Samantha just continued with her meal, She didn’t mind Newton anymore. She ate 2 plates and drank a lot.
“Thank you for the meal” She said standing up. She looked at the boys and bowed her head.
“I’m already leaving…She smiled and faced Blaze “Goodbye Blaze”
“See you tomorrow” He smiled back.
“Huh?…Softball, Me too… What about me?” He asked in a silly way.
Samantha looked at him and quickly glanced at space. “Goodbye Brad”
“No… I don’t agree! Look at me first before tallking”. Samantha sighed deeply and looked at him. She laughed immediately she saw his face. He made a funny look on it and seemed more like a clown.
“What’s this? You looked awful funny like a…chimpanzee” She laughed
“Thank goodness you laughed, I thought you were still angry with me”Brad said as Samantha shyly looked at the floor.
“I’m sorry for behaving that way, Anyways… We are gonna meet tomorrow!” She smiled.
“What’s this? If you guys wanna talk, Go to a private place, You are ruining my meal” Newton said quite frustrated by their talks.
“Go…We will see tomorrow, Come on time, Softball” Brad said as he waved to her. Samantha nodded and left the room.

“Dad!” Samantha yelled seeing her father from afar.
“Baby Mantha!” He yelled back sweetly. She smiled and rushed to him landing a hug.
“Dad, I’ve missed you… Have you been well?” She asked pressing her face on his shirt.
“Yeah… Have you been well too?”
“Yeah” She replied
“Samantha?” He called
“Yes Dad?” She answered removing her face which laid on his chest. She looked at him and he looked back.
“You went to work right?” He asked, Samantha felt sadness in his voice. She blinked her eyes and nodded.
“You know… You’re preparing for a big difficult exam, You promised me–
“Dad, Don’t worry… Count on me, I’m still gonna make you proud, Okay… You believe me right?” She asked cutting him short. Mr Brooklyn sighed heavily and smiled.
“Alright, I’m gonna believe you…Just study hard, I’m counting on you, Also get ready for your registration, You know it has started commencing”
Samantha smiled and nodded numerous times.
“Noona!” Josh called which startled the both. Samantha disengaged from her father and looked beyond her father’s shoulders. Her eyes met Josh who looked back at her.
“What?” She asked bending her head over.
“Your friends visited–
“Aiish… d@mn it! I’m so dead, They are gonna be furious, I should have come home earlier to see them, Dad… Please, I gotta go!” Samantha said as she began running off.
“To where?” Her father quickly asked
“To see my friends” Samantha yelled and left his sight.
“She behaves like a guy, Just take a look at her sagging” He smirked.

“I should have killed you right this minute….if not because of what Newton did to you” Malia said as she threw the chips into her mouth.
“Should I break him into pieces? Why should he be cold and harsh to you, Are you sure he’s human?” Elle asked
Samantha laughed.
“Anyways, I’m grateful Blaze protected you, He’s a nice guy… Oh my, I’m also happy you fell for him, I’m sure he’s the right guy” Giselle added
“I know right, He’s a definition of Prince Charming!” Samantha chuckled
“Look at them talking about guys and love, By the way… We really want to visit your work place” Malia commented
“Hey! No… I might lose a point” Samantha retorted
“What? How? Why?” Malia asked with confusion written on her face,Elle wasn’t an exception too. A sighed deeply.
“You see, Huh… Newton set some few rules for me to follow and obey, One of the rule was not to allow any guests of mine, I just shouldn’t invite anyone over to his place no matter what situation it might be.. Period!, Or I might lose a point”
“Darn it! What? Really? Show me this guy, I need to deal with him!” Elle retorted
“I dealt with him then, in the night party, Remember?” Samantha whispered. The girls nodded laughing.
“So? How many points have you got now? Still Ten, I guess?” Elle asked
“Nah, It’s eight” Samantha replied
“What? Already? But How?” Elle asked curiously
“Just some little mistakes,, you know?” Samantha replied as they both nodded their heads.
“Uhmm, Samantha … I wanna ask a question” Elle said scratching her throat.
“About?” Samantha replied staring at her. Elle looked at her nervously and tucked her hair at the back of her ear.
“Huh? About Joshua… Huh–
“What about him? Did he do something wrong?”
“No, No, Not at all… It’s just that–Ding! Malia’s phone message alarm interrupted them. They stared at each other, then traced their eyes to the big an phone resting on the table.
“Oh sorry, Let me get that” Malia said as she stood up. She walked to the phone and unlocked it. She clicked her message box and she saw it was from her cousin, Blaze,She smiled and read the letter which stated thus;
?Let’s talk Malia… This night huh?At the bar close to your place?.
?Why? What’s up, Is it anything important??
?Yeah, I want you to help me concerning your friend,?. His reply came fast. Seems, He had time for his phone
