CHAPTER SIXTY ONE
The palace entrance was filled with crowd, right from the bush path to the palace gate, they stood, all looking worried.
It was already getting dark yet not a single person left their position.
They were worried sick for their Queen.
They were going to wait till whenever she returns no matter how long it takes.
Words already circulated all around the kingdom that the queen was missing and that it was the hose that took her.
To them, she just embarked on a journey, impossible to return from.
They were all shocked to their wits when they saw the horse from a distance
At first, fear gripped them which is the first feeling anyone gets when they set eyes on the horse..
But as he drew close, they could see the King behind him
Quickly they all made way but they didn’t stop looking around to see if the queen was coming behind them.
Look, its the Queen! someone shouted when she saw Zelda’s white hair.
Long Live the King!
Long Live the Queen! they all chorused bowing.
They continued even as the horse got to them and started riding in the space they left.
Zelda was stunned.
That’s so much crowd, much more than she has ever had even as a star in the human world.
She couldn’t stop smiling and waving at them as the horse rode past them and entered the palace gate.
Everyone in thr pavae already ran out when they heard the crowed cheering them.
They all stood outside in line and started to cheer too.
Long Live the King!
Long Live the Queen!
The horse stopped in front of them and King Weight got down.
With a smile on his face, he stretched his hands to Zelda and she took it, blushing, as she got down with his help.
Smiling at Wyatt, she brushed his head again like she did the last time to the amazement of everyone.
They all feared for her, she might get punished again but to their amazement.
The horse bowed a but then leaned closer to her as she tapped his cheek slightly, still smiling.
All they could see was Acceptance.
“We will come visit you later” King Wright mind linked Wyatt and he nodded before walking away while glaring at Peyton who was standing in the passage alone.
Frowning, she walked back inside without saying a word.
Let’s go, the King said giving his hand to her and she took it then followed him inside.
They were in the passage when she saw Queen, crawled up in a corner with the other maid.
They were both crying.
Queen? Zelda Called.
My Queen! Queen screamed standing up on her feet.
Pulling her hands out of the Kings hold, Zelda ran to her and hugged her to their surprise.
My Queen, Queen muttered trying to tell her she shouldn’t be hugging a maid but Zelda didn’t pull out.
She hugged her so tight.
Queen glanced at the King, it was her first time seeing him without a frown..
He wasn’t frowning, neither was he smiling.
She wondered what he would say after this hug.
Wright, you need to stop scaring her so she can hug me back, Zelda said with puppy eyes when pulled away from the hug.
I didn’t say anything to her, King Wright replied with a smile shocking the maids.
Did he just smile? they wondered.
See? He isn’t going to get mad at you, Zelda said to Queen who smiled nervously.
Come here Edna, Zelda called and Edna walked towards her, nervous.
Zelda stared at her eyes and the tears they she didn’t get to clean when she showed up.
Smiling, she places her palm on her cheek and wiped it off..
You don’t cry for people you don’t like, you know that right? She whispered to Edna who bent her head in silence.
I’m famished, does he eat alone? She whispered to both of them.
Glancing at the King, they nodded.
You should go in now, Its still chilly, the King said behind them.
He asked tired of standing and pretending not to be angry.
Prepare a hot bath for her, He said to Edna then to Queen…. Get her something hot to drink, she’s cold, he said then walked away.
What a caring @$$hOle, Zelda muttered to herself with a blush as she followed the girls to her room.

August was still searching the bushes when he heard women walking home from the palace, discussing their queen.
They were talking about how pretty she is and how powerful she must be judging from the length of her white hair.
Hearing this, he ran out of the bush scaring them.
Did you say the queen is back? he asked panting and one of the women nodded while the other stared at him.
Who are you?
Which family are you from? I haven’t seen your face before, she asked and he swallowed hard.
He glanced at the other woman who nodded, she was peering at his face like he has something weird on it.
Florence… Florence Whitlock, he replied and the second woman used her both hands to close her mouth.
Ah…Florence… she exclaimed shaking her head with her both hands transferred to her chest.
I was merely 82 years when she disappeared, the same woman said.
Florence was like a mother to me, she added hugging August who idk know how to react.
The other woman just started at them, she’s such younger then the second woman, she wasn’t even on when Florence left the kingdom in search if her mate.
All she’s heard were storoes about how powerdul she was.
I live there, the second woman said pointing at a house at the far end of the path.
All August could see was the roof.
You can come by later, I will tell you about you mother and also take you to her house, she said and August nodded thanking her.
They watched as he rushed home after hurriedly bidding them goodbye.
Florence, the woman kept muttering as they walked home.

Back at the human world, Ricardo who just came back for the third time to visit Saraphina took quick and cautious glances around him before bringing out a white bird from his inner pocket.
He placed the bird on the table and Saraphina took it.
She had sent him away the first time he came to her asking for her help to get to Blue.
But thinking about it, she knew she needed someone else she would end up rotting in the human jail.
He had left his contact for her to reach out to him if she changes her mind and she used it to call him.
Right now he just brought a new born bird that she asked for to pass a message to someone who can get her out.
Touching the bird, she muttered some words then handed the bird back to Ricardo who took it and hid it like he did when he came.
Get ready, was all she said to him before walking back into her cell.
He drove out of the station the same time Mia got down from a cab.
She recognized his car instantly, the plate number was the same too.
Quickly she ran back to the cab asking him to follow Ricardo’s car.
She was dying of curiosity.
She remembered him clearly telling her that he won’t be in town for few days and he’s been acting weird of recent too.
She couldn’t pin point what the issue with him was about seeing his driving out of the same station her mother is after lying made her wonder what’s going on in his head.
They stayed on his tail until he parked his car and started walking down to the bush Zelda entered from.
He took around his once again before letting the bird out from his coat then lifted his hand like he was instructed them threw the bird into the air.
Oh No, Ricardo, Mia muttered bitting her nails in worry.
It was obvious what he was up to.
This is what he’s been hiding, does he know how risky it is? she wondered not knowing if calling him will pull him out of the mess he already got himself into.
Picking up her phone, she dialed his number.
She watched as he hesitated before picking.
Hey… where are you? she asked once he picked trying to sound as normal as possible.
She saw him look around before turning to walk back to his car.
You know where I am, I’m meeting with the clients from Ohio to close the deal I told you about, he said pausing when Mia got out of the car behind his own.
Mia? he muttered with the phone still in his ear.
What have you gotten yourself into, Ricardo? she asked in a teary voice as she walked towards him.
What do you….
Don’t try to deny it, I saw everything… I told you Ricardo… you can’t change your destinies just because you want to, she said stopping in front of him.
Stay out of this Mia, he said with a serious look on his face.
Got into his car, slammed the door and zoomed out.
He’s gone… He’s definitely gone, Mia muttered bursting into tears as she watched his car speed off.

Back in White Horse Kingdom, Peyton smirked when she received the bird.
She understood what It meant as well as who sent it.
Stretching out her hands, another bird appeared
She whispered to the bird and sent it out the same way.
This time, the bird went straight to Saraphina’s room, she received the message and smirked.
Using Saraphina’s bird, Peyton sent a message to Lancelot with the carved wood attached.
He will be the one to extract the blood out Of Zelda, whether he likes it or not..
Thinking about her plans and how everything is unfolding without lifting a finger, she felt proud of herself..
Wait a little longer, My Love,I will get you out, she muttered with her hand on her chest.
