Chapter Ten
Si-u was having her makeup done as she sat in front of the mirror smiling to herself, Ji-ho came over holding a plate of sliced Apples, she sat down on the bed staring at her as she was bitting from her fruit.
“Are you going on a date?” ji-ho asked smiling knowingly at her and si-u stare at her from the mirror.
“Yes”.
” Who? A colleague at work?”.
“Nah, I am going out with Byung-ho”. she replied, and ji-ho stare surprisingly at her.
” Byung-ho?”.
“Yes,”
“Wow, I didn’t know you two have gone through this far.”
“How?”. she turns to her, “What far?”
“Like you know…you two…you know what I mean?”. she said and Si-u chuckled
“I understand what you meant, but Byung-ho and I are just friends, no strings attached to It”.
” Really? Are you sure about that?”.
“Yes big sis, I am sure”. She stood up to get her bag.
” I wish you the best of luck, are you coming back home today?”.
“Yes, but I will be home late”. she said and then heard a car horn. ” I think he is the one”.
“Okay, be careful and have fun”.
” I will see ya”. they peck each other cheeks and she left, ji-ho stood up and left to the living room. A few minutes later, she heard a doorbell.
“Is Si-u back early? did she forget something?” she wondered and then stood up to open the door, she went stunned to see Baek-Hyun on her doorstep holding two shopping bags containing food items.
“Hey”. he said smiling at her.
” Baek-Hyun, w-what are you doing here?” she sputtered.
“Are you letting me in or not?”. he asked and she opened the door for him to get in, he enters and walk straight to the kitchen.
” You still haven’t answered my question, why are you here and what are those items for?” she said staring confusedly at him as he was busy bringing out the food items from the bag.
“As you can see, am trying to prepare dinner for the two of us”. he smiled.
” You– she got interrupted as Baek-Hyun move closer to her and took her hands tenderly.
“Please allow me to do this for you, let it be my treat to you”. he stare lovely into her eyes and felt her cheek tenderly.
” You know — he shut her up by placing his finger on her lips.
“shh, I don’t want to hear it”. he took the finger off and took her hand. ” I missed you and I can’t stop thinking about you, every night and day that I woke up, you are always on my mind, you ignoring me and not wanting to be with me is killing me, softy, please let me make it up to you”. he kissed her cheek lovingly and she shivered at his touch, she closed her eyes and Mõ@n at his tender kisses place on cheeks and neck. He caressed her gently and turn his gaze to her sëxy pink lips.” I have been hunted for your lips for days now and not wanting to feel it every day drives me crazy”. he stare back into her eyes and saw them burning with desire, he moved his lips closer and suddenly they got interrupted by the sound of a phone call. she jerks up and they push back, she rushed nervously to pick up her call, while Baek-Hyun left for the kitchen to prepare the meal.
Two hours later, after the mouth-watering meal, Ji-ho sees him off to his car and they stood face-to-face with each other, meanwhile, Si-u and Byung-ho arrived a few minutes ago and they parked a little far from the house and they were surprised to see them.
“Baek-Hyun?” he called surprisedly.
“You know him? Why is he with my sister? Do they know each other?”. Si-u asked staring at them from the car as they were smiling lovingly at each other.
” Yeah”.
“Wow, they look perfect together, this is actually the first time I am seeing my sister this happy”. she said and Byung-ho turn his gaze to her.
” How do you mean?”.
“Um, is a long story for another day, let’s just see what they are up to”. she said smiling as they continue staring at them.
” Thanks again for the meal, I really enjoyed it,” ji-ho said.
“Am glad you enjoyed it, but you haven’t rewarded me for the meal”. he said.
” How do you mean?” she asked nervously and Baek-Hyun took her hand and pull her closer to himself, their faces were inch apart, and she gulped anxiously, while Byung-ho and Si-u let out a gasp. “What are you doing?” she sputtered.
“Getting my reward from you and my reward is to get a kiss from you since it was ruined before”. he said as he stare lovely into her eyes.
” Baek-Hyun, w-we can’t”. she said nervously.
“But I want to, if I don’t get a kiss from you, I might regret it, and for the past few days I haven’t gotten closer to you, it has been hunting me down”. he cupped her face and moved his lips closer and kissed her softly. Byung-ho and Si-u wide-mouths in surprise.
“Oh my gosh, are they for real?”. Si-u said and they continue to watch them. Beak-Hyun encircled his arms around her waist and deepen the kiss, Ji-ho melt along with his kisses. Soon they pulled away from each other to catch their breath as they stare into each other eyes.
” Sleep tight my little pumpkin”. he kissed her forehead and enter his car and then he zoom off, ji-ho waved at him smiling, and then went back inside.
“Did that just happened? Are they together?” Byung-ho questioned surprisedly and they sighed.
“I can’t believe this, my sister with that hot handsome, and young guy? Unbelievable!”. she scoffs.
ji-ho lay on her bed staring at the ceiling and thinking about what happened earlier, she sigh at her thoughts and turn to the other side of the bed
” This can’t happen?”. she said with a sigh.
“What can’t happen?”. si-u interrupted her from the doorstep. ji-ho, turn in her direction quickly.
” Si-u, you are back”.
“Yes, a few minutes ago”. she said and move to sit next to her.
” what is it that can’t happen? Who are you referring to?”.
“No one, how did your date go?”. she said trying to change the topic, si-u stared at her suspiciously. ” What?”.
“What are you not telling me?”.
” How do you mean?”
“What I mean is, what are you hiding from me “. she said.
” Nothing, I am not hiding anything”.
“Really? Then who was that guy that you came out with a minute ago?” she asked and ji-ho turn to her surprisedly. “don’t try to hide it because I…. I mean, we saw you two coming out from the house and you even…..kissed”. she said and ji-ho sigh tiredly.
Meanwhile, Byung-ho was driving along the road to his house, and he went surprised to see Baek-Hyun parked in front of his house and leaning on the car. he drove a little closer to him and parked, he came down and move to him.
” Hey”. Beak-hyun said and they embraced each other with a handshake.
“What are you doing out here? Why didn’t you go inside?”. Byung-ho said.
” Nothing, I won’t be staying long”.
“Ok, what brought you here?”.
” You”.
“me?”. he asked confusedly.
” Yeah, you, I saw your car earlier at ji-ho place”.
“You saw us?”
“yes, the same way you saw ji-ho and me”.
“yeah, so when were you going to tell us that you are going out with her”.He asked with his arms folded across his chest.
“I am not going out with her”
“Really? With what I saw”. he scoff.
” Is not like that, she doesn’t want to be with me b–”
“Because of your betrothed?” he interrupted him and. Baek-hyun sigh sadly.” you know what, sleepover tonight, and let’s get this over with”. he move back to his car also with Baek-hyun and they drove inside.
The next day, Ha-jun was pestering around her room wondering what could be going on with Baek-hyun and the lady from the other night.
“Why can’t I get this over with, why do I feel suspicious between them? The way Baek-hyun looks at her is different from the way he looks at me “. she grunt and sat on her bed.” I hope that is not what I am thinking, that lady is too attractive that no man can resist, I can’t allow anyone takes Baek-Hyun away from me”. She sighs angrily and dials a number on her phone, it rings for a while. “I need you to do something for me “. she said on the phone and then hang up staring at one spot.
