chapter 58
the pillar which Gael held on to started cracking and his eyes widen
“no no no ” Gael panicked
“ahhhhhh ” xyra roared like a wounded lioness ,the floor burst open giving way for more lava , the pillar gael held onto shattered and every piece was attracted up in the wormhole along with Gael
“ahhhhh damnit ” he scream as he flew streight into the sky behind him were other materials and people . just before he could enter the round shape funnel mouth of the wormhole which is surrounded by pieces of rocks, woods an other materials also human bodies. round dark cloud surrounded the wormhole and the loud sound of thunder clap and flashes of lightning could be seen . someone grab Gael Midway in and they appeared back on the ground
“oh my God am still alive ” he beamed in relief then he turn to his saviour and it was hala fox
“Hala how come you’re here I means you can’t leave the jungle ” he said shocked to see her
” well my mother set me free after informing me of what your stupid brainless sister just did .” she yelled and they both turn to the direction of xyra who is still hanging on the air with green light surrounding her body making it to see her body
“what’s the plan ”
“she’s not supposed to absorb it , her powers are overflowing causing both reality and time to clash , this will cause volcano to erupt and oceans to over flow , earthquake , storms even worst lighting rain and many more disaster . gods powers aren’t supposed to be expose in the human world for safety reasons “she yelled , a loud thunder clap was made which shook the earth and the both staggered back
“Hala forget about the lectures and let’s find a way to stop her before she destroy this whole place “Gael yelled and hala fox gulp down not because she’s scared but because she has no plan in mind , she came here as soon as her sister delivered their mother messages . Gael noticed her lost look and he gasp
“oh no no Hala don’t give me that look ,don’t tell me you have no plan in mind “he yelled out in frustration
she gave him a pleading look
“I have non Gael ” she mumbled
“this is bad this is ..” Gael couldn’t even finish his words when a large lightning bolt hit the ground close to him and the impact sent him flying out of sight

Kyle stared around the huge shield above him and just like him they all were scared ,his eyes landed on Erica whose nose is now bleeding ,she’s trying hard to hide it from them but he saw I and he quickly ran to her
“Erica you’re bleeding ” he yelled and lift her face up , her nose is bleeding badly and her eyes already red “ahhhhh ” she wince when 2 lightning smashed on her shield
“Erica stop you’re hurting yourself ”
“no no I-I c-can hold it ” she cried
“you can’t you’re growing weaker at every collision , you have to bring down the shield “Kyle yelled but she shook her head negative
” no “she said panting hard
“he is right Rica you have to bring down the shield ” agatha chirped in ,Milo who was beside her nodded in agreement
Erica saw the look on their face and all she saw was fear,if she bring down the shield then they are all dead for sure
“i-i can’t am sorry I can’t do ahhhhhh ” she cried and lost connection and her shield cracked due to the impact ,more lightning bolt hit the shield and it started cracking
“oh no this won’t last long ,Erica stop you’re killing yourself .” Kyle yelled and grab her hand trying to break her connection but instead he groan the moment he touched her .erica gasped and blue sparks like electricity traveled through her body ,all her pains vanished it felt like she hadn’t felt any to start with .
“what just happen” Milo ask staring at Erica whose body is now glowing
“I felt weird when he touched me ” Erica said now staring at Kyle who equally looks confuse because also he felt something something weird and different.
“I felt it too ,it felt like …”
” being whole ” the both said at the same time
” being whole what the hell does that mean “Agatha ask giving them a crazy kind of look
” there’s one way to find out ” Kyle said and pull erica to himself and he claimed her lips into his as soon as he kissed her their body both produce large among of blue light which shown brightly even the shield also glowed and the cracks vanished .
“woa ” Milo marveled …
“maybe kisses do have magic ” Agatha who is busy staring the Erica and Kyle grumbled and Milo giggled …

Gael managed to stagger up and he wince , his knees and elbow were badly bruised
“you alright ” she said
“i don’t know ” he grumbled and his eyes landed on a gold dagger on the floor , he quickly ran to it and he picked it up
“I have a plan ” Hala said immediately she saw the dagger which Gael is how holding , she came close to him and collected the dagger
” I need you blood ” she said and with out hesitate he stretched his palm and she slashed it and allow few drop of his blood to fall on the dagger blade.
“umm ” he wince
” what do you wanna do ,let me guess stab her with that ” he asked
“am gonna force back Phostus powers into her body and ones I do that stab this right into her heart . your blood is gonna be toxic to her system and ones it goes In to her heart it will immediately take effect . take “she said wave the dagger and the blood on it glowed ,she handed the dagger back to him .
he didn’t get any of what she had just said
“I don’t understand” he said
“I don’t wish for you to undersrand Gael , now ones I force back all the powers she’s discharging back into her body strike her using the dagger “she said and turn to xyra . Hala levitate up and stretches out her hand
“let’s begin ” she whispered and her eyes turned dark with no eye balls , she drew an unknown symbol on the air causing purple light to trail her fingers .
all the powers floating out of xyra started coming back together .green energy all around flew back Into xyra body causing her more pain and she scream out unable to contain all of it , her skin cracks produced white light and her eyes wide open .all the powers came together forming a large orb
“no noooo” she screamed and strong wind burst out of her body
“now ” Hala yelled and Gael exhaled and threw the dagger forward and like a spinning arrow it flew towards xyra . the dagger th-ru_st into her heart and the whole place exploded with red energy which blast Hala and Gael way .

the lighting rain stop and the sky cleared up almost immediately ,the sound of bird chirps filled the air as the sun finally resurface. Erica shield disappear and they all exhaled while staring at the clear sky
“I guys the lighting rain is over ” Milo said smiling
” all thanks to you 2 for protecting us ” Agatha said smiling at Kyle and Erica who were holding hands while staring at the sky .
they both shared looks and chuckled
“where ever you are Gael I hope you’re safe ” Agatha thought …

Gael found himself standing
at an unknown place filled with bright multicolor lights ,there’s no sky or floor its like the sky is also the floor .
“welcome Gael ” a voice rang and Gael turn and there stood an elderly man who looks like he might be in his late 70s or so .
“Arturo ” Gael called shocked and same time honored to be in front of the king of the God’s ,Arturo chuckled and walked close to him
“why am I here wait am I dead no no can’t be dead I need to return to Agatha “he panicked
” you aren’t dead Gael ”
” then what is this place ,why am I here “he ask
” first of all Gael you have been chosen to be a guardian who will watch over the human world just like Phostus did when he was alive ”
” hahaha I don’t have magic any more “Gael said laughing , Arturo nodded with arms folded behind his back as he slowly turn around now backing Gael who seems curious.he spun around and threw a fire ball at Gael who redirect it by wave his hand and the ball flew to another direction .Gael mouth drop and confusion washes on him and Arturo chuckled
” years back when you and your siblings created witches and other magic users you guys made them the universal guardians of balance and right now only the witches can keep the world in balance but the problem now is all magic is connected to you and your siblings which means if you all die magic will die with you guys and it won’t exist any more”he said and Gael frown , Arturo point was starting to make sense .
“magic needs an anchor someone who it will be connected to so that it won’t disappear from this world. only you and your siblings can be it’s anchor since you guys are is parents . Pamela , kia , Kan and xyra are all dead living you the only surviving Hamlin , look Gael what am trying to say is that you are the only anchor alive to hold magic together and that’s the reason why the universe won’t let you die , the universe has restore your powers ”
” no no Phostus orb has been taken from me so how comes “Gael ask while trying to digest all Arturo is saying
” yes Phostus powers has been taken but the universe has link you to herself and now your powers comes directly from her . you’re much more powerful now and lastly because you are the anchor of magic your immortality has been restored”Arturo said smiling but the look on Gael face doesn’t show any form of joy it’s like he doesn’t want his powers back .
“hell no I don’t want any of this I want to be human , I want to be close to Agatha I want us to grow old together and die together , I want use to raise our children and watch after our grandchildren . no way I don’t want Immortality I want to be mortal I want to be human “Gael yelled at the top of his voice , Arturo was taken aback by his outburst .
“what that’s foolishness , love means nothing Gael you are now powerful enough to have many more woman of your choice you don’t need her I can even get an immortal wife for you if you want “Arturo said but it seems he had just gotten Gael even more angrier
“i said no , I want Agatha I want her and her alone please take my powers find a new anchor . I wanna be human I wanna be human and not some puppet to the universe “he yelled , Arturo was quiet for while while staring at gael who is breathing hard obviously angry .
“I can’t take your powers Gael you are…”
“stop calling me the anchor I don’t need to god-d@mn position find someone else “he yelled
” look Gael the universe choiced you and there’s nothing you can do about it, it’s either you accept it or she will turn against you and worst she will hunt down your love ones until you agree to be what she wants you to be “Arturo said , Gael rough his hair agitated he yelled and squatte down
“no no this isn’t what I was planning, the only immortality I want is to stay with Agatha and for use to grow old and die together I don’t want any of this please help me . “Gael said and for the first time ever tears roll down his cheek
“I might have a solution” Arturo said and Gael rouse up quickly the moment he heard his said this
“what ” he ask staring at directly at Arturo who sigh and took his gaze back to the floor .
“I can create a dream avatar of you ” he said
“I don’t understand” Gael said with a sigh
” I will put you to sleep and create another version of you who will be human , he will carrying your consciousness. it’s like splitting you but in this case your avatar will be human and can grow old and when he dies you will wake up but all will be like a dream “arturo said and truth be told Gael didn’t understand much but if this dream avatar can allow him stay with Agatha till dead then he will do it .
“will I be able to procreate in this dream avatar form ” he asked an Arturo nodded
” yes your dream avatar is just like you but a human version of you who doesn’t have magic or immortality “he said , Gael exhaled and clinched his fist tight
” I will do it “he said and Arturo nodded and snap his fingers and a casket made of gold and white tiles appeared beside them.
“your real body will be in here while your consciousness will be transfer to your avatar so if you’re ready then get in “Arturo said to Gael who didn’t waste time to climb into the casket ,Arturo was amazed by his action for indeed love makes men do insane things .
“but if I may ask why do you so badly want to go back as human when you can be an immortal and still be with her ,you can stay by her side until she dies “Arturo’s to Gael who smile sadly
” Kathrine turned evil because she was scare . she thought if she grow old I won’t love her anymore and that’s why she’s what she is today but I don’t want what happen to Katherine to repeat itself this time I will stay with the woman I love and we will both grow old and die together and after that I might accept to be the anchor “Gael said smiling then he turn to Arturo who shrug
“it’s your discussion anyways now lay down your body ” he commanded and Gael nodded and slowly lye down and shut his eyes …
“and last before I forget when you wake up in your avatar body you won’t remember any of this conversation till you wake up from your dream “Arturo said and before Gael could react he shut the casket cover . he muttered words in an unknown language and the casket glowed and brightly and after a while it stop glowing ..
“till we meets again Gael Hamlin” Arturo said and vanished out of sight living the casket inside the multicolor dimensions only God knows what this place is …
