“What did you do for your boss to choose a monkey like you?” Eric asked with a serious expression,,,he is really serious about his question
“Do you really wanna know?” Elora asked with a Smile ( Devil’s smile)
“Yes” David nodded his head
Elora retracted back towards the door and locked it
“What…what are you doing?” David asked
“What do you think” Elora smirked evily as she approached him
“Am so sorry” David begged as he tried to run away but Elora was fast enough to caught up with him as she held and dragged him by the hair
David opened his mouth to scream but Elora shuned him immediately
“If you let out any sound, you won’t have any hair remenant on your head again” Elora warned making David to wimped and cry silently
“Am sorry sweet sister”David begged but his pleas was like pouring water on a stone as Elora continued dealing with him
“Who did you just called a monkey?” Elora asked
“Nobody,,,you aren’t a monkey,,, you are the most beautiful sister I have ever had,,, your Beauty shined brighter like a star” David said in pains, Elora hearing this smiled inwardly but still had serious expression on her face

Back in the sitting room***
“Why is your face red David?” Mrs Brooke asked when she saw Elora and David approach her and her son in-law to be_ they were actually having a little chat
“Is it?” David asked as he touched his face
“Hm” Their mother hummed as she observe her two children,,, she definitely had the idea of what had transpired between them
“I applied something on my face” David replied with a smile
“What’s that?” Mrs Brooke asked
“A face smoother” He replied
“Oh,,,is such a nice one,,,keep applying it dear” Mrs Brooke smiled but is only her two children who understood the sarcasm in her voice
“How are you David?” Grey asked, when the two has settled down
“Am fine” David replied curtly as he threw his face away
“David that’s a rude way to reply someone” Mrs Brooke said
David glared at Elora who glared back at him immediately
Mrs Brooke cleared her voice
“Are you sure you don’t need anything son in-law” Mrs Brooke asked
“No mother am fine” Grey replied
“No am not buying that again,,, Elora go get something for him” Mrs Brooke said giving her daughter sign who immediately stood up
“Am really fine,,,me and Elora just had dinner as of recent” Grey replied
“Oh” Mrs Brooke smiled
“But a drink can do” Grey said so that it won’t look as if he rejected to have something at his girlfriend’s house,,,it will look so wrong
“I will go get it then” Elora said and made to walk away
“Wait” Grey said making Elora turn to look at him
“I will really like it if David get it for me” Grey said,,, David hearing this raised up his head,,, Grey said this because he doesn’t want Elora to stress herself,,, he doesn’t understand the situation whereby the senior sister will be doing something that the junior one suppose to do and also he understood the brother and sister war between the siblings
Elora and her mother turned to look at David,,, Mrs Brooke gave his son sign to go and get it
David sighed inwardly and got up,,,when he left Mrs Brooke turned to face Grey
“How have you been son in-law?”
“Mom” Elora muttered sighing
“What?”
“Why are you calling him son in-law?”
“Without you telling me anything I already know” Mrs Brooke grinned
“Huh” Elora turned to look at Grey who smirked at her_ now she remembered,,, when she was dealing with David, her mother and Grey actually discussed
What did they talk about?!
Did they gossip about her?!!

Mrs Brooke couldn’t finish her sentence because Grey immediately placed his hands on Elora’s as he said
“Am inlove with your daughter ma” he blurted out
Elora blinks her eyes,,,she never expected that he will say that
Mrs Brooke smiled,,, her son in-law was such a bold and upright man
The little talk she had with him proved it and now he is still proving it,,,Is not just because of his words but because of the sincerity in it… The man truely loves her daughter
“You have my support” Mrs Brooke said making Elora smile,,,for long now she has been contemplating on how she is going to introduce Grey to her mother without her scolding her,,, saying she is having an affair with her boss but now the reverse is the case
Surely heaven has truely blessed her
“Mom” Elora said with a watery eyes as she went and hugged her mother whispering into her ears
“Thank you Mom”
Grey too got up and bowed thanking the old lady
He was so happy,,, having been accepted by Elora’s mother.
Is now left for David to accept him because he is having the feelings that David doesn’t like him
David was seen coming towards them with a bottle of wine and glass cup,,,he wore a confused Expression on the scene before him
“Please manage this wine son in-law,,,I know it isn’t that expensive and arn’t compared with the one you use to drink”
“No No,,,I love it” Grey shook his head as he nods his head enjoying his wine
“Am still confused” David said
“About what?” Elora asked
“About how…how,,,like… well” David stuttered,,,he doesn’t know how to form his words
“Sir” He called Grey
“Hm”
“Are you really dating my sister?”
“Yes”
“Okay” David nodded his head, he wanted to talk more but because of the daggers eyes glaring at him made him to swallow up his words
Just then his eyes landed on Grey’s T-shirt,,, widening up his eyes he asked
“Is that Eli’s Make?”he asked pointing at Grey’s designers T-shirt
“Hm” Grey nodded
“O. M. G” David rushed and sat in between Elora and Grey, slightly pushing Elora to the other side
“Do you like it?” Grey asked seeing the way David was admiring it
“Hm,,, actually I wanted to buy it but it was too expensive and and…”
“I will give to you if you really want it” Grey cut him off making David to look up at him with a widened eyes
“Really?”
“Hm,,,I even got more of them at home,,, you can come over and have them and even the pants” Grey said
“Really!” David couldn’t believe his ears
“Yes” Grey nodded with a smile
“Thank youuuuu” David immediately hugged him
Elora just rolled her eyes and their mother was just smiling
“You can stay over at our house since is late” David immediately suggested,,,Grey smiled,,,it was such a good idea
“I don’t mind” Grey said
“No!” Elora immediately rejected it
David and Mrs Brooke turned to glare at her making her to immediately fold her mouth, but yet she must protest against it
“Don’t you have early morning meeting tomorrow?” Elora asked
“I will go from here” Grey replied
“You will be late”
“Am the boss”
