CHAPTER THIRTY TWO
Mia paced around the room restlessly, she kept dialing her moms number but it wasn’t going through.
What’s going on? Mom should have called by now, she muttered to herself as she kept calling, same result.
Voicemail.
She was anxious about the outcome, she had helped her mom track Blue’s movement but she didn’t go with her mom because she didn’t want Blue finding out she was the one behind it.
All she wanted was for her mom to return with Blue and get her locked up again as usual so she can have her boyfriend back but its been 12 hours since her mom left, no calls, no message.
She didn’t know how to feel, mom didn’t get into an accident, did she?
She couldn’t get an answer to any of her questions so she had to go in search of her.
Rushing to her room, she grabbed her car keys and stormed out.
She drove out of her house, still tracking Blue’s phone.
She kept driving like a mad person, hoping her mom is safe wherever she is. .

Your Majesty, Evenius bowed standing at the entrance.
King Wright waved and he bowed then walked in to join him at the window.
Great view, he said nervously.
Silence.
Smiling nervously, he faced outside, he would rather enjoy the view quietly, he can’t have himself flying out through the window, he thought and King Wright glared at him.
Hehe, he laughed nervously at his thought.
He came to ask the king about the progress on his mate but seeing how angry he looked, he would rather keep shut.
He was still enjoying the view when he went into a brief trance.
He saw the King walking alone along the forest, close to the heart of the forest when he slumped and fell.
He dropped dead.
Seeing this, he couldn’t control the fear that grew in his heart as he flinched, then tightened his hands on the thick curtain close to him like the curtain would take away what he saw.
He didn’t know what to say.
He was thorn between telling the king or going to find solution himself.
How can the king die?
That’s not possibke.
How would he die now that his mate is close to finding him?
He stopped thinking the moment he remembered the king could read his mind if he wanted to.
He glanced at the King, but he looked rather too invested in wh@tëver he was looking at.
He didn’t hear that, thank goodness, he exhaled blocking his thoughts completely as he tried to think of how beautiful the village looked from up high the Kings castle.
He felt lucky to be part of it.
It wasn’t planned.
His mind drifted to when he almost got choked to death, how he saw his whole life reflect right before his eyes.
He was dead, he was so sure.
But then he woke up and found himself in a strange room with the King waiting for him to wake up.
It didn’t matter if it was him that killed him, but it was him who gave a second chance to life.
He was just an old, close to the grave poor seer, but twenty years was added to his life.
He remembered five years ago when the twenty years was due, he was so scared.
He thought he was going to die.
He spent the whole year preparing for his death but it never came.
King Wright told him he would be alive till whenever his mate steps her foot into the kingdom.
Five years later, he is still alive, serving this one man he would do anything for.
It doesn’t matter if their Luna’s return was going to amount to his death, all he cared about was the happiness her presence will bring to his King.
Even if that incident twenty fove years ago never happened, he was sure he didn’t have up to four years to live but he has lived twenty five years already.
These past years, he lived better than he lived his entire life before the palace.
He didn’t care what anyone has to say about the king, he had his own experience of him and he knew what he felt.
Even if I die today on the most tragic way, I will still be grateful for the opportunity to be who I never was, who i never expected to be.
He lifyed his head to look at the King, He saw that purple light blinking on his neck.
Oh No, he thought almost screaming.
His vision wasn’t a joke.
I have to go now, Your majesty,I need to meet with Maya, he said with a bow and the king nodded.
Like a wind, he rushed out panting so hard when he stopped.
The king is dying, he whispered to himself.
But how?

Mia drove through the unfamilia road, following the map on her phone.
It was getting a little late and it looked like it was going to rain.
She tried to speed up but the road was all messed up.
What the hell is Blue doing here? goddammit! she cursed when she almost bumped into a dog.
Finally, she exclaimed tiredly when she noticed she was at the same area the map shows they are.
There was a big house few miles ahead and that was all that was in the street .
Where is this place, she wondered getting down from the car fearfully.
She should have atleast come with Ricardo or anyone, she thought thinking of what to do…
She knew she was around the area but she couldn’t tell exactly where.
Walking to that house might be a little risky, she thought as she stood, confused.
Not knowing what to do, she had to make the hardest decision, which is to call Blue.
Balling her fist, she tried to fight the urge to call her but there was no other alternative,she has to either call her or stand here till something bad happens to her.
Unlocking her phone, she dialed her mothers number first but it still went to voicemail.
Füçk, she cursed pacing around, here eyes landed on the dog she almost ran over, he was staring at her.
He looked like he waiting for a certain command to attack her.
Fidgetting, she took slow steps back.
Slowly, the dog turned around and ran down to the house in front and she heaved a long sigh of relief.
Swalowing her pride,she dialed Blues number, luckily, it rang.
It rang to her hearing.
She took the phone away feom her ears to hear properly.
The phone was ringing for real…
Is she around here?
But where?
Why can’t I see her? she muttered looking around.
She dialed again and it rang once again, beside her.
She exhaled then took slow and careful steps towards the sound.
There it was, at the foot of her right tyre, Blue’s phone was ringing on the floor.
Oh no, don’t tell me I tracked a phone that was probably stolen, she thought feeling disappointed.
But that feeling didn’t last when she saw August’s brand new iphone lying close to the bush
There were both here!
Theu came here together!
I can’t believe they discarded their phone!!
Füçk!!
She cursed picking up the two phones that were both broken.
Füçk! she cursed again stomping her feet on the floor angrily.
I can’t believe those bastards would do this to me!
Angrily, she walked out of the bush with the two phones, held tightly.
She sat on top of her car, she didn’t have the will to drive anymore.
She was heartbroken and filled with anger and hatred for her sister.
She tried Blue’s password and was excited when it got unlocked.
She searched for text messages, chats, call histories but saw nothing.
The only chat she saw between them was a link which she clicked on immediately.
It was the direct link to order books at the library she saw them the last time.
The Bîtch deleted everything! she groaned dropping the phone on the car then she switched to August.
She put in her name but nothing.
She tried her birthday,arranged and rearranged it, yet nothing.
She tried to think of a pet name he calls her but then it dawned on that she never heard him call her anything else asides from babe and her name most times.
She tried his name, no response.
Tried all the password she could think of but none worked.
I have to unlock this phone, i have to, i must! she half yelled and the dog came out again.
Seeing the dog she got scared but something else scared her more.
The woman walking out of the house behind the dog,she looked weak and all soaked in blood,blood was dripping from her face.
Oh no! she mutteted jumping down from the car.
She began searching for her car keys but she couldn’t find it.
It wasn’t in the car,neither was it in her pocket.
Oh no, I’m done for.
Where the hell are you? she asked rhetorically.
Her mind swiftly went to where she saw those phones,she ran quickly to that spot searching like a dog.
Her newly fixed nails in the mud but she didn’t care.
She was scared to her bones.
The woman was already closer than she expected by the time she found the key.
Please don’t kill me! she screamed shutting her eyes.
Mia, the woman called and she snapped her eyes open, surprised the scary woman knows her.
Her clothes caught her attention, she drove her mom to the park this morning she was dresses exactly like that.
Mom?! she called.
What happened to you? she asked rushing to hold her
Saraphina already transformed to Kathy, she was too weak to remain in her original nature.
She looked so innocent in Mia’s eyes.
Mia led her to the car with tears in her eyes.
Those bastards did this to you right?! she asked angrily and Kathy nodded.
Argh!
How could you Blue! she yelled igniting the car and driving off angrily.
I will return this favor Blue, she vowed and Kathy smirked.
Her anger truly has blinded her reasoning, she knows Blue well enough to know what she’s capable of but she still chose to believe her head, Saraphina thought within her.
To make her seem to be in so much pain,she groaned then shut her eyes.
She heard Mia growl angrily and smiled.
She just recruited answer member to her team.
