❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀

Back at the training ground where Emma and
the rest of the other students were still training,
and even though Emma was very serious with
what she was doing, she kept checking to see if
Tempest would walk in and join them.

She was training, but all she kept thinking was
Tempest.

He said he wasn’t going to take long before
coming, but seeing that there was no sign of
him at all, Emma became worried.

What was taking him so long?
Did he later decide not to come again?
What if something happened to him? Oh no!

Emma kept asking herself those questions, and
like that, she slowed down her training with
Rickket.

Though she kept telling herself that everything
was alright, but she was having that feeling that
something wasn’t right, and the feeling was
strong. When she couldn’t hold it anymore, she
had to stop what she was doing.

“I need a break” She told Rickett who only
nodded his head.

Emma walked to her water bottle, where she
grabbed it and gulped down some amount of it
as she felt very thirsty.

“I’ll be back soon” She quickly told Ilekktra and
Ioanna who were close to her, before swiftly
leaving the training ground.

Once she was out of there, she used her powers
to get to Tempest’s place as fast as she could.

Getting there, she noticed that the place was
totally different from how she saw it in the
morning before leaving.
It was messy, and without anyone telling her
what happened, she knew a big fight had taken
place.

“What the h.e.l.l! Tempest?!” She called out,
rushing into his room, but she didn’t find him
there.

Like one who was starting to lose it, she ruffled
her hair, and kept looking around.
She checked the bathroom, kitchen and she
went to his garden, but didn’t see him either.
Rather, she found that Python.

“Tempest’s in grave danger” Was all the Python
said, and Emma didn’t even bother to ask “why,
how, or what happened”?
She just instantly shut her eyes and stayed
calm, activated her vision powers and she saw
everything that had taken place.

She immediately recognized Circe’s creature
whom of course, had attacked her before, and
her eyes widened, even though they were shut.

She saw how Tempest was caught under the
creature’s spell, and how he remained
unmoving, yet struggling to move.

Emma gritted her teeth in anger, but the anger
subsided immediately because she didn’t want
to distract herself from seeing where Tempest
was taken to, and she had to be fast before
something really bΓ£d happened to him that
she’d never be able to forgive herself.

After finally seeing where Tempest was taken
to, she widened her eyes again when she saw
his mom, laughing hysterically like the witch
that she was. Her heart squeezed in pain when
she saw how helpless Tempest looked, her very
own Tempest! What the h.e.l.l?!

What evil was that witch planning to do to him?

Well, wh@tΓ«ver it was that she was planning,
Emma knew it was something very bad.

Opening her eyes, Emma took a quick glance at
the Python, anger written all over her face and
body, she didn’t say anything to it. She just
vanished into thin air, after activating another of
her powers that would take her to wherever
location she was going to, even if she didn’t
know the location of the place at all.

β€’βˆšβ€’βˆšβ€’βˆšCIRCE’S EVIL LABβˆšβ€’βˆšβ€’βˆšβ€’

Inside Circe’s lab, could be seen Circe herself
and her creature, including Tempest whom they
abducted.

He was still in that same state, unable to move.
Though he was under a spell, but he had
struggled and tried his best to break free from
wh@tΓ«ver spell he was bounded in, but the
harder he tried, the worse it got.

The entire lab was covered with Circe’s usual
black smoke as her pot of portion was
steamingly and spookily boiling, she chanted
some kind of spell or wh@tΓ«ver it was that she
was doing.

The more she chanted those words, the more
her black smokes covered the entered lab,
causing Tempest to start coughing.

His coughs were like music to Circe’s ears,
because she began laughing evilly as Tempest
coughed harder.

Her toxic and poisonous black smoke was
having a great effect on Tempest as he found
himself coughing harder, and was slowly
finding it difficult to breathe.

Circe suddenly got up from where she was
sitting and chanting her spells, her dark and
horrendous eyes fixed on Tempest who
immediately looked away, before she did
something else to him. Because he knew that
looking into her eyes, would probably cast him
into another spell, so he dared not look at her.

Circe began to laugh again as she started
circling Tempest.

He was praying hard in her heart for Emma to
come save him, break that spell that he was in
and then, he’d teach his mom and her creature a
big lesson.

He wondered what or why his mom wanted to
kìll him. Yes, he knew and had always known
that his mom h@tΓ«d him as much as he h@tΓ«d
her too, but….wait! Was what he suddenly was
thinking the reason for this?

Those were the questions Tempest was asking
himself while he was helplessly still in that
state.

He couldn’t even do anything! It was as if his
entire body was paralyzed, like all his bones
were removed and kept in the wrong places
inside his body, or like they were all broken!

“I would love to have some fun before doing
what I want to do, then kΓ¬ll you, but….hahahaha”
She laughed senselessly and wickedly.

Tempest clenched his fist, and gritted his teeth
as anger surged through, circulating all over his
body like bloΓΈd.

Seeing that anger in him, Circe laughed harder,
taunting him.

“Now I am very much convinced that you and
your father have so many things in common”
Circe started taunting him again.

Tempest’s eyes widened a bit and he froze even
more on hearing “your father”, and not just that,
but that he and his father had so many things in
common.

What the h.e.l.l was she spouting?
And what was she talking about?

His father? Same one he had been asking her
almost all his life, who his father was, but she
refused to tell him?

Who the hell was this father of his?

While Tempest was deeply lost in his thoughts,
bombarding himself with those questions, Circe
spoke again as she began to walk in circles
around Tempest.

“Who would have thought that Azrael….” She
trailed off, halting to look him in the eyes, but
Tempest avoided her eyes. “Would one day
become so powerful to transform himself to
someone else, without Circe, the most powerful
sorceress and witch, knowing” She smiled
wickedly, though Tempest couldn’t see it
because he was still avoiding her eyes.

Okay! Now what was this madwoman talking
about?

Where was she driving to? And why was she
saying all that?
Was she trying to tell him who his father was?

Tempest thought as hard as he could, trying to
figure out who the devil was talking about, but
he was interrupted again by the same devil.

“Isn’t it fascinating that you’re even in love with
the same woman your father once loved? I told
you you both have many things in common”
She mocked, leaving Tempest utterly
speechless!

And when he finally found his voice again, he
spoke with rage.

“What are you talking about, witch? Who the h.
el.l is my father?!” Tempest thundered, still
trying to free himself.

If only he could get even the slightest of
opportunity to get free, he wouldn’t even blink
before doing so.

Well, he said he didn’t care about who his father
was anymore, but since Circe was so rubbing it
on his face, he couldn’t help but wanted to know
who his father was.

“That’s your puzzle to solve, Azrael. Or better
still, your woman can tell you who your father is,
she knows”

Wait, what?! What was that that woman
spouted?

Did she just say “his woman”?
He had no other woman aside Emma.

Did she mean Emma knows who her father is?

What the f.u.c.k?!

Even though Tempest didn’t want to believe it,
he just found himself believing his mom.

He then remembered the conversation that
Emma initiated last night.
He remembered the question that Emma asked
him “but what if you do have a father?”

So she knew all along and that was why he
started that conversation?
That was why she asked him that question?

Why was Emma hiding it from him?

Wait! Emma and his father were….

Circe interrupted him again with what came out
from her mouth.

“But unfortunately for you, Azrael. You won’t get
to know that because you’re dying….” Circe said
it with no ounce of emotion.

It was like she wasn’t the one who bore that
same Azrael whom she said those words to.

Tempest on the other hand was unfazed. He
was expecting this, because he had suspected
it. And what he suspected that that might be the
reason she wanted him dΓ©ad, was still lingering
in his mind.

However, Circe hadn’t finished saying
everything she wanted to say when they all
heard a loud thud as the door swung open,
harshly.

Before Circe knew what was going on, she was
powerfully thrown to the wall, causing the wall
she landed on to crack, her creature wasn’t
excluded.

“Temp!” Emma quickly called the moment he
saw him. She used that little chance of throwing
Circe and her creature off guard to run to him.

“Tempest, what happened?” She asked, cupping
his face tenderly.

She could see how tensed Tempest was. It
seemed wh@tΓ«ver they did to him was affecting
him badly.

She could visibly see beads of sweats that had
formed on his forehead.

Aside from how he had been struggling, he was
burning inside. He was extreamely hot, plus the
smoke that was causing him to cough.

However, Tempest wasn’t fast enough to
answer Emma’s question because Circe and her
creature were back on their feet, and
immediately returned the attack.
But Emma quickly blocked the force that was
sent to them, shielding both herself and
Tempest.

She stumped her left foot on the floor of the lab
and the ground shook.
As a result of the impact, Circe and her creature
trembled, but they didn’t fall.

“Well, well, well. I had really been waiting for
you, Themis, and here you are, just like I
expected” Circe smiled menacingly at Emma
who ignored her.

All she wanted and all she came for was
Tempest…get him out of there so they could go
home together. She wasn’t even ready to fight,
she just came to save Tempest.

Without wasting time and as if Emma froze
both Circe and her creature, or time just stood
for her to do what she wanted to do. Emma
swiftly went back to Tempest, held his hands
and intertwined her fingers with his.

The moment she did that, her eyes began to
glow gray-blue, together with her fingers. Before
Circe could process what was going on, Emma
and Tempest were gone, which happened
immediately a bright light (a mixture of gray
and blue) shone, blinding everywhere.

β€’βˆšβ€’βˆšβ€’βˆš

The moment they both appeared in Tempest’s
room, they hugged themselves like they hadn’t
seen each other for like ever.

“Oh God, Tempest. I was so scared and worried
about you” Emma was the one who spoke first,
and she didn’t even wait for Tempest to speak
before she hugged him tight again and captured
his lips into hers.

She was so relieved and happy to see that he
was alright, and that she was there in time.

They both slowly pulled away from their kiss
and hug, staring at each other, tenderly.

“Are you okay?” Tempest was the one who
asked instead.

“I should be asking you that, Temp. Are you
okay?”

“I’m okay, Emma. Thank you for coming”
Tempest said, planting a soft kiss on her
forehead, shutting his eyes.

Emma smiled and wrapped her hands around
him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Even though Tempest was safe now, her heart
was still thumping hard and Tempest could
literally hear it.

“What happened, Tempest? Why does your
mom want you dΓ©ad?” Emma asked as she
raised her head off his shoulder to stare at his
face.

She didn’t need Tempest to tell him that, she
already knew why Circe did what she did.

“I really can’t tell Emma, but I think it has
something to do with what the Masters said”
Tempest replied her.

“She knows?”

“I think so, and that’s why she wants to kΓ¬ll me
before you get to do that”

“But I am never going to do that, don’t even
think about that, ever again, understand? Don’t
ever say it again, okay?” Emma told him,
sounding very serious and Tempest knew she
was very serious with what she said.

“I’m sorry, Emma, I won’t say it again. I promise”

“Good” Said Emma and silence was what
reigned afterwards, with them just hugging each
other.

While they stayed that way, something popped
in Tempest’s head and he frowned at the
thought of it.

“Emma…” He called, causing Emma to raise her
head slowly, wonering why he called her that
way, because with the tone of his voice, she
could tell something was up.

“What’s wrong?” Emma asked, meekly.

“Do you know who my father is?” He asked and
Emma who never expected the question,
creased her brows and her heart thumped
loudly.

Did he already find out? Because that question
was so unexpected.

Emma saw that there was no point lying or
trying to hide it from him, because from the way
it was, it seemed his mom said something
concerning his father.

“Yes, Tempest, I know who your father is” She
replied him.
On hearing that, Tempest furrowed, but he didn’t
say anything. He just waited for Emma to
continue.

Emma also didn’t wait for him to ask “who is
he?”
She just spoke up.

“Promise me first that you’re going to be okay
when I tell you who he is. Promise you’re not
going to think too much about” Emma said and
he immediately said “I promise”.

Emma took a deep breath first, shut her eyes
tight then opened them before speaking.

“Belphegor is your father, Tempest” She told
him, but he didn’t look surprised.

In fact, it looked like he had expected it to be
Belphegor.

Emma looked at him keenly, but saw no shock
on his face.

“Are you okay?” She asked with worry evident in
her voice.

“I’m okay, Emma. I just need to take a cool bath”
Was all that he said, with a feighned smile
which Emma knew it was faked.

He kissed her forehead again before heading to
the bathroom. “I’ll be back, okay?” He added.

He had barely taken a step when he stopped on
his track, and asked.

“So…. you knew and that was why you asked
me yesterday, right?”

“Yes, Temp. I got to know it was Belphegor
when I went to ask godmother Dimitra how and
why you were Belphegor’s weakness” Emma
explained.

“And you refused to tell me because you were
worried I was going to be thrown into more
frustration, huh?”

“Yes, and please don’t, okay? Remember you
made a promise to me”

“I did, Emma and I don’t break promises. As
much as I didn’t expect it to be Belphegor, I also
am not surprised that it is him. That’s typical of
my mother, wasn’t expecting her to mate with
some good guy, you know” Tempest said as he
walked back to Emma, eyes locked with hers.

“Want to bath with me?” He asked, with a
mischivous smile as he took off his shirt.

Before Emma could protest or do anything, they
both were already in the bathroom, with
Tempest already undressing her, getting ready
for the cool shower.

Meanwhile, Circe was in her lab raging with
anger, as she became very scary even to her
creature that is creepy herself.

NEXT DAY MORNING* HUMAN WORLD*
DIANE’S PLACE

“So, why didn’t you go to school, silly?” Emma
asked Diane who sat right next to Emma on the
bed, staring at her at like she hadn’t seen her in
ages.

She was so excited and startled when she
walked back to her room and found Emma,
sitting and smiling mischivously at her, just like
the other day. Except, she wasn’t devouring
Diane’s food this time.

Diane thought that Emma had forgotten her
because she refused to come see her again
since the last time she visited.

“Maybe I knew you were coming?” Diane replied,
like she trying to mock her.

Emma only rolled her eyes at her, without
saying anything.

They had actually talked about a lot of things,
and Emma had told her everything that was
happening in her life. From who she turned out
to be and Diane’s eyes kept dilating like they
were going to fall out of their sockets.

She just couldn’t believe that her best friend
was….the f.u.c.k?!

She felt so happy and honored to be friends
with her that she kept stealing glances at her
and Emma kept rolling eyes, making Diane to
laugh.

Then, they talked about the situation she was
faced with at that moment.

And all that Diane could tell her was that she
should follow her heart, and do what it said.

If she really really loved Tempest, then she
should do what her heart said.

Although, Emma had already made up her mind
and she wasn’t going to change it if Diane had
said otherwise. However, talking to her best
friend about it was the sweetest thing she had
missed doing.
She knew Diane would support her decision, she
always had.

“You’re visiting mom and dad after here, aren’t
you?”

“Do you want to come?” Emma answered Diane
with a question.

“Sh|t! Are you just asking? You got to be
kidding…..” Diane hadn’t finished talking when
she and Emma heard loud wails suddenly
coming from people.

“What’s going on?” Emma immediately stood up
as her senses told her that there was danger in
the city.

She and Diane rushed outside, and met scary
looking demons and rogue zombies, creatures
and everything scary, everywhere. Everywhere
was suddenly turning dark, spookily and a lot of
humans were dΓ©ad already…..
