Thelma let out a scoff standing up from her bench, she was about responding to Father Micheal when Cindy tapped her lightly.
“Let’s just leave quietly, doing this won’t make any difference, not like it would change anything” Cindy muttered trying to make Thelma see reasons with her.
“Huh? And why should I do that? He Füçking called me an old woman and he’s even ordering me out of the cathedral, like who does that?” Thelma questioned
Everyone had directed their attention to the scene watching it with interest.
“How about this?we leave quietly for my sake huh? For my reputation” Cindy replied and that calmed Thelma down a bit. Cindy helped Thelma out of the cathedral
“I’m going to get back at him, I won’t make this slide” Thelma muttered
” And we can always do that another time” Cindy added
” I wasn’t called a weirdo prosecutor for nothing; he has done…..
” Let’s just go” Cindy cuts her off
MEANWHILE**
“Füçk” Father Michael muttered facing the statue of Mary and Jesus Christ. The priest who was beside him turned to stare at him sharply while blinking his eyes rapidly.
“As I was saying, God promised us ….
He suddenly banged his fist on the pulpit again causing everyone to flinch with fear in their eyes. They all stared at him with just one thought “who is this priest?”
“Where the hell did I stop?” He turned to the priest who was beside him also leading the mass. The priest just moved backwards in fright without saying a word.
Father Michael ran his hand through his hair with closed eyes, he threw his head backwards in frustration.

Valerie’s gaze went to the wall clock as soon as Thelma entered the living room before averting her gaze back to Thelma who had slumped on the couch tiredly
“I wasn’t expecting you to be back this early, the morning mass takes close to two hours” Valerie voiced out her thoughts after a while as she noticed that Thelma was not ready to speak.
“The new priest sent me out of the cathedral”Thelma answered with a slight shrug
” What for? Like who the hell does that? Don’t you think the priest strange too? I wondered what kind of priest will react in such manner when you hugged him” Valerie uttered
” Strange? I find him very interesting” Thelma responded with a sly smile on her face
” I will be confessing to my sins and get admitted to the church” She added making Valerie eyes widened. She let out a deep grunt
“Should’nt you be focusing on finding a partner than that now? You are getting old miss!!” Valerie literally screamed
” That’s what I’m about doing…. Move closer to the one who has won my heart” Thelma replied causing Valerie’s face turn pale immediately. She palmed her face with her hand and in no time silent whimpers started coming from her making Thelma surprised
“What… Don’t tell me….
” You have finally lost it, did you perhaps hit your head somewhere and you lost your senses? We can go for medical check up you know…. I mean, who is the world would hit on a priest?” Valerie cried raising her voice at Thelma who just sat there undaunted, it’s not like it’s the first time they are having such arguments
“I… I, Thelma Willow will hit on a priest, it’s fun” Thelma cuts her off with a slight giggle
“Then get ready to be single all your life” Valerie retorted
“And get ready not to have a grandchild,that makes it even then” Thelma added making her to receive a glare from Valerie
“I have to go to work, we can continue this discussion later” Thelma said standing up

Father Micheal rolled his eyesballs as Father Aaron kept on talking, he was getting bored at the whole thing already.
“You shouldn’t have done that to her, do you know how embarrassed she must have felt? In the midst of everyone? What if we’ve just lost a soul? What if she does not appear in church any more?” Father Aaron questioned
” Her voice was loud, I couldn’t concentrate anymore…. So I just had to do that to keep her in check, you should listen to the sermon and not talk!” Father Micheal retorted
” Listen Father, the world is too harsh to push people away, we have to drag them closer…
“Can you just stop? It’s becoming annoying already” Micheal cuts him off with
” Did he do a personality test before becoming a priest? Is he even a priest?” Sister Abigail muttered, she is one of the respected nuns of the cathedral.
“Do you want to eat anything? You haven’t taken anything since you got here” She butted into the conversation trying to liven up the already tensed situation.
“I’m good” Micheal answered calmly
” Are you sure? I can hurriedly pre….
“I just said that I am good!!” He snapped causing her to flinch. She blinked her eyes already trying to calm her already unsteady breathe.
“You…shouldn’t…have….” She said with her voice quivering like she would cry anytime soon
“Then you shouldn’t have bugged me” Father Micheal muttered standing up and like that he left the cathedral. Father Aaron and Sister Abigail exchanged glances
“We’ve welcomed trouble to our midst I guess”

Festus looked up from what he was doing with a smile as soon as Thelma entered the office and that only caught her off guard. Festus was a type that rarely smile actually.
“What’s wrong with him?” She muttered under her breathe walking closer. Festus got an envelope pushing it to her. He urged her to open it by nodding his head and with furrowed brows, she took the bulky envelope. The opened it and checked the content; it was filled with cash.
Thelma’s eyes widened in bewilderment, she raised her head to look at him baffled, he still had the smile on his face
“What’s… what’s this… what’s this for?” She found herself stuttering
” It’s a gift” He replied simply
“But….I…
” A thank you would do and like I said, it’s a gift from me to you” He cuts her off
” And also you can take charge of the embezzlement case, all information and files you need will be forwarded to your office. I believe you will do well with it, make me proud” He added shocking her the more
” Thank you so much sir” She muttered still shocked at the whole thing
“You can leave to your office” He responded
“Thank you Sir” She said again before making her way out.
” Why is he suddenly being nice?” She said with gritted teeth as she made her way out of Festus’ office

The door broke making the family in the apartment flinch in fear, the mother and child was shaking visibly and the husband wasn’t left out.
“What….what do you want?” He asked only to be shut in the leg by Wasp. He nudged the men he came with and in no time the whole family was bundled up.

The back elevator opened and suddenly all the security cameras in the hospital went off. It had been the usual practice whenever their operation wants to begin. The kidnapped was successful pushed into the hospital by Wasp and they made their way to the VIP ward.
Jade and two other doctors were already there dressed for the surgery. The had their gloves and mask on and the surgical table had been prepared already.
A smirk appeared on her face as the family of three was pushed into the ward. They had been blindfolded and tied. The family was obviously struggling but what else could they do, they had been rendered helpless. Blood was still oozing out of the spot where the man was shot earlier and it was left unattended to
“Three?? Smells like wealth” She muttered getting an injection from the table. She shoved it into the neck of the man and in no time, he fell asleep.
“Will you attend to his wounds first?” Wasp questioned
“No, he’ll be meeting death anyways but too bad it will be a painful one” She mumbled faking a pitiful look
Wasp and one of the doctors present carried the unconscious man to the surgical bed. He was undressed in no time and he was lying st3rk naked on the bed. His wife and little child were sobbing confused on what was going on.
“May his soul rest in peace” Jade muttered and got the scapel, she sliced it into the men with a vicious smile playing on her face. His blood started sprouting out from the cut.
“Forceps” She ordered and it was given to her
” We will be harvesting the kidney, liver, his heart and every other thing you think is valuable” She commanded setting to business

A smile appeared on Thelma’s face as Father Micheal came over. She had actually called in for confession and luckily for her, he was the one who came to listen to her confession
His countenance changed immediately he saw her. A slight frown appeared on his face
“What do you want?” He muttered with so much difficulty
” I want to make a confession” She answered ignoring the scowl on his face.
“You can’t be forgiven” He retorted immediately
” Huh?”
” The Almighty cant forgive you” he repeated
