“What do you say cup cake? Will you come live with me or will you let this poor students be evicted? It’s your choice” Romeo said as he grinned down at a angry Tahlia.

“Tick tick says the clock don’t you intend to give me a reply?” Romeo asked while everyone watched them.
“Michelle, do me a favour and make sure everyone get back to their dorm. I have something important to tell this guy” Tahlia said to Michelle who shook her head.
“Don’t do it. If you tell him the truth,he might get angry and try to do something to you” Michelle said pleadingly.
“I don’t know the him you are referring to but if it’s me then you should feel at ease since there’s no way am going to harm a hair on her. To me, Tahlia is a jewel” Romeo said smiling down at her.
“I doubt you will end up thinking of me that way once you find out the truth. Do as I say Michelle, I will be back” Taking hold of his hand she pulled him towards his car.
“What’s this? Do you plan on taking me to a private hotel where we can both have a steamy night?” Romeo asked behind her and she turned to glare at him.
“Get in the car!” She ordered while he did a salute.
“Yes ma’am ” he said before moving to the other side of the car.
As soon as he turn the car into the next street, Tahlia told him to stop.
“Oh, so you want us to do it in a car but I would prefer a hotel. Never mind, I love to do it anywhere as long as it’s with you” Romeo said and made to touch her but she hit his hand away.
“Get rid of that dirty thought and listen to me” she said looking very serious
“What am about to say might get you angry but have got to say it. You see, what you feel isn’t your true feeling”
“I had a spell cast on you” Tahlia added slowly.
“What did you just say?” A stunned Romeo asked and Tahlia braced herself before speaking again.
“You are under a love spell Romeo. I had a love spell cast on you and that’s why you are in love me ” she said again knowing that it’s certainly going to get him angry but instead Romeo burst into laughter.
“Is that a joke? If it is then it’s the best joke have ever heard”
“It’s not a joke, Romeo. I had it done cause I thought you were in love with Stephanie but things got out of hand and you ended up falling in love with me instead of my sister ” she said which got looking serious.
“Think about it. You weren’t in love with me but suddenly you fell for me which is the spell doing” Tahlia added quickly while he kept starring at her without saying a word.
“Am so sorry Romeo. If I had known earlier that you weren’t dating Stephanie, I swear I wouldn’t have gone ahead to…”
“Am surprised at the lies you have to cook up just to get rid of me” he said suddenly, cutting her off from finishing her sentence.
“You think am lying? It’s the truth Romeo, you don’t love me and…”
“Enough Tahlia!” He yelled startling her into silence.
“You should have just told me to get lost instead of creating those lies. Well, you’ve got what you want, I won’t bother you again so get out of my car” he ordered and though she was surprised by his sudden change of attitude, she did as he said and immediately he drove off.
She should be happy that she’s got him off her back but instead she feel so guilty.

<< ROMEO'S HOME >>
As soon as Romeo got home it was to see Cherry and her mother leaving their home.
“Good to see you Romeo. You keep getting more handsome” Hilda Edgar said as she gently tap his cheek while Cherry stared at the handsome Romeo.
“And you keep getting prettier” He replied making the older lady flush.
“I better let you have a talk with Cherry. You must look good tomorrow, after all it’s an important day for you and Cherry” Hilda said before leaving for her car while Romeo stared at Cherry in confusion.
“What did she mean by an important day for us?”
“Both our moms are planning a party tomorrow. It’s a big event and you’ve got to come” Cherry replied looking very serious.
“May I at least know what this party is…”
“Oh! Have got to go, see you tomorrow” Cherry said and on impulse she gave him a kiss on the cheek before joining her mom in the car.

<< NEXT DAY~ SPRING DAY COLLEGE>>
“You did what?” Daniella shriek out as the four of them sat at table in the cafeteria having their lunch.
“I told him about the spell” Tahlia replied.
“But why?”
“What do you mean by why? It’s the right thing for her to do” Michelle replied coolly while Daniella rolled her eyes in return.
“There goes our one chance of being amongst the rich” Daniella muttered sadly.
“Do you think he will stay away? It’s a love spell?” Dennis asked.
“I don’t know, we will just have to see” Tahlia replied.
“Speak of the devil and he appear” Michelle said just as Romeo walk into the cafeteria with his friends.
Tahlia watch as they went to get their order before having their seat and during that moment, Romeo didn’t look her way.
“Seems like we’ve got our answer” Dennis muttered while Daniella made a sad pout.

<< LATER THAT DAY >>
Tahlia got to her part-time job only to be told that they will be working outside the cafe.
“You will all be working as a waitress and I expect you to do your duty perfectly” their boss said and immediately Tahlia along with three other girls went to get ready for this big event.
They got to the hall where the party will be carried out.
While Tahlia stayed in the kitchen refilling the empty glass, the other three girls went about serving it to the guest.
“What a party!” Delila, one of her fellow waitress said as she return with an empty tray.
“Did something happen?” Tahlia asked.
“When it comes to the rich, a lot of things happen. Turns out some rich lady kids are getting engage today which is what the drama is about” Delila told her.
“Really? Who is it?” Tahlia asked and when Delila came to get her, their boss came in calling for her attention.

“You still haven’t told me what this party is about?” Romeo said as he spoke on phone with his mom.
“Once you get here, you will know. Don’t be late” Felicia replied before ending the call.
“Why is she being secretive?” Romeo muttered as he got out of his car while the valet took care of it.
Walking into the hall where the event was taking place, he was surprised to see his friends there.
“You didn’t tell me that you were coming to this event too?” He said as soon as he got to where they were seated.
“Well that’s because your mom told us to keep it a secret” Liam replied slowly.
“A secret? Why?”
“Don’t tell me you don’t know what this party is for?” Donald asked while Jerry said nothing.
“They never told me a thing” he said now noticing Cherry with his mom.
“Then it’s best we let you hear it from your mom” Liam said quickly.
“You are getting engage to Cherry. That’s what this party is for” Jerry said startling Romeo while recieving a angry look from Donald and Liam.
At that moment, Romeo’s mother call for everyone attention so she could announce the engagement.
On the other hand, Tahlia was returning from the rest room when she noticed Dennis in the broadcasting room.
“What are you doing here?” She asked surprisingly.
“I work here and currently am in charge of this room, I have to make sure the sound equipment doesn’t fail since this party is a very important one” Dennis told her.
“Working part time is the best we can do to support ourselves and home” Tahlia said wistfully.
” Well that’s the case for others but for you it might be different if you just let Romeo shower you with his money and love” Dennis tease lightly.
“I already told you that he’s under the influence of the love spell, he doesn’t love me like he thinks and besides am madly in love with Louis, there’s no place for him in my heart” Tahlia told him seriously.
“Fine, wh@tëver you say though it’s going to be waste. Can you stay here for a while, I need to use the rest room” Dennis said as he quickly left the room.
Tahlia couldn’t help but to stare around the room. She was doing her explore when she noticed a sheet which had a writing on it.
While taking the sheet she pressed on a button unknowingly.
On the other hand Romeo watch his mom announcing his marriage to Cherry which made him angry.
“They’ve actually been friends since high school and so my friend and we can tell that they will make a very good couple which is why we’ve decided to get married” Felicia said into the mic while everyone listened to her.
At the same time, Tahlia began reading out the script in the broadcasting room.
“No!”
“He can’t marry her….Am the one he loves no matter how you h@të the fact”
Unknown to her she could be heard by everyone at the party.
Felicia who was startled just like everyone else continued with her speech.
“Romeo’s engagement with Cherry will…”
“Am telling you that am the one he loves! Why do you insist on getting him engage to someone one else” Tahlia said as she kept reading from the script.
“Am sorry everyone but I think something is wrong” Felicia said as she put the mic down before getting off the podium.
“Seems like someone doesn’t want you to get engage?” Donald said to Romeo while he began laughing.
“Do you know who it might be?” Liam asked Romeo who shook his head in return.
Jerry let out a smirk when he saw the confused look on Cherry’s face.
“Serve her right” he muttered under his breath.
“Am glad you’ve realised that am the one who love your son. I promise to make him happy for the rest of our life, if you want, I can give birth to a Zillion babies” Tahlia kept reading unknown to her that she already ruined a party.
“What are you doing Tahlia? The speaker is on!” Dennis yelled as soon as he got to the room quickly turning off the button.
“Oh no! Am sorry, I didn’t know it was turned on” Tahlia said looking aghast.
“What exactly is wrong with you young lady!” Felicia yelled as soon as she got into the room.
“Do you know what you’ve just ruined? Is she your girlfriend?” Felicia asked Dennis who quickly pulled Tahlia to the door way.
“Get going, I will handle it” Dennis said and though Tahlia was reluctant to leave, she took to her heels.
She was heading for the stairs when she ran straight into someone arms.
“Romeo” she called and immediately he took hold of her hand and ran outside with her.
They made it to the back of the building where there was a built in pool breathing heavily.
“You were quite awesome” Romeo said doing a thumbs up for her.
“Don’t me you heard it too?” She asked which got him nodding.
“Gosh, I must have ruined the party right?”
“You did ruin the party which works well for me cause I never wanted to be there in the first place. You saved me ” He said as he took hold of her hand.
“I just happen to be at a place in a wrong time” she replied wanting to pull her hand out of his but he tightened his hold.
“What you said in the broadcasting room is true right? You really love me” Romeo said slowly.
“I was just reading out a script and nothing else”
“Is that a lie just to make me leave just like you lied about the spell?” He asked slowly.
“It is the truth! Both the script and the spell is the truth. I don’t feel a thing for you Romeo, I already have a boyfriend. The earlier you accept that the better for us” she said as she pulled her hand out of his.
She was heading back into the building when she heard him say.
“Am going to jump into the pool and make myself drown. If you indeed feel something for me, you will try to save me but if you don’t, leave me there to die”
“Are you crazy? Why on earth would you…No, Romeo!” She cried out when he fell into the pool.
Tahlia stood watching him sink into the water while thinking of what she should do.
She stared around hoping to spot someone but there was no one there.
“d@mn!” She muttered before jumping into the water.
She swam towards him and pulled him out of the water both of them drawing in air.
“Why did you do that! You gave me a Fright!” She yelled as she hit him on the chest.
Romeo lips curve into a smile before her pulled her by the waist towards him.
“I gave you a choice and you chose it. Spell or no spell, am never letting you go” Romeo said starring at her huge dark eyes….
