He brought out bottle water and sip before turning around to face us but before then he was already surrounded by three guards while the fourth guard was shielding me
As soon as he turned, one of the guards mentioned his name in shock

I and Vicky exchanged glances immediately

Vicky yelled pointing the gün she picked earlier at both Morris and the guard
Fear gripped me, “What if all my guards are now working for Mirabella and are her to terminatê my life” I pondered as many scary things run through my mind.
I looked at Vicky with the gün in her hands, she was visibly shaking, her hands were literally vibrating. I know she haven’t handle gün before and I doubt if she can even pull the triggér
God! what have I gotten myself into, if I had listened to Vicky earlier we wouldn’t be in this situation right now. “Dear Lord, only you can save me and my friend right now” I prayed silently in my heart
I looked at the three other guards with their güns pointed towards Morris and waiting for my order and Morris himself doesn’t even looked worried or scared at all.
Ma’am, there must be a misunderstanding somewhere, Mr Morris is harmless and not that kind of person that will want to harm you or anybody. He doesn’t work for anybody but rather he is a boss on his own ma’am.
Look ma’am, Mr Morris is the youngest brother of “Derricks Anderson’s empire” and I was actually headed to his house when I received the message from Vicky, so because of how urgent ma’am Vicky’s message sounded, I decided to rush over here first. The guard explained

Nobody is going to kïll you ma’am Tonia, the person will have to kïll me first before getting to you. Mr Morris here can’t even hurt a fly, there’s a misunderstanding somewhere please just give him a chance to explain what his mission here is, please ma’am.
I looked at Mr Gilbert for a while, “He is the closest and most trusted of all my guards”
He worked for my mum for years and my mum before her demise personally entrusted me to him for safety. Even when I dismissed them temporarily, he wasn’t happy atall and always comes once in awhile to check up on me, he still calls me every week to ask of my health and safety.
I think he is making sense somehow, Morris said earlier that he came to murdér me because he is been blackmailed to do so. If he is really a bad person, he wouldn’t have come this clean right? I was battling with my thoughts because I’m scared of trusting anyone now except for Vicky
I looked at Vicky and she nooded her head, meaning that she agreed to what Mr Gilbert said by giving Morris a chance to explain what his mission is.
Without spoken wards, I and Vicky can interact with each other and understand ourselves with looks and signs, that’s how close and deep we have bonded with each other
