’t know when I slept off on the couch, I wish Raymond was here he would have carried me to my room I thought.
I went to the room, I quickly freshen up after bathing I came out of the bathroom, I changed my clothes, I lay on the bed.
Two hours later
Raymond’s POV ?
I lodged in a hotel, I called Jenny but she isn’t picking up my calls.
And it’s getting me angry, where did she kept her phone for Christ sake.
She needs to pick up my f! cking call I almost smashed my phone on the floor, when I got a call, I thought she was the one calling but it wasn’t her.
It was my manager, I told him that I have arrived, my manager has called, but my wife hasn’t called and I have been calling her she’s not picking up.
Sir they’re waiting for you my secretary said.
Alright I’ll be right there I said.
I stared at my phone for some time, maybe she will call me back but it was all in vain.
I walked out of the room angrily, this way sir she directed me to the hall.
I was concentrating on what they were saying, thank God I came with my secretary.
Soon the meeting was over, I walked back to my room, I took my phone I unlocked it still haven’t received any call from her.
This is driving me insane, why can’t she pick my calls I thought.
I heard a knock on the door, I walked closer to the door, I opened the door.
Here’s your food sir she said with a smile.
I didn’t order anything like that I said looking at her as she smiled.
Well someone order it for you she replied, and who’s that I asked.
To my surprise it was my secretary, thanks but I’m not hungry I replied.
But sir you haven’t eaten anything yet since we arrived at the hotel she said.
Don’t worry about me, I’m fine I replied, walking back to my room.
I sat on the bed thinking about Jennifer why she haven’t called me back or even pick my calls, maybe I should try messaging her I hope she will reply my message.
I text her, and still call her but no response from her, I tried the home line no one picked up, at least if she didn’t answer the phone the maids should do it I thought.
I remember she told me that she can’t stay alone in that house.
Oh goodness, I’m scared I hope nothing bad happens to her.

Such things has never happened before, she would have called me to know, if I have arrived at my destination.
I tried her number again, she doesn’t want to pick up, this is would be the last time I’m calling her.
I won’t call her again, since she’s not picking my calls.
Oh God please protect my wife she’s all I have in this world, I can’t live without her.
Text her again, I know she’ll definitely response to my messages.
I just want to hear her voice, and know how she’s doing.
I don’t even know if she has eaten anything yet, where the hell is the maids I thought.
Could it be that, they went to the supermarket, but if had been in the supermarket they have wasted much time there I thought.
I just hope and pray that my wife is safe.
