When I woke up I picked up my phone, I placed my finger print scanner my phone unlocked …
Oh my God I exclaimed.
I jumped out of the bed, how could I be so stupid, I didn’t notice when he called.
He must be worried about me, maybe he wants to tell that he has arrived at his destination.
He must called the home line, and no one responded to the call.
I dailed his number, it was ringing but he didn’t pick up my call.
Maybe he’s still angry with me, I dailed his number again, hopefully he will answer.
It ended, I threw my phone on the bed, he’s angry with me, am about to loose my husband to another woman I thought.
I’m sorry Raymond, I was asleep when you called and texted me.
I sent him a text saying that “I’m sorry I couldn’t pick up your calls”.
I was waiting maybe he would call me back when he sees my text I thought.
I dailed his number again, I was so excited when he picked up my call.
Hello babe I said.
Hi honey how are you doing he said.
I’m fine what about you I said
I’m good as long as I heard your voice he replied.
I’m sorry I didn’t pick your calls, I was asleep when you called and texted me I said.
I was scared I thought maybe something bad had happened to you, he said.
I’m okay and I’m strong enough I said sitting on the bed.

I will call you in the evening, to know how you’re doing he said.
I smiled, no prob babe I will definitely pick up your calls I said.
I miss you Mr Raymond I really want to see you and touch you I said.
I miss you too babe, I can’t wait to get back from this trip, I will give you a nice ride he said.
I chuckled softly, I fold my lips I will wait for you to get back I said.

Raymond’s POV ?
I didn’t notice that my phone has been ringing, I’m glad I heard her voice, that means she’s okay and I don’t need to worry much.
I miss her so much, I can’t wait to watch her slept off on my chest.
I placed an order, soon the maid arrived with a tray containing the food I requested.
She kept it on the table, then left I uncovered the food, I started eating from the food.
I really miss Jennifer’s cooking, I thank goodness, am happy that she’s fine.
But why’s she feeling tired and sleepy already, maybe it’s because I haven’t been around.
After eating, I went to Washroom to freshen up, I sit on the bed, I brought out my laptop, after sending the email to the team, I dailed Jennifer’s number again.
It rang but she didn’t answer, i called her again she didn’t answer, what hell is going.
I lay on my bed, I was about to call her again when she called me back.
Hello Ray good evening she greeted.
Babe where have you been i have been calling you but you are not answering I said.
Am Ray I was in the shower when you called please forgive me she said.
Alright how you feeling now, you said that you are feeling tired and sleepy I said.
I’m fine now Ray, you don’t have to worry about me, I will take care of myself she said.
Babe are you sure that you are okay, if there’s anything wrong with you, please tell me I don’t mind leaving the meeting I said.

Okay babe have you eaten anything yet I asked.
Ahmm no but I eat when am done, please babe take care of yourself she said.

What is she doing, she should have eaten something by now I thought.
